It's one of the best ramen broths I've ever had! I'll admit it was a little strange to see cilantro in top of ramen, but it worked. There was also shredded cabbage, negi/leeks, carrots and smoky tofu. The soup was super decadent and creamy with a deep shiitake flavor. I don't know how they got this broth so good but I was sure not to let it go to waste. I finished as much of it as I could. The bf ordered the KOJO Chicken Ramen. The chicken was tender and lightly grilled on the outside for extra umami. There was a nice balance of veggies and the egg was a bit overdone for a ramen egg but was fine for his preferences. We also shared the veggie roll. It was pretty simple and tasted as you would expect. Call it blasphemy but I loved the ramen broth so much I dipped the sushi in the broth instead of shoyu. Bluetail sushi is actually just as good as any sushi Vancouver. It's just as fresh and just as delicious. The salmon did not have a strong fishy aftertaste which I found most Kelowna sushi joints have (it's telling of the quality of the fish they have). I really loved the tuna oshi and their negitoro rolls are pretty delectable! I'm pretty happy with my dining experience and I will definitely come back.
