They got back to me with a bid even before the other window installers returned my call asking for service. The installers showed up on time. They were polite and courteous. They finished the installation in the time estimated. They were efficient and double checked to see the windows and doors were sealed and slide easily. They replaced 15 windows that had failed seals and ordered a window for a new apartment construction. Stay away!! We had Monarch come to our house and measure for new construction windows, 2 sets of French doors, a bedroom passage door and a front door with 2 sidelites. Their lead installer came to our house and spent about 90 minutes measuring all our windows and doors. We received the bid a few days later and decided to order the windows and doors from them. Out of 20 windows only 3 fit properly, the rest of the windows were approximately 1/2 inch too small all the way around, one window was a foot too small! The 2 French doors opened the wrong way than we requested and the bedroom passage door was 6 inches too big and opened the wrong way as well. Monarch's response to us was that we should have double checked that their measurements were accurate. That is absolutely crazy, THEY are the professionals and should know how to measure accurately. That is why we hired them! I would DEFINITELY think twice before doing ANY business with Monarch !! read more

From the moment we walked into Monarch's display room and listened to the description and advantages of their window units, we were very impressed. Also, the organization and cleanliness of their factory that was visible from the showroom got a seal of approval. Their pricing seemed within mid to high range of what we'd pay elsewhere, but felt there was much more value for the buck with their windows. Boy, we were right in the long run but didn't know that until Mike came out to do the estimate and El did the critical measurements. El and Marvin did the installation. It's extraordinary how these two guys worked is if they were one. They were exceptionally efficient, worked quietly and very tidy, I mean really tidy! Every window and two 8 foot sliders were installed perfectly, everything works swimmingly and looks sensational. Quite frankly, I now feel this was a real bargain! They were very patient during the sales process.....with several site visits....lots of questions. They were always willing to meet, send samples, answer questions, whatever was necessary. We had a big job--we had to replace all of our windows and doors and selected the Loewen brand which are high quality. The installation team was incredible. They had a positive, "can-do" spirit no matter what they encountered. They were thoughtful about not damaging the garden and cleaned up brilliantly. I emailed them asking for a quote for patio sliding doors. At first, I received a reply from a J. Patton stating they would definitely be able to provide me with a quote. She asked if it would just be the door or door and installation and I informed her just the door. After that, I never heard back from them. Unfortunately, they are one of very few vendors within a few hundred mile radius who offer Loewen products. Might just have to go with a different brand. I dropped a shim between two panels of my sliding glass doors and couldn't get it out. It was wedged in so the door wouldn't close. Oh no!Monarch Windows who originally installed my windows and sliders sent their repair techs out so quickly after my sad phone call. They retrieved the small part and now the door works. Whew! I especially appreciate that they showed up at my door with masks on to be careful about Covid and within a few hours after my desperate phone call. I know it is hard to run a small business these days and I so appreciate this kind of local service. read more
