SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DO NOT HIRE MONARCH BALLOON BOUTIQUE!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I used this company for my sister's bridal shower. They showed up far earlier then I asked them too, set up and left everything unsupervised. Upon my arrival, balloons were missing and the other balloons had fallen. The lettering was also peeling off. I had to focus on fixing this disaster during my short window of time to set up. When I reached out to express my disappointment and requested a refund, they refused! In fact, they took ZERO accountability. When Angelique's brother came to take the sign down, he said it looked awful too. He told me she will make this right, which did NOT happen. I have never worked with a more unprofessional company. I absolutely do not recommend using Monarch Balloon Boutique. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I hired this company for my daughter's first birthday and paid $538 expecting a professional setup and quality work. I communicated the party start time multiple times in advance, yet the setup team arrived about an hour and a half after the party had already started. While they did text saying they were running "super late" and claimed they would arrive by 11:30, the party started at 11:00 -- and when they finally got there, they still had to begin assembling everything while guests were already there. Unfortunately, the final product did not justify the price or the delay. The logo/signage was bubbled and uneven instead of smooth and polished, and overall the setup looked rushed and lackluster. I even paid for their parking without issue because I expected professionalism and a high-quality result. For the amount charged, I expected much better communication, punctuality, and overall execution. To top it off, at the end of everything, I was offered a 10% discount if I booked with them again. After this experience, it's safe to say I will not be booking with them again, nor would I feel comfortable recommending them to friends or family. read more

One of the worse vendors I have dealt with. It was my dad's 90 and my 50th birthday event. I ordered the ballon decorations from them. We agreed on the design and I sent them a deposit of $150. I texted then 2 days before the event and they confirmed they will be there between 4-4.30 given the guests were going to arrive at 6pm. I started calling them at 4 with no response. She calls me at 4.20 saying they are running late and will be at the venue by 5.15. They blamed it on the rain. It barely drizzled that day. They get to the event at 5.45 saying they will need 45 minutes to set up and told me they will not even start the setup till I pay them in full. Their attitude is really bad and the gentleman was rude. No apology instead arrogance. My event had no decorations. They are really bad and I wouldn't count on them if you have a special event. They are capable of ruining your event by not showing up on time and not taking your event seriously read more

I had requested for just one artist to do both and they were able to staff exactly that. I received the name of the artist before the event. Kimberly was punctual and very good at both arts. To prevent a long line and kids losing time on the ice, I made a sign up sheet for the balloon requests so Kimberly work on them while the kids were skating. This method worked out very well. I would absolutely not recommend Monarch Balloons. We hired them to create a balloon backdrop and custom sign for my bridal shower, and unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing. The setup window was between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., yet they entered the venue and set up around 8:00 a.m. without our knowledge or permission. By the time we arrived during the agreed-upon setup window, nearly half of the balloons had already deflated/ popped or were missing, leaving the backdrop looking incomplete before the event had even begun. On top of that, the lettering on the backdrop was peeling off, making it look poorly made and unfinished. We reached out to Angelique to express our concerns and expected some accountability or a reasonable resolution. Instead, she refused to take responsibility for the issues and was unprofessional throughout the interaction. Your wedding events and celebrations are moments you'll never get back. It's incredibly disappointing when a vendor adds unnecessary stress instead of helping create a beautiful experience. This was a major letdown on what should have been a joyful and memorable day, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend Monarch Balloons. read more

Angelique completely ruined my store's grand opening. She showed up late, came by herself with no ladder, and then had the nerve to make my husband leave the event to drive home and bring her one so she could even do the job she was paid for. She charged me for a 20-foot balloon display but only set it up at 14 feet until I caught her and forced her to fix it. That alone was dishonest. But it gets worse -- she duct taped the entire 20-foot setup to concrete. Not surprisingly, less than two hours later, the whole structure collapsed on top of my customers. It was unsafe, unprofessional, and an absolute embarrassment in front of everyone. I immediately called and texted her for help, but she ignored me for over 8 hours. When she finally replied, her response was, "it is what it is, everything was fine when I left." That is beyond unacceptable. She refuses to apologize or refund my money. Her behavior is fraudulent, careless, and dangerous. She ruined one of the most important days of my business and showed zero responsibility. I had an amazing experience working with Angelique for a baby shower backdrop, and I couldn't be happier! She was incredibly communicative and responsive to all of my questions leading up to the event. I really appreciated that she sent me a mock-up beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect. She even went above and beyond by incorporating adorable dumpling balloons to match the theme, which was a huge hit!
