Pho Anh Hot Pot and Crawfish never disappoint. The pho is excellent. The Vietnamese noodle dishes - even better. My only critique would be to ask to pack less noodles in the to-go pho bowls. I've been coming to this restaurant for years and it's honestly sad to see how bad the customer service has gotten lately. Today was probably the worst experience I've had here. I walked in to place a takeout order and the young guy working was sitting down in a chair and didn't even bother to acknowledge me. No "hi," no "how can I help you," nothing. I literally had to walk up to him and tell him I wanted to order. The entire time I was ordering he just stared at me with zero facial expression or basic customer service skills. No thank you, no appreciation, absolutely nothing. He handed me my food the same way ...silent and rude ... and mind you, I still left a tip. To make it worse, they didn't include any condiments. When I asked for a small container for chili oil to take home, he rolled his eyes before going to the back to grab one. Then when I politely asked for a few more containers for the other sauces, he immediately said, "No, we don't have any." At this point it feels like customers are an inconvenience to them. I understand people have bad days, but this level of attitude and lack of basic respect is unacceptable, especially for longtime paying customers. This place is so close to home but I never thought to go in honestly - I'm the only one in my family that loves pho. But there are a lot of options, plus apps and even hot pot. I can see finding something for everyone in your group and I can't wait to bring the gang out. The restaurant is surprisingly cute and spacious inside, and the hostess/waitress was really friendly as well. I ordered the classic - rare steak pho and added an app of egg rolls. Everything went well! The pho!!! You can taste the 24 hour love they put into it without the fake powder flavoring with a bad after taste and yucky mouth feel. First time at this location, but I've been to the one on Magnolia several times before. Food is consistent...large portions, delicious pho & broth, and sweet refreshing drinks. Service was great, as the employees are friendly & efficient. Our meals were quickly delivered to our table within a few minutes. Despite it being a typical hot summer day in Riverside, we all had pho. I had the #11 Phở Tái Nam Gầu Gân Sách (Rare Steak, Flank, Fatty Brisket, Tendon & Tripe). It was so good that I finished almost the entire bowl! Food is good but the service is subpar. We order an appetizer, a soup and two number 55. They brought the 2 number 55s out within 10 minutes. No appetizer. I started to pick at my food assuming my son would get his soup within a few minutes I flag someone down after 15 minutes which was a whole thing on its own and let them know that they had not brought my sons soup or our egg rolls. Now I'm sitting here 20 minutes after we have finished eating because no one can be bothered to bring us out check. Next time I'll drive an extra 7 minutes the place across the street from Target in Canyon Springs is much better. read more

I just ordered from this location because it's convenient and close to home. I order $90 worth of food... Ask for extra sides, which I'm willing to pay for. I ask before I pay for my order... then the employee proceeds to tell me AFTER I pay that she didn't charge me for the extra sides which were $2.00 and tells me now if I want to get the extra sides there's a $5.00 minimum if I want to pay with card... I explain how that isn't right because I asked before I paid not after... I still ask if I can get it anyways since it was her mistake. Again extra sides as in onion and jalapeño which is a few cents at the grocery store... she proceeds to tell me she put some in the bag which I respond yes but I am asking for more and then end she ends up pulling out the card reader with a $2.00 purchase. We went through all the fuss going back and forth when all they had to do was charge me the $2.00. I was willing to pay, until she told me there was a $5 minimum. It seems like they didn't want to give me extra sides, which I was going to pay for anyways. Good food, unfair service, very stingy. read more

We put in the order online and put an estimated pickup time, and when we arrived on our way home, it was hot and ready! Once we got home and finally got a chance to eat, we were so happy with the food. My husband ate the pho immediately, so I didn't get a chance to take a picture, but he loved the light and aromatic flavors of the broth. I am a big fan of vermicelli noodles and these did not disappoint. The fish sauce had a nice salty but sweet flavor that really got soaked up by the noodles. The grilled pork and chicken was also flavorful, with the shrimp being very bouncy and chicken having a great marinade. We sat down and waited around five minutes before anyone bothered to bring us menus. When the server finally showed up and asked what we wanted, I said, "We haven't gotten a menu yet." Their response? "You come here often, don't you? You should know the menu." That kind of attitude is absolutely unacceptable. Everything tasted amazing. I was looking for something open during Easter and this was the spot. The pho was everything I wanted and needed as well as the egg rolls. I am a regular here & have never had a problem until a couple nights ago. The customer service was extremely disappointing. Not once during our meal did anyone check on us to see if we were okay or if we needed anything. And when we asked for the check, it never came to our table. After requesting it again, we were simply ignored. I then got up to go to the counter to ask for an itemized receipt and the waiter proceeds to chuckle & say "you're paying for him? You're paying for your date?" I said no, I just got up to get a receipt for us. My date then got up from our table and walked over to counter to ask why we couldn't just get it brought to our table when we saw him bring it to other customers, he then said "we don't trust sometimes, you need to pay here upfront, why are you crying?" Incredibly uncalled for & rude. We then asked for a manager and they said there's no manager? The waiter & my date then exchanged words to each other which led to him being super aggressive & cursed towards us. After, he came outside to knock on my car window & threaten me saying we "damaged" property so something may happen to me if they catch that, I asked them to show me what "damages" were done because we were standing right outside the establishment & he couldn't point anything out at all. I asked for the waiters name & he said his name is Tyler & then he's the manager (mind you they just said there is no manager). As a Vietnamese-American woman, I'm trying to support my own community, I expected a much more respectful and welcoming experience. I hope this experience doesn't happen to anyone else! read more

Terrible experience. Staff doesn't know how to prioritize between take out orders and dine in customers. We sat for 20 minutes and never even got acknowledged. They finally acknowledged 2 parties that came in after us. We simply got up and left and I made it a point to let the staff know their service and experience was trash on the way out and all they did was give me a deer in the headlights look.
