First time at LIV and service was top tier ! From the moment we got there greeted by our amazing host Tiffany who escorted us to our table where we met more awesome staff. They security greeted us and told us they had us covered for the night and also the amazing wait staff who were extremely attentive and efficient. My friend's high heal broke and Tiffany took charge and somehow managed to glue it back together and saved the night. Amazing to see such team work to ensure a great guest experience. Okay I haven't been to LIV before but it's a first time for everything and I am glad I finally got to see it with my own eyes! On first glance I thought it was smaller than I expected it to be. It has two floors with a bunch of space but at the same time didn't feel huge for being all it's talked up to be. The lighting system and sound system is amazing though and so are the variety of bars they have which I counted four different ones throughout. They offer a bunch of different artists everyday it's open with big name headliners there quite frequently. I thought the whole vibe was electric but I don't know if I would go back and instead I'd prefer to just check out a club elsewhere. It's especially hard to find parking since it's in the fountaineblue so keep that in mind. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you should see it once in your life but I wouldn't say it requires a repeat visit personally read more

If you're staying at the Fontainebleau, LIV is a no-brainer if you like the headliner- you couldn't ask for an easier journey home after a night of dancing. The club has a great vibe and energy once you're inside. That said, the setup leaves a bit to be desired if you don't have a table. The general admission area is tiny, and it can be tough to find a comfortable spot to enjoy the show. We were lucky to make it to the front, but if you step out for the restroom, there's a good chance the bouncers won't let you return to the front due to crowd control. Tip: The line outside is crazy long if you don't pre-purchase tickets. We were so glad we bought ahead of time, as they do not allow online sales the night of - so plan accordingly! On the plus side, the sound system is excellent, and the smaller size of the venue gives it a more intimate feel if you manage to get close to the stage. I have seen Sofi Tukker a few times but this time at LIV was one of the best ones, if not the best. LIV's setting, audio, bars and crowd are much better than what you find at Space for instance. It's a different experience even when you have the same DJ. This was my second time at LIV and I enjoyed it overall. I wished security was a bit friendlier, they prioritize people on the table areas and yes while I understand they are more profitable, there is no need to almost attacking people verbally or pushing. So my gf wanted a true Miami nightlife experience, so after some research we found out that Steve Aoki was performing and got tickets. Getting there and getting in was quite easy and fast. We were hoping that there was restaurant still open at the hotel, but no dice. We got in and got in line for drinks and the prices were a bit out there, but we took the plunge. The club is very limited in space for ppl that do not have a VIP area. Thankfully we were able to find a good vantage point and enjoy the show. First off, I thought me and my girls were gonna be the old aunties in the club and immediately to my relief, it was all good. The crowd is a combo of vacationers, locals and celebs so yeah, was a great mix. It costs a lil change to enter but if you wanna be able to say you went, pay up lol! No seating unless you pay for a section so choose your footwear accordingly. The music is hit or miss depending on your preference as the dj has the tough job of satisfying such a mixed crowd but nonetheless we got some moves in. The best part was the dancers. Great experience! We went here to see ALOK was so good however I do recommend getting a table. I feel like the reason why the service and ambience and everything was amazing. It's because we had our own table so if you have a party of six with equal amount of male and female ( i know kinda an annoying rule) then maybe 1700 is worth it comes with a couple bottles and they're open till five I believe so it's totally worth it!!! Great nite club inside the Fountain Bleu Hotel Miami Beach. We had a chance to visit on a stay at the hotel as guests of a friend . We came early and almost left as didn't realize things don't start up till after 11 pm. As we exited , our friends who were working as bouncers requested we return since it was about to get really started. Within a few minutes later, as the DJ started , the lights started flashing and everyone started filming the DJ we realized how special the night was about to be . Lighting and design was top tier! There is no outdoor area, only indoors. If you arrive early for concerts, just know it feels like an ice box until people pack in. I went to see Two Friends for my friend's birthday. The music and performances were awesome. Homegirl in the purple ball gown needed to hide her Nike shorts underneath though. Ruined the illusion. Here is where I had issue: online it stated you had to wear heels, if you were a girl. Which I think is ridiculous. Requiring dress shoes I get. There are nice flats/wedges/etc. that could fit the bill. But heels?! Some of us want to walk by the end of the night! I also got stepped on by other girls with said heels because the concert was so packed. This happened multiple times. Great club for large groups! This is a 2-story club with bars on both floors. The drinks are pretty pricey but this club is inside of a HOTEL! And like every place in Miami Beach there is gratuity already included when purchasing your over priced drinks. My tip is to pre-game before you arrive ( take an Uber, don't drink an drive!) Like