Usually, I do not have an issue with places, but it seems that since we were here last this place has went downhill some of the food was undercooked, or overcooked, and quite a few things just didn't taste right. Usually after I have my food, I will eat cucumbers Instead of eating sweets or something for dessert but when I got the cucumbers here they were slimy. My wife loves ribs but she spat out the one bite she had and said that they tasted ruined and then she had a plate made from the hibachi grill and she said that the chicken which was just cooked tasted ruined. My son also asked about the sushi and he was told that the rice roll was not done and then a few minutes later there still was not any sushi. So this will be the very last time I ever eat here again. If I could give no stars or just a half star I would be happy they surely do not deserve any stars and should be closed. read more

very bad service nobody was there, at all probably because the service is so bad they never took our plates up and when we walked in there was tables with empty plates. the food was okay it wasn't as good as it usually is the soup was almost completely empty and some of the food was cold. my husband said his noodles were awful and rubbery, i really liked the sushi and crawfish though. the ambiance is the only good thing ab the place they have a cool fish area and overall it's very nice in there. read more

The food and the employees are all very nice. The small muscles, crab cakes, and habachi chicken were the three items tried that had really good flavor. This place is a good Chinese restaurant to eat buffet. read more

Better choices for the money elsewhere in Florence.Not a real bargain and they places an automatic tip of $7 on bill for serving a glass of water. I won't be back. My kids and I went to eat here Tuesday and we had only ate about 2 bites of food (thankfully) , when the waitress came to top off our drinks . I watched her pour a cockroach into my sons drink and thank goodness I was watching. I got up and carried the drink to the front and told them we were leaving , the waitress grabbed the roach out and said she could get me another drink . I said no we are not eating here . He said ok we will only charge you for one drink. I said no, we haven't ate any food except maybe 2 bites , I'm not paying for food we did not eat and it has roaches . The waitress starting yelling in Chinese and they told me they would call the cops if we did not pay. I told them to go ahead and they did . I spoke with the police and they recommended to just pay half since my kids and I are standing out in the heat are this point and instead of filling out reports we could pay half and told me to call the health department and the Alabama BBB. We have ate here for a couple years and I'm absolutely disgusted . read more

My family and I used to come here after church on Sunday's and until now, I had never had a bad experience. I remember the food and selection being great, the atmosphere being pleasant and the restaurant itself being clean. After revisiting the restaurant nearly a year later, I left disappointed and mildly disgusted. Here's why: The food was cold, so cold I put my hands near the warmers because I was convinced they weren't on. They were on (to my surprise). The food had obviously been sitting out for a while which didn't make sense to me considering it was a little after 5 pm, dinner service was just beginning. I expected fresh, warm food and was majorly disappointed. On top of that, everything I tasted lacked seasoning and flavor. Literally, everything. After taking a bite of at least 15 different dishes, I gave up. I was still hungry and was honestly considering going to Taco Bell on my way home. I was desperate for a warm meal at this point. I went to the front to pay but wanted to let whoever was in charge know that the food was cold just in case they weren't aware. I didn't want them to lose business, I still had hope considering my memories of this place contradicted everything I'd experienced thus far. When I spoke with the man in charge, he scowled at me and blamed the quality of the food on the weather, he said the food was cold because it was cold outside and then walked away from me before I could say anything else, obviously annoyed. I'm now convinced that he's simply trying to save a few dollars on his electricity bill by neglecting to turn up the temperature on the warmers as customer satisfaction is obviously not a concern to him. In conclusion, I won't be coming back. I wouldn't recommend taking your family here unless you want to leave with an empty stomach because the food as it was tonight is inedible. I'm very disappointed in the overall quality of the restaurant, not just the food but the staff as well. read more

With the name Mongolian Grill, I expected a typical Mongolian grill with a lot of choices. It was actually a Chinese buffet with a small grill on side. Out of beef, limited vegetable and sauce selections. Cabbage was brown. Asked for Mongolian sauce. Was very bland. All of the Chinese selections I tried were barely warm. Only redeeming thing for me was that they kept my ice tea full. read more

This has always been my favorite place to eat since I was a kid. I'm in love with their fried oysters and can and have ate over 4 plates of them in one sitting. I also love the chickens and mushrooms, though never had the American portions before. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. My dad and little brother don't care for the place either but that's just because they don't like Asian food. I guess some people are just really picky. It's a buffet, not a five star restaurant by no means, but good food for a place that's meant to match a high school cafeteria cooking style standard. read more

Food was dry and old. My wife found a hair in her food. She just letting them be aware of it. The waitress told her it was not a hair and she was wrong. Then she took her plate away and put it in the dirty dishes pan and caries it to the back but left all of the other dishes on the table. I am a retired police officer and we would call that distruction of evidence. We will never eat there again and I will advise everyone I know to never go there. We were not trying to get out of paying. But you don't treat us like we are stupid and trying to. read more

We visited this restaurant this evening and found it very unappealing. The Manager was screaming at her employees as they were trying to put food on the buffet. I had to go through plates and bowls to find clean ones. We have been regular customers of this place, but will not return due to unclean conditions and loud manager disputing a meal out on the town. read more
