Chicken Peri Peri Sandwich
Vicky Y.

Eggmania is located in a very unassuming parking lot but I loved the vibes and the plentiful of outdoor seating! I was intrigued when I saw that they served dubai chocolate sandwich. It was alright-- it was very rich in chocolate pistachio flavor, but I wish the kunafa was crispy instead of soft. The sandwich itself was crunchy though. We also got the chicken peri peri which was tangy sandwiched between two crunchy slices of bread. To top it off, we got the roti which was thin and flat like tortilla, very unlike other southeastern roti I've had (those are usually flaky). I wish there was a dip that came with this roti. I will be back to try the egg dishes next time, after all it's called EggMania!

Got the chicken pedi peri sandwich, it was surely delicious! But when you order the pic shows four pieces of sandwiches but I received only half of it. I don't have my Togo order picture , but adding the picture provided on ordering page. I only received two here .

Stopped by for a date night without the kids on a random weekday. Very lovely setup with the little up igloo tent thingy and the cute colorful tables with games and deco. Food was good too! Tried the Peri Peri egg sandwich and the volcano biryani. Sandwich was great, with a good spice, and volcano biryani was interesting with a medley of eggs in different form lol. It was very different from anything else we've eaten outside. Service was good too, very friendly staff with a great welcoming smile. Overall vibe is good. Will return with kids one day!

I would hate to write a poor review because of their choice of packaging. The rating is only for the food. But, they use black plastic packaging which is known to be toxic especially when hot sauce based dishes come in contact with it. I asked them about it and the lady helping me seemed to acknowledge my concerns. I hope they take the feedback seriously and consider eco friendly and non toxic packaging, I am sure customers would be willing to bear the up charge. Now onto the food. We got the peri peri sandwich on their recommendation. The sandwich came with a chips packet and some sauce sachets on the side. The sandwich was made with three slices of bread and cut up in the middle. My family shared this and we were all in consensus that it was extremely salty. They used a spice blend to amp up the heat and it just felt rawish and unfinished. I would have maybe liked to try the kheema lasun which was also recommended. I hope to go back once they change their packaging.

Wow! I found Eggmania through a Yelp email blast featuring "Hot New Restaurants Near You". Eggs are my favorite protein and in our family we love Indian restaurants of all types and geographies. I'd been meaning to try a similarly egg-themed Indian restaurant in San Jose, but the Eggmania menu jumped out at me for all its egg-centric sandwich, wrap, rice, and curry options. For my first visit, I tried the Egg Peri Peri sandwich and the Egg Masala sandwich by going splitsies with my 14 y.o. son. We asked to dial back the spice level a bit, yet both, especially the Egg Peri Peri, still had a decent kick. Between the two, we both preferred the Egg Masala, which seemed to feature the egg more and was actually pretty darn awesome. I also grabbed a mango lassi for the road which is always a fave as well. The Eggmania setup is also interesting. Prateek, one of the owners, took my order. He has a tech job by day and moonlights at Eggmania. Eggmania is a franchise that started in New Jersey and now also has locations in Ontario (Canada), Massachusetts, Pennsylania, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and Texas. Prateek's local Eggmania operates out of a vacant lot with a food truck trailer, which only recently moved to this location. They are starting with the truck but I see a beautiful brick and mortar restaurant space in their future. Plus their setup with shade, seating and even fun board games, is pretty sweet. Prateek was really friendly, his passion for food and his business was unmistakable and I'm really rooting for him and his partners. Plus this isn't charity- like their story, their food is awesome.

Wanted to try this place from a while. Finally got a chance to try on Wednesday evening. We were the only ones there at 5pm and wasn't sure if place was open. Ordered lasun keema based on the recommendation, owner did mention it will be spicy. And it had a lot of masala's and tasted well, but my system couldn't take a lot of it. Paneer sandwich was good to offset the spices. Masala half fry was decent, but was too oily for my taste

Eggmania is a popular food truck in Sunnyvale, specializing in Indian street-style, egg themed dishes. It's located near other food trucks in the area (Everest Momo) and is close by the Indian grocery store, Apni Mandi. This business accepts Apple Pay as well. The owners are super nice and involved with their customer base. They were having a game night collaboration with owners of desi created board game group as a way to engage the community. The creators of the board games advertised and encouraged customers to play Desi Feud (a twist on family feud) and Raja Manthri Chor Siphai. Additionally, the food truck was well decorated and relatively neat inside. There's a few tables to eat on outdoors but are mostly used to play board games as well. Parking in the area is relatively easy as there's many lots nearby the food truck too. The food itself was flavorful and packed with heat. We ordered 2 popular dishes which were highly recommended by the owner and the chili guava beverage. The egg peri peri sandwich was an 8/10 - it was pressed well, there was a good ratio of filling to bread, and the flavor was balanced with the eggs. The Leela Lasun Keema wasn't my favorite but it is highly rated. The shredded egg curry was spicy, served with 3 buttery slices of toasted white walmart bread - I'd rate it a 5.5/10. The chili guava drink was refreshing and is comparable to hajmola flavored pani puri water. You get a free salted brownie bite by reviewing on Google/Yelp and 10% off your next order if you follow them on Insta. Overall, the vibe was good and was a great one-time experience in Sunnyvale since it was a little expensive for a food truck/the quantity of food. I'd recommend it to someone looking for an after work bite with their co-workers or someone new to the Bay Area looking to make desi friends.

