    Rare steak pho
    Azra A.

This place is so close to home but I never thought to go in honestly - I'm the only one in my family that loves pho. But there are a lot of options, plus apps and even hot pot. I can see finding something for everyone in your group and I can't wait to bring the gang out. The restaurant is surprisingly cute and spacious inside, and the hostess/waitress was really friendly as well. I ordered the classic - rare steak pho and added an app of egg rolls. Both were super tasty. I love that they also have all the toppings for the pho as well as sauces. I'll definitely be visiting again.

First time at this location, but I've been to the one on Magnolia several times before. Food is consistent...large portions, delicious pho & broth, and sweet refreshing drinks. Service was great, as the employees are friendly & efficient. Our meals were quickly delivered to our table within a few minutes. Despite it being a typical hot summer day in Riverside, we all had pho. I had the #11 Phở Tái Nam Gầu Gân Sách (Rare Steak, Flank, Fatty Brisket, Tendon & Tripe). It was so good that I finished almost the entire bowl! Looking forward to coming back and trying something from their Cajun seafood menu...on my way out I saw other customers chowing down, and it looked delectable!

Such a great spot! The food was delicious , got the wide noodles with filet mignon and eggrolls! The eggrolls were perfectly crunchy and fresh. It was a late night and the service was amazing! Such friendly and patient staff! They made it a great night! Thank you again!! Will be back!!

I ordered a vermicelli noodle with grilled pork and egg rolls while my husband got the #1 special combo to go. We put in the order online and put an estimated pickup time, and when we arrived on our way home, it was hot and ready! Once we got home and finally got a chance to eat, we were so happy with the food. My husband ate the pho immediately, so I didn't get a chance to take a picture, but he loved the light and aromatic flavors of the broth. I am a big fan of vermicelli noodles and these did not disappoint. The fish sauce had a nice salty but sweet flavor that really got soaked up by the noodles. The grilled pork and chicken was also flavorful, with the shrimp being very bouncy and chicken having a great marinade. The egg rolls had a lot of flavors packed into them that I actually wish I got more! The dish itself felt very fresh, light, and flavorful, and we'll definitely stop by again soon.

It was such a 10/10! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. And the food honey!!! Wow just amazing. Had the seafood hot pot and even when i struggled with the burner the lovely waitress had patience with me. A weekly stop by forsure !

Came in and there was no one. We didn't our appetizers until after 30 minutes later. When we were about to leave. They didn't rush to make them until we said we wouldn't want them anymore. We asked on their status twice. I like the food and quality but the service is horrible. If not they would only get one star

Good Pho spot in the mission grove plaza. Had their spring rolls, pho with filet mignon and egg noodles with fried wontons. All of the dishes were solid, with the highlights being the soup broth and the filet mignon. Service was excellent and friendly and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. If you're looking for a good pho place in Riverside for the winter weather, look no further!

Everything was really good. It was refreshing to find a place this close to home that actually hit the spot--even my parents thought it was good, which says a lot. We usually end up driving out to Rowland Heights for Chinese food, so having something like this down the street in Corona is nice. The pan fried shao mai was probably the surprise favorite for me since I've never had it prepared that way before. The xiao long bao wrapper was a little thicker than what I'm used to, but it was still good. Honestly, nothing we ordered disappointed. Food came out pretty quickly too, so even though there's usually a line, it moves faster than you'd expect.

Service was extremely slow for it not being busy. They were a bit stingy on the lemon wedges and veggies. There were three of us and we ordered three bowls of Pho. We got one small plate of veggies and two lemon wedges. When we asked for more lemons, waiter looked over at our table to make sure we actually needed more lemons. When we asked for a sauce plate/cup, he looked bothered. Well next time just put little sauce plates on the table and we wouldn't have to ask you to get it. Like how do they not know people like to dip their meats in Siracha and Hoison sauce. Not everyone just pours it into the bowl. When we ordered our Pho, we also ordered a Banh Mi sandwich as a to go order. At the end of our meal, my wife went to pay and the check included the price with the sandwhich. She paid and asked how long the sandwich would take, they said, "what sandwich!" Uh, the one we just paid for. Cashier looked confused and asked to see the receipt. Then he went to the back and asked about the sandwich. We could hear someone in the back saying they didn't make a sandwich. Cashier apologized and we waited another 12 minutes for the sandwich. Pho was actually good but a bit on the pricey side. $20 for the Dac Biet. Next time we'll just go to Pho Ha down the street for better noodles at a cheaper price and they won't charge you for a sandwich that doesn't exist.

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Good Luck!

My girlfriend and I come here fairly often because it's a convenient place to eat after work, and we've generally enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our last three visits have been disappointing due to missing items we paid for and poor customer service. Today, my girlfriend, her little sister, and I ordered three ramen bowls. My girlfriend is vegetarian and cannot eat meat because it makes her sick. She ordered the vegan ramen with extra noodles and requested that the toppings be served on the side, as I usually eat them. The second bowl was a Shio ramen with grilled chicken, and my bowl came out correctly. While waiting for our food, I watched the cook remove the chicken from the Shio ramen and place it into a separate bowl while wearing gloves. When our order was called, my girlfriend's vegan ramen still had the toppings on it despite our request to have them on the side. We politely pointed this out to the employee at the pickup counter and asked if it could be corrected. The employee responded with noticeable attitude, which was frustrating considering we were simply asking for the order to be prepared as requested. The bowl was handed back to the cook, who then removed the toppings by hand while still wearing the same gloves that had been used to handle the chicken. This raised concerns for us about cross-contact, especially given that my girlfriend avoids meat and can become sick from it. Because of that, my girlfriend only took a couple of bites before deciding not to finish her meal. Shortly afterward, she began feeling unwell. While I cannot say for certain what caused it, the situation was concerning and left us disappointed. We have enjoyed eating here in the past, which makes this review difficult to write. However, after multiple visits involving missing items, incorrect orders, poor customer service, and now concerns about food handling, I felt it was important to share our experience.

Big Sky was my **go-to Chinese food spot in Riverside** for years. **Then tonight happened.** I placed a DoorDash pickup order at their new location -- sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun, beef porridge, pork and shrimp siu mai, and white rice. They even threw in extra rice, and I was genuinely excited to dig in. That excitement ended the moment I looked down at my bowl and found a **MAGGOT sitting on top of my rice.** I called the restaurant immediately and calmly explained what happened. They told me to contact DoorDash since that's how I ordered. Fine. I reported it through DoorDash's platform and waited. Then I got a call back from DoorDash -- not to help me, but to relay a message: **Big Sky had contacted them specifically to refuse my refund.** Let that sink in. A customer found a maggot in their food, couldn't eat a single bite of a $54.19 order, and the restaurant's response was to **actively call DoorDash to make sure I didn't get my money back.** I understand that occasionally bugs happen in food service. It's gross, but I was fully prepared to move on had they simply taken responsibility. Instead, they chose to fight a $54 refund over a maggot. That tells you everything you need to know about how this restaurant values its customers. **Eat here at your own risk -- and if something's wrong, you're on your own.**

Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun.
