I was a bit confused when I walked up expecting a food truck and only saw chairs outside, looks like they're going to lease the restaurant building that was previously there and one of the owners said that they will have 3 separate restaurants there, Olivia Bros, a pizza place, and a burger place--how exciting! I had a really nice chat with one of the owners there and they all seem like really lovely people--kind hearted with little kids around so hopefully they stay around for some time! They were still redoing the front of house so not sure when they will open fully but looking forward to trying more Azerbaijan food. Since I've never had Azerbaijan food before, I asked for a recommendation and he said all of the food is good but did say that the chicken shawarma was big and I was feeling a bit hungry so went with that. It came with fries and some peppers, which reminded me of banana peppers. Not spicy with a briney taste to it, great accompaniment. He also tossed in this yogurt drink (I didn't get the name) that was tasty. Overall, good food and will be back to try their lamb kebabs and the burger as well and interested to see what their pizzas will be like as well. Amazing Chicken Shawarma wrap! Loaded with chicken and that was the last part. It's heavy on sauce too and that does make it delicious, but watch the calories/fat if you are particular. This is their most recommended dish and for good reason. Side of fries were nice and crispy too: I also tried the grilled chicken plate and that was pretty good as well. Again, good portion! On my first visit, they offered a drink for free and I tasted the Ayran (yogurt based drink). Friendly people. Next time, I'll try the Baku Chicken sandwich. Btw, it's in a small parking lot next to a restaurant, and you should have parking spots at the back. There always seems to be a decent crowd occupying the tables near the food truck. read more

I saw this was a newer place in the area, and I'm always curious to try a new shawarma. Holy moly, the food is INCREDIBLE! Maybe my favorite shawarma in the Bay! Ok, it's a good truck with another seating area near it with chairs, tables and umbrellas. Area is well maintained and clean. Now about the food. The guys working the truck are awesome! Lamb and chicken are halal. I had the Baku chicken sandwich which was flavorful. It was like a panini, bread nice and crispy on the outside and warm, fluffy and light on the inside. Filling on the sandwich was chicken with a healthy dose of white sauce. The sandwich comes with fries. Loved it! For a drink I had the Ayran which is a yogurt drink with cucumber in it. I ordered the double Wagyu burger, the chicken salad sandwich, and the chicken Shawarma wrap. That might not be the exact names but either way, they were so delicious and the flavoring was unique. The parking lot had some chairs which I relaxed in while I waited. The server was friendly. He swapped out the fries for a salad, which I was grateful for. He also pointed out how my car lights were on and that it could drain my battery, ha. definitely would come again read more

This used to be our absolute favorite spot when they first opened as a food truck -- the food was truly outstanding. Sadly, the quality has changed. The dishes no longer taste the same, portions have shrunk significantly, and the prices feel too high for what you get now. Please bring back the original food truck chefs. I was suckered in by the 17x 5 star reviews. Maybe they were paid for? Location is sketchy. In the parking lot of a closed restaurant. People are going in and out of the restaurant, hanging around smoking cigarettes. It seems like people could be living out of their cars and/or the restaurant. Not sure why they run a food truck rather than reopen the restaurant... Then the food...people in the reviews called this best shawarma wrap in the bay area? How about biting into mouthful of sauce and barely any chicken??? I hoped maybe the sauce was just heavy in one end of the wrap but bit into other end and same thing. 3-4x the amount of sauce they should have put on it. Inedible. I put it in the fridge but I don't know why, because I'm not going to finish it. Luckily I have more food. read more

A Fantastic Hidden Gem! Finally, Real Shawarma in Mountain View! What a surprising and welcome find! I stumbled upon this food truck, which looks like it just opened within the last week or so. It's a game-changer to finally have a quality shawarma spot in Mountain View, saving me a drive to Santa Clara. A heads-up for your first visit: The truck is currently unmarked, but the location pin on Yelp is perfectly accurate. The owner was incredibly friendly and even gave me a taster of the chicken, which was a great touch. I ordered the shawarma wrap and it was absolutely delicious--packed with authentic flavor and a generous amount of their excellent garlic sauce. The included sides of pickled chili peppers and french fries completed the meal perfectly. My only two small suggestions for the owners: including a side of that amazing garlic sauce for dipping the fries would be incredible, and slightly increasing the fry portion would be a great move, especially while building a loyal following. Minor suggestions aside, the shawarma itself is fantastic. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try other items, like the Baku sandwich which the owner described as classic college street food. A definite new go-to spot! read more