most clubs they have tables/booths for paying patrons, starting as low as $1,500...WILD!!! Their website is very user-friendly so check out who is scheduled to perform or DJ. The layout of the club is super weird and I can agree with other Yelpers that the dance floor is super tiny. Even if you have a table, people are LITERALLY standing up on the seats and ledges, ummm safety hazard? I did NOT have a problem getting in, we purchased tickets online and entry was smooth. Paid hundreds for a table and night to see Carti, and within 20 minutes our night was ruined. A man harassed our friend, pressed up on her, and knocked her drink on her feet. Security guard showed up, ignored the situation, and kicked her out without listening. I recently visited Club LIV in Miami with two friends for my birthday and had a very unpleasant experience. While the venue is impressive, the security staff was extremely aggressive. We were just three girls, not causing any trouble we were trying to get on the dance floor , but I was pushed by a security guard multiple times. When I finally started filming with my phone, he backed off. It felt like they prioritized the VIP area over regular guests and it is acceptable and we didn't know . However, it's never acceptable for a security guard to lay hands on a women and push you repeatedly especially when the dance floor is so crowded. The club is LARGE in terms of the bar, booths and multiple restrooms. But the dance floor is small and crowded. It's in between booths so you're bound to get pushed around if you're in the middle of the dance floor. The girls and I were hoping to see Roddy Rich on 10/20 but it was nearly 3:30am and he hadn't come out. So they aren't kidding when they say Miami parties late. Expect to be in the clubs until 5am-6am if you're waiting for peak hours. We would've stayed and hung out, but the opening DJ's were terrible. The first one was playing the songs for too long and not mixing well. He also played Ed Sheeran at one point...at the club? Like what in the world. I felt like I was at a high school dance. The other DJ kept talking. I bought my tickets two hours before the event ONLY bc I was bored, attending this club was on my bucket list and I am currently staying at the Fontainebleau after visiting the Bahamas and Mexico. I went with my husband to check out some Puerto Rican artist I don't really know (Jhayco?) on a random Thursday. The general admission early arrival price for one male and female was about $152 ($12 for insurance ). We ordered four shots in the club and it was $120! The VERY small main dance floor was already packed by 12:30am....I simply lifted my arm and accidentally elbowed a girl in the head. My two main gripes are the overly pushy, tudey bouncers and the outrageous prices. I recall stumbling slightly bc I tripped on the little rope stand base and ever so slightly brushed against the rope that sections off the dance floor to the VIP section bc the floor is so crowded and a bouncer comes out of nowhere motioned for me to back up off the rope. It was an accident. Instead of asking if I was okay you're telling me to back up after I already had. Laughable. I danced for a bit then dipped. I had more fun going to sleep. IMO, this place is highly overrated. I knew it was already based on various reviews online but I decided to check it out. Also, why are y'all holding the ticketed line? If I paid $150 and I'm in line at 11:30pm, I shouldn't be standing and waiting for 20 mins when the club is not even full yet. Do better. In this time of economic uncertainty, I could def see this club also taking a hit like many of the Vegas clubs are (stayed in Vegas Fontainebleau earlier this year and it also was dry af ) . Went with friends to LIV to see Guccimane 4th of July 2021 weekend. Staying at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach was a great idea as the doors open at 9:00pm and the crazy long wait and lines were wrapped around the lobby and then to get into LIV. Super long wait but LIV doesn't disappoint, cool lights, multilevel and good dancing while waiting for the headliner. Drinks are crazy expensive and they are in the cheap plastic Hotel cups like in the rooms. Guccimane didn't show up till super late, I came I danced , I got the photos! read more

This was my first time at a Miami nightclub. I was expecting a terrible experience as per the other reviews, but it was actually not bad at all. It felt very similar to a Vegas nightclub, except you pretty much have to buy tickets to the event and can't just get in via a guest list. It's also inside a hotel, so it's super nice inside and simple to get an Uber to/from. The dress code is dress/heels as expected for Miami. The line to get in was really long, but it moved surprisingly fast. It's also all inside the hotel. We got there at midnight and were probably inside by 12:30. There are several floors to the club that looks onto the main dance floor. The main floor was gated by security for capacity, but it was pretty easy to get around lol. We didn't have any issues with the bouncers or security being rude, but some girls around the VIP tables would be angry if you stepped too close to their table - which is so easy to do since the floor is so crowded. The bathroom lines inside were very quick and reasonable so no complaints there. We got tickets for DJ Khaled ($80), but were disappointed that he didn't come on until 4 am. The DJs preceding him were really good though - it was mostly recent pop music. I wouldn't come back to see a specific artist in particular, since I think it's ridiculous that he comes out that late but the general vibes were good if you don't care about the artist. I will preface this review by saying I am a woman who ~usually~ comes into LIV through a promoter, so ~usually~ I do not pay for entry or drinks. FIRST THINGS FIRST - if you are coming into town and