Tried this place on a hot sunny day and the wait for 10-15 min is worth, the food (masala omelette and Bombay grill sandwich- egg masala). The masala omelette is really tasty and hit the proper indian street food flavor, for less spice eaters, the egg masala sandwich is a must try one. I usually eat spicy but want to try the less spice one just to get that experience of blend in spices in the egg masala. Parking is very hard to find, I think evenings it gets packed as they live music and lot board games around to hang out with friends.

Went here during lunch on a weekday. It was not busy at all. Me and my spouse had a relaxing delicious meal together. Menu choices are all scrumptious, with ample choices for vegetarians. We ordered Paneer roll and paneer peri peri sandwich. They were made fresh and came in nice and hot. Both had a good spice level so order accordingly. The hosts were very welcoming and served us timely. Kathiawadi chai there is also a must order. It went very well with the food combo. Seating is also nice comfortable.

I got to know from a friends Instagram story and decided to visit. On a Friday evening at 830pm the order wait time in person was about 1hr 15mins with plenty people lined up. When i placed the order, there were 20 orders before me. One thing you need to do before visiting this place is to order through their website or doordash(could'nt find it but people were picking through doordash) and not come directly thinking to order, it'll save you a good one hour of anticipation. There was good music playing in background. I ordered the below: 3/5 Leela Lasun Kachu - ordered this based on past reviews. This was flavorful medium spicy but was too salty for taste. Served with bread slices but bun would go better here. 3/5 Surti Gotala - This was extremely spicy for even Indian standard that dominated this dish making it hard to appreciate. The sale was bit less on this one. The flavors were overpowered due to the spice. Will not order this next time. Served with bread slices but bun would go better here. 5/5 Egg Peri Peri Sandwich - This was the best sandwich and highlight of the order. Definitely get this. There's plenty of other items I'm curious to try out. Will give other items a try next time. It's a good addition to foodtrucks.

Visited eggmania in Jersey city a few times a couple of years back and was happy to see a couple of the same items on the menu here (not sure if they are both related). The service was impeccable, extremely humble people with sense to service their customers well and it shows from the first interaction. Definite 5/5 for this. The place itself has some parking in the back behind the truck and they have a few tables under tent and additional standing space and board games and heaters for the cold winters. You order via a QR code and the food is brought out by the staff in under 10mins. Absolutely loved the Kathiawadi chai, it was not watered down like some of the other Indian places and had an amazing aroma to it and was sufficiently sweetened which balanced the masala chai. Now on to the food, I devoured the peri peri chicken sandwich, it was subtle in flavor and simple yet fulfilling. A bang for the buck. We also got the paneer volcano biryani, I wouldn't label it a biryani but it was flavored rice and was waaay too oily.

Turned up here quite accidentally and no regrets! The food was unique and delicious (the Lahori one was a little too spicy). The ambience was great, loved that they had board games to keep people occupied while they waited. What can be better - long wait times - I understand it's a truck so takes time but ... - spice level could be toned down a bit to make it appealing to more people - more seating Will definitely go back

The service is friendly. I like the environment that it offer some board games, so we xan play with friends & family while everyone enjoy the food. The foods taste delicious. It's not salty. This is an outdoor atmosphere. This place is located in a used car dealership. I would recommend food lover to try this food truck.

Located right off of N Saratoga ave, between hwy280 and Stevens Creek blvd, on the east aide of the street. You will find this gem in the evenings. This place has all the meats that a down foo was raised on, but my go to is always the Al Pastor! Perfectly marinated, huge portions, and even with the pineapple and sautéed onions deliver an amazing plate experience. Now what puts these guys a league above! You get to put your own choice of up to 3 different salsa's. Green and flavorful, orange habanero heat, or spicy red pepper goodness. Ample extras of radish, jalapeño, or onions and habanero slices for the folks who just have guts of steel. This place has such a following, there have been times when I was 10 people deep waiting in line to order. They are quick, yet always tasty. Give your tastebuds a treat!

They take card, but there's an up-charge for it. The order: Super Burrito (asada) $12: I'm not playing on the price, check the photos. Delicious burrito that was a nice size and excellent price point. The tortilla tasted so nicely toasted and had a crisp at the edges. Along with your choice of meat, the burrito has Spanish rice, avocado, onions, salsa, beans. What else do you need? The length was almost my entire forearm, might have been actually. I was also given two sauces: a cilantro green sauce and (chipotle maybe) a red sauce. I did not receive the orange sauce mentioned in other reviews. Remember to request what you'd like. The second time I went, they gave me red sauce and orange sauce. Minus 1 star because of slightly inconsistent quality. When I went the second time, the fillings were still great, but ratio was different than the first time. It made the burrito taste different, no crispiness. Still good, but seemed more like a mid burrito I wouldn't have been raving about. BUT I did go right before closing compared to right after opening, which I can understand could make a difference.
