Mom's baking made our wedding cake, and it was so good! We especially loved the white/vanilla cake with the raspberry filling on the bottom layer, absolutely delicious. We didn't have any extra flowers to decorate the cake with so we asked for fruit to decorate it and think it came out beautiful! My partner likes fruit (especially on tarts) anyway so this was perfect for us, plus our main wedding color was burgundy/red. The cake was also beautiful and we enjoyed having it for a few days after the wedding (hint: leftover wedding cake can be a good way to start the day, hehe). We came back and had lunch as newlyweds and enjoyed a yummy panini and cup of coffee in the cafe a few days after we got married. How amazing is this quaint little place! A very relaxed environment conducive to getting work done, group meetings, or just chatting with a friend. They have a wonderful caffeine menu, serving LaVazz brand (I believe it is spelled?). I was very pleased I was able to get an almond milk latte and that my G free boyfriend was able to find something gluten free. The almond milk latte was perfect. Perfectly smooth espresso with a great espresso-to-milk ratio. I was offered a single or double shot and opted for the single. My boyfriend got the Chai Tea Latte and enjoyed it - not too sweet and not too spiced! They do also have non-caffeinated beverages. My boyfriend got the bacon egg wrap, which was bacon, egg, a bunch of cheese, and a hash brown. All in a gluten-free wrap with green Chile salsa. He was very pleased, especially with the addition of the hash brown in the wrap. Their kitchen is open and the staff (possibly the owner took our order?) are very friendly. Mom's Baking is one of the FAVORITE places my wife and I go to whenever we get to Breckenridge! The staff is awesome and the pastries are outstanding. We just got back from a short visit to Breckenridge and were able to enjoy breakfast - including very nice cappuccinos - only once. It saddened us because in early visits (before COVID) we were used to stopping in EVERY DAY when we lodged in Breckenridge. (READ: this is a nice place!!!). On a separate note, if you happened to come across a less than positive review of Mom's Baking, posted on June 26 of this year by someone named Jason K, I would kindly suggest you ignore it and him. In visiting with other merchants in Breckenridge we found that many of them were negatively reviewed by this guy. Sorry, visitors to Breckenridge, but you're going to find very few - if ANY - shop owners or their employees who rate zero/one star. p.s. This was a cute little coffee shop on the corner (a little hard to find though because the map doesn't show it's accurate location). The shop is large, bright, and very cute! They have an assortment of baked items and different coffees. We had a cappucino and two lattes to go and they were both good. However, the honey cake we had was soo good! What a lovely spot to grab a quick breakfast or afternoon pick me up in Breck! After hearing about their savory breakfast pastries - something I have never had - I knew I had to stop by. I ordered the veggie and the breakfast pastry. They were both awesome, but I recc the breakfast offering if you have to choose - they taste like a delicious breakfast casserole with the added bonus of a flaky pastry, served warm. The latte was also great, and perfectly blended so the espresso wasn't too harsh. On my way out, I grabbed an apple pastry that included some apple jam wedged between two soft baked cookies which was ever so satisfying. I really want to return to try their Matcha Cheesecake... I had breakfast yesterday with a friend. I had the breakfast burrito and he had a breakfast bagel sandwich. The burrito was good hower it was very small and super duper expensive. Over $17 for the buttito. Thats just out of control. Maybe if it was big and filling but it was about the size of a frozen burito from 7-11. My friend had the breakfast bagel but again it was over $16 and was small. Over $16 for a breakfast bagel ? Really ? I compare all breakfast bagels in the county to Butterhorn. The Butterhorn breakfast bagel is HUGE and excellent and about $7.50. You folks at Moms should go to the Butterhorn in Frisco and order any of the breakfast wraps on a bagel. It blows yours away in size and flavor and at LESS than 1/2 of the price of yours. Maybe the tourists dont care about price gouging, but the locals do !! The food quality was good but the prices on these items is offensive. I wont be buyig food there again because the pricing is just stoooopid expensive. read more

This place is amazing. It's adorable and you feel like you are in a European cafe. Let's talk about the food. First, the almond croissant was the best croissant I have ever had in my life. It would win on the great British baking show. Amazing. They serve lavazza coffee and espresso and clearly know what they are doing.
