OMG! Ercilia, one of the owners, is AMAZING! The sweetest! Cool little place to meet some locals and have some great wines. This is a must visit. It's right at the Amtrak station so if you are looking for an adventure, jump on the train and stop by Monarch Grove Winery. You won't be disappointed. The wines are amazing and reasonably priced.

Monarch grove winery has amazing wines! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff of the local wines they make. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Blankets if you get cold. The cheese plater was very complementing wines we tasted. High requirement if you in the area!

Lovely little winery tucked behind the Amtrak Station. The owner was a joy to hang out with and very knowledgeable. The wines are tasty, and the ambience and company were delightful! Will definitely be coming here again when back in town!

What a lovely, quaint little wine tasting room. We were greeted by the friendly tasting room dog, Max. From there we enjoyed 6 delightful tastings poured by the wine maker. Our favorites were She Said Red and He Said Red as well as the Cab Frac! This is definitely a place we will visit again next time we're in the area.

I came to this winery on 12/16/2018 with my date. We had trouble finding this hidden winery and decided to grab a bite to eat and come back to find it. Anywho this winery is literally right next to the Grover Beach train station. Which is pretty cool as you can wait for your train and try out some delicious wine. When we walked in we were instantly greeted by the Owners husband and wife such a beautiful couple with their love for making good wine! They actually educated us on their wine and the reason behind their name which is named after the Monarch butterfly which is a gorgeous little critter. We got to sample several wines and my favorite was the two pictured. This was my first time wine tasting and I did not know that it would be so personal and intimate! The inside is so cute and adorable, they also shared their upcoming future plans with us which I am ultimately happy to see them expand their horizons. The husband was very knowledgeable as I can tell he is the mastermind behind the crafts and his wife is the icing on the cake as she was very sweet and warm. My date gifted me two bottles of wine that I liked the most when I came back from the ladies room as it was all wrapped up. If you ever find yourself in the Pismo Beach area definitely stop by this hidden gem! You won't be disappointed at all. Lovely place and great wines!

For just $6 for 6 tastings, this is a great deal! Only a block from the beach too so it is a great place to take a break from the sun. Don't get intimidated by the fact that it is located at the train stop. Anyone can stop by and enjoy a tasting. There are a lot of restaurants close by so you can come here for some wine first and then walk over to dinner later.

Nicest owners and best wines. Located at the Amtrak station. I tasted their 10 best reds and whites. Their Sangiovese is out of this world, but I bought some cabriolet sauvignon, my other favourite. The owners are very personable and fun people. Best chardonnay too!

We came on a Thursday where the hours were listed from 12 to 5. No one was at the tasting room and there was no answer when I called.

When asked a question he looked confused, and couldn't answer most of our basic questions. It could be Chamisal isn't used to people asking pertinent question about their wines, but the servers should be able to offer basic wine info. Additionally, the service was excruciating slow. It took over an hour for one flight. The wines were decent, but the experience was dampened by the service and lack of education on the wines. Also, there was no incentive for purchasing more than one bottle of wine. The price was the same per bottle regardless. Very unusual.
