I cannot say anything bad about this place. Top notch cleanliness, top notch friendly customer service, and they carry such a great variety of organic products, even in a smaller space. I love trying their free coffee samples too in the back. My only frown would be that the juice bar is going away. I loved getting the Apple juice called The Chill... but hindsight, they will be gaining some more square footage. But I'm still sad. Oh well! read more

The beauty aisle takes me to my happy place because it smells sooo good and calming and the beautifully colored produce upon entrance is very inviting. After years of patronizing this business, I will be looking for alternatives. I just spoke to an employee in the supplements department who refused to assist me with holding two products aside. I explained that I am in a postoperative recovery state after abdominal surgery. She said "We have plenty on the shelf. You can walk in and get it." Well, no, I can't without significant discomfort! Horrible conversation. Amendment to my one star review: About 10 or 15 minutes after that horrible conversation, an angel named Cheryl called me. My favorite organic grocery, plenty of great options that I think are better than Whole Foods. Things are pricey, yet, but they are quality, and worth it. I shopped here for years until I moved 3 years ago. I was visiting the area yesterday and stopped by to purchase some supplements. A really nice Moms lady assisted me with picking out a topical to help with a bad case of poison ivy I've had for over a week. She suggested "All Good Goop", and that is what I purchased. I put it on my "spots" three times yesterday, and today they are unbelievably better and it has completely stopped the itching. I really appreciate the helpful knowledge I get from the Moms people every time I shop. I miss the store and wish there was one in the Martinsburg WV area. read more

For a conscientious vegan (in diet as well as in choice of household, hygiene & beauty products) it truly does not get better than MOM's Organic Market for variety and availability of all things animal / planet friendly . Beautifully laid out with wide isles and well-stocked shelves, the vibe is crunchy with an actual mission of bettering people / planet (unlike some so-called health food stores). The staff here are so welcoming and knowledgeable . You can tell they are appreciated by their employer. It's just a sadness that the nearest one to my house is 1 & 1/2 hours away. This makes shopping here a little urgent when I'm in town and can grab all the vegan favorites not available in any other grocery store I have access to on the regular. read more

This market has A LOT of organic everything's. They provide free coffee in the back near their bakery for customers. The coffee was ok.. not typically to my liking, but free is free when shopping. There is a free book library behind the cash register by the window!! Service is good, they're more than willing to walk you to the aisle of what you're looking for. Sour berries, aren't they the worst? One bite and it's enough to put you off antioxidant boosting foods for an entire year. At Mom's Organic Market, bad berries do not exist. I do not know how they achieve this but every single clamshell I've received, no matter what the season, is vibrantly colored, juicy, and sweet! Not only that, they last longer and don't have the weird mold that grows within the package -- totally worth the extra bucks I have to throw down because I know that every single berry will be consumed with delight by my family. The prices could be much worse, and I think even the Amazon-owned version of Whole Foods is more expensive on average. They have nice specialty products - personally, this is not where I would do my everyday shopping. Some highlights: - Both Jenni's AND Van Leeuwen in the freezer. This is dangerous for me. - Good selection of artisan cheeses -Specialty drinks like wellness shots, juices, and Ollipop soda -Every type of weird European yogurt you could ever want -Nice frozen meals that have actual nutritional value - Gluten-free pasta -- picked up some noodles made from Lupini beans to try -Fresh artisan bread And the list goes on. What a cute little store. Everything is well laid out and they have a great selection. I picked up a bottle of organic Merlot and a few other things. It was fantastic! Prices were a bit on the high end, but that's what you expect when you shop at a natural grocer. Mom's organic market is more than you can imagine. Order takeout lunch or dinner at the "Naked Lunch' kitchen inside then pick up your groceries. Sip a bit of coffee (free) while they slice to order your fresh bread. A wide variety of foods and they even have last minute gift ideas--pick up an adorable wool bird house or luxury soap. 9/21/22 On 9/18/22 we stopped by The MOM'S Store to pick up vitamins for my wife. My wife noticed that not long ago, you couldn't bring in your own personal bag because of The Coronavirus. Now you are free to use your own bag(s) or use MOM'S own paper bags for $.05 cents a bag. The store wasn't too busy except in certain areas. Still, it was nice to see the store so well stocked and organized. We found the vitamins my wife needed and when Saturday rolls around, I might just get something for me. I did like the unisex clothing this time around. I was very tempted to buy them since the colors were a heather grey color. The shirt had more of a feminist side to the shirt, but it is still a unisex shirt. I might go back for them on Friday if they are still there in my size. Pitty I didn't take a picture of them. I came in for a Smoothie until the friendly guy behind the counter tempted me with the Buffalo Style (not mini) Tacos. I ended up eating all three back to back & only cost me $9. As with my casual visits to my local store, the customer service here is easy & positive. This location is put together a little better, yet still offers all the inventory of fresh/organic produce, an abundance of Vegan items, wine/beer & non-food essentials. For the cleaner food options you are not spending a boat load of money either, perhaps a dollar or more than the regular grocery chains. Hubby and I ordered cauliflower tacos and Madhya Bowl and both were so good we kept sharing one another plate. The cauliflower tacos had a great sauce but it was not over powering and you could taste all the flavors. The Madhya was large and fulfilling with great fresh flavors. Service has gone to ruin. I came in to replace a five-gallon plastic jug that had somehow cracked. They used to offer free warranty replacement on these, but no more. So I pulled down a new one off the shelf (could have used some staff help with that, but he didn't offer), tried to fill it and found the filters water faucet wasn't working. The customer service people seemed more interested in chatting with each other than in responding to this problem. I went to the front and asked for a manager, whose entire response was "Thank you for your feedback." I've been a steady customer for maybe ten years, but I will not return. read more

