A total dive with delicious food, an amazing staff and great prices. This place is not for everyone but I liked it. There is a restaurant side and a bar side which has music and a pool table. Lots of regulars and a chill vibe. Run down. Yup. Bathrooms are ehhhh.....but the food is delicious. We had wings, lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. All delicious. Prices were so good and they have nightly specials. I will be returning. I feel it's the kind of place you go a couple of times and the staff will recognize you and say "Norm!" Or maybe my name. Great staff!

This is a local Pizza spot in Norfolk. The atmosphere is a family owned establishment, that treats their guest like family. I came in on Thursday for lunch with my son and tried their lunch specials $3 burger with a $1 slice of pizza for a guest. Now That's a great deal. The service was friendly and willing to serve. A great place to meet a friend, have a drink and watch a sports game. Parking lot is located to the left of restaurant towards the back.

$12.95 Friday special. Rib eye with 2 sides.

I was searching for an authentic Italian restaurant that's locally owned in Norfolk. Google took me here. I saw they had a special on Friday's, $12.95 rib eye with two sides. I was not disappointed! EVERY time I order my rib eye, Mike makes sure it's made the way I want, he knows what's he's doing back there! The lasagna was tasty and not over tasting of tomatoes. The portions of their food are on point! Crystal, Angel and Maymay (? Spelling) are very friendly. I give them a 10/10 for overall customer service, prices that are budget friendly and the food! This will be one of our regular spots when we want to get the "specials"! Come visit them! You won't be disappointed! And if you are, they know the owner. That's what their shirts say...

Do not bring kids here!! The parking lot is dark and sketchy. Check out the cardboard rest room sign with shared sink by the tile wall outside the actual potties. The problems have nothing to do with the staff. It is old and rundown and needs to be redone or rebuilt entirely. Staff was great, especially in what is essentially a hip hop club with an Italian joint attached to it. Sorry; it's just that simple. Photos tell the sad tale. Went there because it had 4 stars on Google (600+ reviews) for "restaurants open near me", after 8PM on a Saturday, after picking someone up at Norfolk airport. Long drive home to NC, and we were starving. Yelp stars were much lower, and I don't know why I didn't check that first. My bad. We walked up to the counter with the large menu and obviously the place to order from. No one came, and we finally asked one of the line cooks who directed us to "ask one of the girls", and pointed to the open doorway to the club, with its loud, thumping jams. Waitress is also one of the 2 bartenders in the very busy club, and she was as nice as she could be. (We left 100% tip for her.) Sis ordered a house cab, and we were told they had no red wine. So she ordered Pinot Grigio, and were told they were out of white wine too. "Do you have any wine?" "No, they don't come til next week". Why didn't she just say that instead of this little banter? Anyhoo... "Can the full bar make a martini?" "We're out of olive juice too." Head slap. Sis ordered a cosmo, and the photo shows the multiple lipstick stains on the glass, which the waitress then transferred to plastic after a while when sis complained. Food was fine, but essentially, if you make it past the doorway and decide to stay, then the food is really irrelevant.

Flavorless Cannoli

I really hesitate to give bad reviews unless I find something to be completely outrageous or didn't enjoy anything. I hesitate because I can imagine how hard it is to keep a business open. However, as a customer working hard for their money as well, I don't want to feel I have wasted it. Unfortunately the food we ordered for delivery was not good at all! I ordered the shrimp alfredo which comes with a breadstick & a cannoli for dessert. My husband ordered cheese pizza. Upon opening pasta with a decent amount of sauce on top & completely unseasoned plain shrimp. I mean, it's a restaurant. You couldn't Sautee those suckers a little bit? Seriously, they just thawed and tossed a few in. So you get no flavor from anything but the very plain alfredo sauce. Then I opened the breadstick... it's dry & overcooked. I had a sweet tooth, and I was really hoping for something better with the cannoli. After all, the online menu says it's made to order. Nope- fried bland crust filled with some weird bland white mouse with a few almost nonexistent specks of chocolate in it. It had a chalky aftertaste, so I didn't finish that either. My husband said the pizza lacked flavor. One positive is that the restaurant packaged the food for takeout very well. I appreciated the extra effort to wrap the containers so that no liquid would leak out. That's the only positive I can scrape up. So disappointing. I was exhausted today but would've been better off just cooking myself.

This is a really divey, hole-in-the-wall type of place. The side you walk into is for regular dining, and then a doorway to the other side leads to the bar and pool table. The "party side", you could call it. Came here for the second time the other night because I remember the Stromboli being amazing. We ordered it and it's still damn good. There was a football game on so it was pretty loud in there with cheering fans. Didn't bother me, but may be too much for others. The bartender was super busy; I think she may have been the only one working that side so it took a while for her to get to us for our order but she was very nice. The Stromboli is HUGE! And so delicious. We got pepperoni, sausage, and spinach. Amazing. It's a laidback place with a diverse crowd all there to have a good time.

