Yes, it's touristy, but it's where you go after dinner when you're not ready to go home and want to…read morebe entertained or dance. As soon as you walk in, the senses are going off. There's an intense dynamic of action throughout this joint- upstairs and downstairs. There's professional performers on the center bar top. Walk to the back and there's another live performance complete with more dancers and singing with a dance floor at the stage. What's upstairs? There is DJ dancing - popular high energy music. The drinks are definitely expensive, but that is to be expected in South Beach. The only complaint is the bartenders I visited on the bottom floor to the left bar in the back and upstairs in the DJ room looked like they did not want to be there. Perhaps, this place is too wild for a continuous eight hour shift? Who knows. The jovial atmosphere in this place makes you forget quickly though. I think I stayed here until 2am dancing my ass off. I had a colorful evening and would definitely return! - maybe the dinner and show experience?

Then, when I received my bill, there was an additional $0.25 'health insurance' charge. The amount isn't the issue--it's the principle. Costs like employee health insurance should be built into prices, not added as surprise fees. To make matters worse, when I asked about the charge, the server couldn't explain what it was or why it was being added, so I left with more questions than answers. Between the cover charge, unexpected fees, and lack of transparency, the whole experience felt like a tourist trap. Customers deserve clear pricing and straightforward explanations of any charges before they're added to the bill.

My sister was having a great time. Meanwhile, I was just trying to catch up to the plot. The venue is definitely an experience -- high energy, memorable, and not exactly what you expect if you walk in unaware. The atmosphere is over-the-top Miami in the best and most chaotic way. Not my typical night out, but I have to give credit where it's due: Eleven delivered exactly the kind of unforgettable experience Miami is known for.

It was super crowded, but that was expected given the people performing that night. The girls were a little overbearing, but I gave in to a very beautiful Hispanic girl and she took me back to VIP. When we get into this little room she asked if I wanted any shots and I said yes, she told one of the servers to bring us some shots and they brought a small tray of tequila shots. She had her back turned towards me before she gave me my shot, after that I don't remember anything. Im sure she put something in my drink. A buddy of mine was waiting for me and said after 15 mins the curtains were open but I was nowhere to be found. By the grace of God I somehow managed to get back to the place we were staying, but my wallet and phone were stolen. I can see how this club could be fun and exciting, and I was somewhat enjoying myself until this happened, but I just didn't have the best experience. If you go, just be cautious.

It was…read morewell-organized with reserved tables in a separate upstairs lounge w/ our placards on table, and it was nice to know we don't have to keep eye out or keep looking for tables like regular clubs since we don't really drink. Alex our instructor was fun, engaging, and an intelligent instructor that broke the dances down for even beginners to follow easily. We first had bachata lesson at 8pm, followed by complimentary mojito and Cuban bites, then wrapped up with salsa lesson at 9:20pm. I wished salsa lesson was a full hour, followed by more fun salsa dancing with instructor dancing alongside (you know, cuz regular student folks won't keep dancing salsa on their own without pros' boosting presence) because afterwards everyone pretty much stopped dancing salsa after the last song after lesson ended. Then it was regular club time. Good vibe and we had fun. The wristband we got allowed free entry to the club downstairs so we could enjoy the cabaret performance and backstage live music band a bit too. Overall I would recommend Alex and Salsa Mia without any reservation for anyone with an open mind looking to have a good dancing time! Try it - don't be scared as there's no need to be! Gracias Alex!

I loved the setting - Mango Cafe is a vibrant and fun place - the class takes place in a side room on the second floor. We had 15-20 people, and the space was starting to get tight, but bearable. Appetizers were tasty, and enough for a couple of helpings. For the free drink, they accommodated the request for a virgin mojito. Includes a wristband for Mango Cafe entry after 10:00p (they close at 5:00a). Highly recommend the class, it's a great value.