Really, really bad customer service. No clue who is in charge of hiring people here but they really need to fire the short guy with brown hair. He was yelling at a woman because she was drinking water inside. She briefly pulled down her mask but she put it right back on after. It was hard to watch her shaking and scared like that. Everyone else in the store turned and looked because the guy was so loud. Health safety is super important at this time but I am going to need to go somewhere less abusive. This store is unique for vegan options,including but not limited to deserts and nice produce. There was at one time a sign on the Mosaic Mom's Market door that read "Be nice or shop somewhere else!" But a times, I've gotta wonder, does this apply to the cashiers as well? Most of the staff is friendly most of the time, but occasionally you run into a cashier with an axe to grind who doesn't get the customer service ethic. Are people who wear red flannel somehow not supposed to shop here?? If you're not the same generation, gender, or appearance, well, you'd better be ready to accommodate! I absolutely love MOM's Organic Market. I can find certain produce here that Whole Foods sometimes don't have. Today I bought a pound of grass fed ground beef along with organic ground lamb in sausage shape(great for grilling). My friend introduced me to these pudding that comes in small jar, vanilla, dark chocolate & salted caramel.. yum. Can't wait to try. This place have chick peas in a jar. I usually get the carton ones from Whole Foods but today at mom's, chick peas in a jar. :) I also grabbed few healthy treats along limited edition Puffins cereal in pumpkin(made with real pumpkin) SO DELICIOUS. This was my first time visiting MOM's at the Mosaic. The grocery store itself is very cute and quaint, with wooden shelves and a modest selection of produce, bulk items, raw/sustainable food, dairy, frozen foods, wellness items (homeopathic, etc.), and lotions/fragrances. I came here specifically to look for their line of organic Creamline milk, which supposedly received high ratings in terms of taste and quality. They didn't have quart or half-gallons, but only gallon sizes available. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the milk was, as it was thick, creamy, had a slight zippity tang to it, and lovely with your choice of breakfast cereal or to wash down a dessert treat. Governor Northam's mandatory face mask executive order goes onto place tomorrow WITH EXEMPTIONS for people with a medical condition which makes the order a risk to personal health, people who are exercising, and people who are eating or drinking. It also leaves the wearing of a face mask for a minor up to parental discretion with no legal enforcement or harassment over the issue allowed. Children are not to be penalized in anyway whatsoever for not wearing a mask per Governor Northam. People do NOT have to disclose what the medical condition is, just that they have one. If you refuse service to a person with a medical condition who is not wearing a face mask, you will be discriminating based on that medical condition, regardless of your store policy. That is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, so educate yourselves and your employees or prepare to face lawsuits! Please understand that simply wearing a face mask increases an individual's (the wearer's) pathogen load, because you expose yourself in an enclosed space to all the viruses and bacterial antibodies inside your own body--and EVERYONE has Coronavirus in their body. Store is cool, reminds me of the "Mother's Market" we have back home in CA. Lots of healthy organic food options for people with diet restrictions. As someone who travels 250 days a year ( I'm a musician and AVT), it's places like these that are hard to come by. The highlight of my visit was the kid working this stores kitchen/restaurant; his name was Austin and not only was he very knowledgeable about what the kitchen had to offer, he made a killer suggestion that I am very pleased with at the moment while I eat it. I think it's people like Austin that exemplify what truly is "genuine customer service", I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up owning a very successful business himself one day or perhaps he owns this store? 5 stars, look forward to coming back. read more

The staff hate their jobs, Naked Lunch has continuously gone downhill (in quality, but mostly service from staff). WTF?! Safeway, Wegman's & Giant, here I come.
