Found this place on Yelp- called and made a same day appt which was really amazing. Appt was at noon- but didn't get seen until about 12:10/15- no biggie because I was out of there by 1:45pm. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome of my lashes. It's only been a few hours but I don't have any burning from the glue and my eyes aren't red. Naturally my lashes are long and heavy- camel lashes- she blended the extensions with mine and you can't tell where they start and stop. Made my fill appt before I left - I've got to keep these up they look and feel so great. The girl who did them was really nice and took time to find out what look I wanted to achieve with the lashes. Monica is a true lash artist. I have been to several lash places but she is by far the best out there. She has a true talent and customizes lashes to your eye shape and preference. What also really impressed me is how fast she works but that does not compromise quality. My lashes last for over three weeks and still look amazing. I have gotten many compliments about them. Since going to Monica I noticed an immediate difference in my eyelash extensions - they do not irritate me anymore, there is absolutely no glue on the lash line, they are weightless, and so natural looking! In terms of pricing, she is also the most affordable around. She does not upcharge for 3 week fills. I was paying $10-15 more at other places. I was reading a recent Yelp review that attacked Monica and her business practices and this made me very angry. We moved to this area 4 years ago. My daughter (20 at the time) choose Mon Mon as THE place to have her nails done. Every time she is home she goes in every few weeks for gel or straight up polish. Always a good experience... until her last visit. We were going to be at a wedding so she called ahead WEEKS BEFORE from the East Coast to be sure that both of us (mother/daughter) would be able to get our nails done together. It was a big deal as she was only home for a couple of days. She scheduled the appointment for 4PM as she works remotely until 3-3:30. The day of our appointment we received a call at 3:15 asking if we "were there are we coming?". She reminded them she is working and the appointments were for 4PM. They asked could she come sooner. We got there as soon as we could... only to find they had NOT MADE the TWO appointments. HUGE bummer. I (the mom) work too and had arranged for the time to do this and the wedding was out of town in two days AND it was our only together time. Super annoying! I left to try to get work done so I could come in by myself the next afternoon at a time they choose. While my daughter was having her nails finished the owner, Monica, apologized for all the confusion and said "she would do your mother's nails for free tomorrow". My daughter thanked her more than once and said that it was super nice of them to do that. I was only going to get a pedi and clean/cut but not polish my fingers. When I arrived the next day I had my nails cleaned and a simple pedi done. The man doing them (Long Q. I think) said it was $65. I began to feel embarrassed assuming he didn't know it was a free service to make up for all the confusion with scheduling the day before (although he was there the day before and heard the offer). I reminded him super politely what Monica had said. His reply was to laugh and say "what was said yesterday, she only kidding."! I said I don't think so and he said yes "she was only kidding, $65." I had only brought enough for a good tip... he said Venmo me. There were at least 2-3 other customers there and it was REALLY embarrassing as I looked like I had made it all up. Long went down the hall to speak to someone and came back laughing and saying again "just joking you pay $65.". When I told my daughter she was furious. She has gone there many, many times and referred them to everyone. Neither of us will EVER go there again and will spread the word that their scheduling is a nightmare and their word is worth nothing. read more

OMG!! Where have you been all my life, Mon Mon?! I walked into Mon Mon looking like less-of-a-human and then this place completely transformed me!! There are two miracles that I got done here: lashes and nails (refer to pictures that I posted for Nail designs). She has performed a miracle on my "desert-looking" lashes into full, voluminous, long luscious lashes that are much better and comfortable than fake lashes! It has literally changed how I feel about myself, and makes me feel at ease that I don't have to worry about make up fill ins getting whipped off, or disappearing through out the day. I had Monica do a powder eyebrow treatment in October 2018. The cost was $475. This included a touch up in early November. I was dissatisfied with the result on my right eyebrow where I had approximately an eighth of an inch where I had plucked too much and this area needed to be filled in but after the treatment it looked like a smudge of black in that area. I was referred by my aesthetician. She spoke to Monica and advised me to get another touch up and have Monica micro blade the area. Monica did another quick touch up and charged me $100. There was no improvement in the area. I have had micro blading before and it lasted for over 2 years and only cost $350. In all I paid Monica $600. It's been only 6 months and $600 with unacceptable results. I called Monica to tell her and she offered to do another treatment and said she wouldn't charge me this time but my time is valuable to me and why waste anymore? I had been there 3 times. Monica contacted me after reading my review and said she's very interested in customer service and satisfaction. She wanted the opportunity to help me be satisfied and the end result is acceptable. read more
