I selected one of the lunch special items and was a little disappointed in the quantity, even for a lunch. The special included fried rice and one main course, neither in very large portions and cost $6.95. I had been wanting to try this place for months and I finally did last night and I was not impressed at all. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken dinner which came with an egg roll, rice and a soup. I could not believe how salty that chicken was and the soup had no flavor! I am not an expert in Asian cuisine but this plate was not worth $13.00. Pacific Stix in downtown has by far better food in my opinion and their prices are better. Lastly, the thing that upset me the most is that I was told when I called that my total was 10.00 and change and when I picked up my food the amount had gone up. Never going back. read more

We came across this place through yelp and we are glad we did. We have tried to adopt a plant based lifestyle and struggle with finding good vegetarian/vegan options for eating out. This place was a jewel. First, our server was a very responsive and friendly young lady who had great recommendations. We ordered the Pad Thai and Orange chicken with brown rice. While not on our normal diet we did enjoy the Hot and Sour Soup (it has egg in it). It had the right amount of "kick" to it and was very well stocked. The egg rolls were some of the best either of us have ever tried. Soft shelled like a fine pastry they were an exceptional appetizer. When the orange chicken arrived the appearance had us worried. A very boxy looking chunk of "chicken" but we both really enjoyed it's flavor. We would definitely order it again. Our favorite however was the vegetable Pad Thai. Great mixture of seasoning and the texture was perfect. The only thing that was disappointing (usually we would have dropped it a star for this; but it was the end of the night so we are giving them a pass on this) was the brown rice. It was very dry. Overall, we were extremely pleased and will definitely be making some frequent visits. read more

We've been enjoying the food at Asian Bistro for several years now. We have found them to be one of the best Asian food restaurants in the area. No question about it. The food is pricey and worth every penny. The service is a tick slow because good food takes time to prepare. If anyone found a rude waiter as claimed, he must have been in some other place. Our family has been coming here for many years. The owner greets us and makes a point of checking in during the meal. The waiters are friendly and attentive. Over the years I have tried almost all of the dishes. My favorite ones are the green beans with garlic and the walnut shrimp. This place is a nice blend of Chinese & Thai. The ambiance is contemporary - yet you know it's an Asian restaurant when you glance in. I really didn't like this restaurant, I liked it better when it was full on Thai food. I had a very bland chinese/thai version of kung pao chicken and it was horrible it tasted like ready-to-eat meals or some kind of pre-packaged food. I had about half a plate leftover and I did not take it with me. Sorry but the change was bad. I love chinese and thai food and this restaurant does not do justice to either. And it is pricey too for being an asian restaurant. I would go to any of the many other restauranst in the neighborhood before coming back to this one again. read more

Good soup! Whenever I'm craving soup I go here since it's right next to my job and usually relatively quick on a lunch break! However this is the second time they've forgotten a spoon to eat SOUP, along with the second time I've waited at the front for minutes with no help! The first tome I didn't bother with the spoon and just drank it, the second time today I went back in! This is a Riversîde institution. They have been in business for 30 years and that's really hard to do in the restaurant business. Classic Chinese and Thai dishes. The restaurant is calm and date worthy. The food has a lot of flavor and I love sharing family style which is their jam. Lots of strong flavors; which I love. Beer and wine only. But all the classic asian beers. Nice wine selection. The decor is sexy and the lighting low. Definitely recommend it. Order 2 or 3 dishes to share a la carte. I really enjoy coming to this restaurant at the Canyon Crest Towne Center. I love the ambiance and food choices. I feel like I am getting a healthy food option when I order the chicken with mixed veggies, and I appreciate that they have brown rice as an option. This establishment is always clean, and I feel the prices are affordable. Once I ordered a to-go order and got to my house around the corner and saw that they forgot to include my soup, and I had to go back, but I consider it more of my responsibility to check my to-go order before I leave to make sure I have everything. A restaurant with a nice ambiance in the Inland Empire. Food is excellent and vegetarian friendly. I agree it isn't kid friendly but that might be why it still looks nice inside. Other restaurants in the area appear run down compared to this. It doesn't have a ton of choices but what would you rather have - a bunch of crappy choices or a few good ones. I went there for the first time today. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and we were seated right away. I ordered the Orange Chicken lunch special and my friend ordered the Cashew Chicken. The orange chicken was over fried with more batter than chicken. The cashew chicken had lots of vegetables and while the portions were okay, the taste was meh at best. The service was awful. I had to ask for water refills and for a box to go even though there were only 4 tables in the entire restaurant. If you want Chinese food, this is not the place to go! read more

Went here for a fathers day lunch today. The staff was very attentive. For such a plush and adult ambience the waiter acted exceptional towards the fussy two year that came with us. Glasses were always filled and dirty plates removed quickly. The food! we started with the crab ragoons, egg rolls and won ton soup. All so good! after that we ordered about half the menu. The jungle curry is my favorite, but the Monark Steak and Thai Chicken were a huge hit as well. love this place, never dissapoints. read more