want to go to any clubs, PLAN AHEAD. This goes for every club in Miami. Either, 1) use a promoter to buy a table or get on guest list (for ladies only), or 2) buy tickets online. If you want to go into any club and do not do one of these two things, expect to pay $100 at the door, minimum. This can be avoided if you just plan ahead and buy a ticket online! To this day I do not understand why LIV is so popular. The space is WAY too small for the amount of people they pack in there. The "dance floor", aka GA section is TINY. It takes up probably 1/10th of the club and is packed body to body. If you buy entry at the door or tickets online, you will be expected to stand crammed in this tiny area the entire time. If you are in a table, you better stay there the whole night because coming onto the dance floor to be close to the artist is a miserable experience. There are security guards standing all around the dance floor pushing you back into the area like cattle if you accidentally step too close to the VIP tables. There are several promoter VIP tables around the dance floor that are overflowing with girls. The promoters bring in 20-30 girls and are given a table that fits 10, so the girls are crowded at the tables, and standing all around the tables in the GA area taking up a ton of space. The "stage" has no screens. There are no lasers or lights or visuals of any kind really. You will not be able to see the performer in the tiny booth/stage that is at LIV. I am not even going to comment on the price, because this is Miami. All clubs and bars are going to have "overpriced" drinks for a person traveling here from the midwest. That is just the price of Miami, so expect to pay $18-$30 per drink everwhere you go. Overall, this place is a hot spot for small Miami "celebs", but for your average person or tourist, I do not think it is worth the hype. If you do end up needing to buy entry at the door, you can usually haggle with the doormen. One time I negotiated my way down from a $200 entry fee to a $60 price. It depends how long you're willing to stand there, how nice you are, and what the artist is. Personally, I STRONGLY prefer their sister club, Story. Story has a much bigger GA section with room to dance and come and go from the dance floor. Insider tip- usually if Story is playing an EDM DJ one night, LIV will be doing a rap artist, and visa versa. So you can always go to whichever club is doing the music you like and do both of them on two different nights. The only reason I am leaving two stars is because I have had amazing experiences with some of the bartenders and people who pour your drinks at the tables. Also, the fontainebleau is incredible. If you don't want to go to LIV, you should stop there just to get a drink in their lobby and look at the incredible chandeliers! read more

This is my 2nd time and last. This club is overhyped because of the featured artists, their current rating is higher than they deserve. There is a general consensus that bouncers treat patrons who do not have a table like peasants. My partner and I spent $134 to "celebrate Rick Ross' bday, we came in around 12:30 am and left around 3am. I did not see a sign of Rick Ross, I'm not sure if they had him come up earlier or if they planned on keeping us waiting until 4 am. This place is miserable, save your money , have some dignity and don't pay to be treated like cattle, pushed around , packed like sardines, and endure wack DJs. Moving on to music, man, "DJdonthotl was all over the place, it appeared that most people were trying to have fun but we're just as dissatisfied as I was. The bartender had the audacity to check my card against my ID as If I was walking around without any money. I've been to a lot of clubs. This club sucks. So bad that I need to let you guys know. Embarrassing, literally half the dance floor is swallowed by VIP tables so chopped dudes in loafers can awkwardly sway next to $2,000 bottles and girls who don't want them. The bouncers...think of a power-tripping mall cop, maybe. They look at you like you murdered their family and act like you're a problem especially if you're not outwardly flashy/somewhat famous/displaying wealth. They are aggressive for ZERO reason and unnecessarily pushy - do not touch,push, or shove people, especially LADIES, who are just trying to walk, navigate the space and figure out where the hell they're allowed to walk and exist. Train your staff or get rid of them. Or perhaps that's the type of staff LIV wants in their low-class establishment. No rhythm or vibe in the crowd, just standard corny, rude, flashy Miami people with no crowd etiquette or connection to the music. The only good thing about this place was the music but dance floor is so tiny nestled in between VIP tables...packed so tight you can't even dance. Music sounds muffled if you're standing by the side bars. A lot of young kids who look underage. $28 drinks served in a small plastic cocktail glass, which includes a $4.95 "service charge" but doesn't include tip. LIV is the hottest club in Miami, it's like Vegas, there's always someone known on Friday & Saturday there. Not sure about regular clubbing since we came here for a bachelorette party and got bottle service. Bottle service is around $2500. We got goose magnum and a tequila bottle. The service was bottle service was pretty good. Our table was located on second floor overlooking the main dance floor. Many people would just sit on our couch but bouncers did a pretty good job moving people off our seats every hour or so. Definitely not like Vegas bottle service but good for Miami. Can't speak about cover or how much regular drinks costs, I'm sure it's super pricey. read more

Love the atmosphere. Everyone dressed to impress. The bottle girls were beautiful. Ordered 2 cocktails, average about $50. If you have a group of 5 or more, bottle service would be the better route.
