The steak was more raw than that, but I didn't care. It was tender and juicy and flavorful. The salt on my platter provided a little extra punch whenever I needed it. The steak came with half a potato, but, unaware of that, I also ordered patatas bravas. Really not the best patatas bravas I've had in Spain, but it's easy to forgive that. The local I spoke to said he recommended the lomo alto, so I'll try that next time. If you want a killer high-quality steak prepared with love, you can get it at La Tavernícola.
