We were even sitting at a table near the bar, which had potlights however, it was still dark. We were served by Nimrat, whom brought over our menus, and allowed us ample time to order our items. I had settled on butter chicken, with a side order of regular naan, and plain rice. The food took a bit long to arrive however, since there were seven in our group, I understood why the food took longer to prepare. However, once the food came, I was very happy with how delicious everything was! The butter chicken came in a large dish, which was placed on top of a small pot with a flame inside, which kept the butter chicken hot during my entire visit; this was a great addition to the meal! The naan was an excellent accompaniment, along with the plain rice; everything was well-prepared, with the perfect amount of flavouring. It also wasn't spicy, which is perfect for my taste buds; this chef definitely knows how to cook an excellent meal! Nimrat checked on us regularly, filling our glasses with water, and taking away any dishes that we had finished with. Even the owner came by to greet us, and ask how we were enjoying everything. Overall, this place had excellent food, with wonderful service provided by Nimrat, and beautiful décor. The only thing that I didn't like was the lighting however, I would definitely come back.

When dining in, you can clearly hear how he speaks to his employees. New staff members are often brought in for two or three days of work, but he does not pay them for the hours they've completed. Several young Indian students, in particular, are left unpaid, and it appears he takes advantage of their student status to exploit their labour. It's extremely disappointing to see someone treat members of their own community this way. I am 100% sure Mr. Kapoor is not aware of this type of behavior. For appetizers tried the chilly crispy potatoes, the paneer bao and the vada croissant. The potatoes were good but the bao and vada were excellent. Both were unique fusion takes on traditional dishes. We all really enjoyed them. For mains we had the dal makhani, mango bindi masala, methi malai paneer and vegetable jalfrezi. All were very good. Each has their own unique aspect. The dal was served with a buttery foam, the methi paneer was a a nice change from other more common paneer dishes, the mango added a subtle sweetness to the okra which I never would have imagined together, and the vegetable jalfrezi was a little sweeter and still very tasty. Each of the dishes was spiced uniquely from one another and each tasted very good. Overall, this was an excellent experience. Highly recommend it.