What a difference a year makes. A year ago I gave this place a 5 star review. The food was amazing (the Saturday night shrimp scampi special was to die for with a depth of flavor that was unreal) as was the service (an experienced server who worked the restaurant and the bar side without missing a beat). We have been back a couple of times and experienced the same. Tonight? Not even close. It was like we stepped into the twilight zone. We walked in and seated ourselves. A few minutes later so did another family. And then we all waited. And waited. Finally our server came out of the bar and brought menus to all. We got our drinks and placed our orders, as did the other table. And then we waited. And waited. Our server showed up from the bar side carrying a baby. She didn't came to our table - just stood there talking to what I think was a delivery driver, before disappearing back to the bar side. Meanwhile, drinks were empty and still no food - no garlic knots as an appetizer, no salads....and no server. I finally got up and walked to the bar side where our server was chit chatting with people. She asked what I needed - I asked for drink refills. Here's how the food finally came out. Garlic knots and the spaghetti and meatball entree my son ordered. Then our salads. Hubby ordered French dressing - it came with one French and one thousand island. At least the salads were fresh. Then came my hubby's Italian feast - with a few shreds of mozzarella on top. We had just gotten our salads. I should have known it wasn't going to go well when the server went up to the open kitchen to yell "I still need that scampi," and the cook replied, "that's shrimp right?" It finally came out and it was beyond horrid. First, not only did they not shell the shrimp, the legs were still on. They obviously took steamers and just through it in a pan. Gone was that amazing scampi sauce with the depth of flavor I had had in the past. I couldn't even tell you what it was. Our server didn't check to see if everything was ok. So the drinks sat empty and my dish u touched. She did walk around the dining room with the baby though. When our server finally showed up to clear our plates she saw mine was untouched, she thought I was still eating. I told her she could take it and showed her the shrimp, she said "ew yeah that's gross." Guess what? It was still on the bill and no apologies whatsoever. Hubby described his feast as "so so," and the kid said his sauce was too sweet (it was). It's a shame. We really used to love this place.

This used to be Andy's Pizza...did Andy's pizza recipe come with the purchasing of the locale? I am in the DC area but would travel to Norfolk if this is the case!

No we are not affiliated with Andy’s pizza at all . We are Mona Lisa pizza that came from ocean view with our recipes . We didn’t purchase from Andy’s at all they went out of business .

It was at this point, I knew we were doomed... but I never expected what actually happened. Eventually, a server comes out. He greets the other two folks then looks us and straight up ignores us. Look, ignore, and keep walking. Thinking that maybe he's just busy we chilled some and waited... nope... gave them water and still continued to ignore us. After THREE more times of this waiter ignoring us, we decided to go to the hostess for alternate seating. While there at the front, I was so infuriated that I told 3 other customer waiting in line our experience and insisted they enter at their own risk. They left. While we did get another seat with a waitress that was very amenable, the service from everyone else was just lackluster as heck. Overall, if you're just struggling for wings, sure... hit this place up. However, if you want an actual decent experience b/c of how much the cost of nights are... I'd advise pass. Though there weren't many people in the restaurant at all, the kitchen was really backed up and it took a long time for our food to come out. This didn't make sense at all honestly, so I'm not sure what the issue was. Didn't get to snap a picture, but they had a decent little amount of arcade games inside, which was pretty cool; wasn't expecting to see those in there. Also one of the dessert items I wanted to try: the salted caramel brownie, was out of stock, so I did have to change my dessert choice; unfortunately. To drink: I got the Watermelon Limeade (8.5/10) it was easy to drink, honestly just tasted like a fruity soda with a very tiny buzz to it. I would've liked it a bit more if it was a little stronger. Also tried the Dirty Berry Mojito (10/10) I absolutely loved the flavor of this Mojito and it was a lot stronger than the limeade. Def had a buzz after finishing it. After I was done, felt like I should've really just ordered two of the mojitos only. To eat: I got half Strawbenero BBQ (9/10) and half Spicy Garlic Ranch (6.5/10) boneless wings. The strawberry-habanero mix wings were really different and unique. When I first bit into them, I tasted the strawberry glaze and after a few more chews, that's when the spice settled in. I think it was different and actually pretty good. As for the spicy garlic ranch wings, I feel like they really tasted like regular buffalo sauce wings. I'm not sure if the kitchen mixed up what flavors I ordered, but they def tasted like regular buffalo and not anything garlicky or ranch flavor. Also did a side order of the loaded tots (2/10) the tots were cooked nice and crispy, but the loaded toppings had absolutely no flavor. There was chilli and cheese and after even giving the chilli a taste by itself, there was truly no seasoning in it at all. I wouldn't order this again. Also got dessert: the Cracker Jack Cheesecake (10/10) cheesecake is my favorite dessert, and I love the toppings of caramel and toffee; pretty sure it was supposed to have a chocolate drizzle on it, but the caramel was really good so no complaints. I totally see myself going back again, their hotdogs on the menu looked really really good and I would like to try some more of their unique wing flavors. My overall rate of experience : 7.7/10

It was challenging to find parking but thankfully, we were able to find a spot right in the front. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. With it being lunch time, we assumed we would be able to grab some lunch but to our surprise, they were serving brunch and we were only able to order off the brunch menu. We were slightly confused and definitely didn't have taste for breakfast items so we had to choose from a small selection of non-breakfast items. We started with Palomas. The drink menu only included the drink prices for Happy Hour, and it definitely wasn't Happy Hour, so we weren't sure how much the drinks were. The server mentioned one price, then came back and told us another price but either way, all that would've been eliminated if the prices were on the menu. After looking over the brunch menu, my friend didn't see anything appetizing so she asked if they could make a BLT Sandwich, which wasn't on the menu, and they agreed. I decided on the Crab Cake Sandwich. The food was served in decent time. My friend had an end piece of tomato on her sandwich, which was disappointing. Our server took her sweet time checking on us so and we literally had to flag down another server just to get ketchup. My sandwich didn't even come with remoulade sauce that was supposed to be added. I did enjoy my sandwich though, it was very tasty. I also ordered the Bourbon Glaze Wings 'to-go' and they were delicious. From not being able to order from a lunch menu, to our server not being attentive at all, our experience wasn't that great. We also had to battle flies the entire time we were there, and we were sitting inside so that was a bit frustrating. The restaurant is located right by the Marina and it has great views but the service left a lot to be desired. I may return for dinner in hopes of a better experience but it probably won't be any time soon.
