When you get there, they give you egg drop soup and an egg roll. Both were absolutely delicious, and I don't usually like egg drop soup. At this location they have a buffet but the also have other menu items. I decided to go with the buffet, and was not disappointed. The frozen meat kinda looks like dog treats, but once grilled it's actually really good. The sauces are water based, but still have a lot of flavor. I think a lunch buffet was 8.95, and it's all you can eat. It is definitely worth the price and I will be returning! read more

I highly recommend the buffet. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. There was a good selection of meats, veggies, and sauces. The recommended sauce combos were really good. Don't skimp on the sauce. We went to Mongolian grill last night and chose the all you can eat. After making one plate each my wife and I both decided it was disappointing. I do not eat meat but my family does and it seemed like the lowest quality meat they could find, veggies did not taste fresh and not a big variety either. Ok, this place just sucks! We are from Pagosa and come to Durango to shop alot. Had a craving and thought we would give this place a try. Ugghh! Big mistake! Ordered sweet and sour chicken. It was worse than i buy at the grocery store. My daughter and I got our food and they told my husband his would be right out. If 20 freakin' minutes is "right out", then whatever. Absolutely the most average, predictable strip mall Asian food. I placed a To-Go order of Egg Rolls and Beef and Broccoli that cost almost $20.00. Right after paying, I had realized I had forgotten to order soup. When I told the lady behind the counter, she asked if I had cash because she would not run my card again... I asked if she was serious because I had just paid $20 and she said "yes" and pointed at a sign on the counter ( No credit cards on a charge less then $5 ) and then walked off. Instead of asking for a full refund and leaving, I sucked it up and collected my order (without soup) and left. Everything about the food that I did get was very average... Nothing inspired or remarkable. I guess I should of expected this when ordering take out on a Sunday night from a place next to a Wal-Mart. Live and learn! read more

Went into the place on a Sunday afternoon, decided to go with the all you can eat buffet and it was a mistake. All the meat was cut up and FROZEN! All the meat tasted like shit and the veggies had no taste. 10/10 would not recomend. read more

Passing through town stopped at Wal-Mart and seen this place. While wifey shopped I read reviews etc. We both got the All you can Eat Buffet. I thought all their selections and offerings were good. The man cooking needs to learn to be a little more friendly rather than stare at you and kinda grunt, but he did cook our meals ok. I thought overall this was as good as any other Mongolian BBQ we've been to, place was clean and waiters kept the drinks full etc. Only one trip but it was big.....we left full ! read more

I know there was a time when I enjoyed this place, but for the life of me I can't remember when the last time was. The quality of service and food has gone down a little more each time I've been back...why I gave it so many chances is unknown...perhaps fond memories of meals past...this last time will be the final time I'll go there. The fresh Mongolian grill had a nice variety of meats, seafood, noodles and vegetables. My husband enjoyed it. We ordered the cashew chicken which had a very strong bamboo flavor which was a little off-putting though edible. The beef and mixed vegetables with brown sauce was as expected. Nothing more, nothing less. I was not disappointed but it was very standard with no added flair. Service was fine and place was quite busy. Better than May Palace in town though. An adequate Chinese meal that will fill a hungry belly with huge portions at reasonable prices. We had tons of leftovers so consider sharing if you aren't that hungry. read more

The food here is nothing special! And it's never consistent. I have eaten here on numerous occasions and I usually get the same thing (general tso, or Mongolian beef) and it never tastes the same. The soup is bland and is more of a gel than a soup. And the staff either doesn't speak English fluent enough to answer questions or understand you, or they are rude and act like you owe them something. Definitely not a comfortable environment if you ask me.... Your better off getting food elsewhere. read more

I have been eating here for years. I learned to stay away from the "all you can eat" buffet. Only a true oriental chef knows how to combine all the flavors. This is the reason you don't cook Chinese food at home. What makes you think you can do it there??? Read the reviews. With this being said, your best value and flavor is sticking with the lunch menu. Honestly, I think the food is okay, but the service from the lady manager was not very efficient or polite. I asked for "light" sauce on my food ... as in not as much sauce ... and they piled on the hot garlic sauce. My dish looked like a soup even though I requested less sauce. I had expected light sauce because when I asked for it, the server said "Light sauce" (twice) as if she understood what I meant. The server saw all the napkins I used to remove the sauce off the vegetables. When I told my server about it, she immediately wanted to get the manager. I told her it wasn't necessary, but she insisted and went and got her. The manager comes up to me and immediately tells me that the sauce is so much because of the liquid from the vegetables. She said I should order something else next time because they cannot make light sauce. She tells me all this before I even say anything to her as if she understood my predicament. So, I repeated what she said to me in a question form. I said, "So you are telling me that the amount of sauce on this plate is caused by the liquid in the vegetables?" Yes she said. Then I asked, "So if I order anything else, let's say a fish or a chicken dish in this Hot Garlic Sauce, that I will always have this much sauce." Yes she said. I told her that I have never heard of that before. I told her that I have frequented multiple Chinese restaurants where they can provide for me less sauce on my items, and this was the only restaurant that says they cannot give me light sauce on my items. She told me that is just how it is. I then told the Manager that I am not asking for money back (I thought perhaps she was thinking this about me). I told her that I think the food is delicious and all that I wanted was light sauce on my items. I told her that I am the customer. I told her that I am telling her all this because I am just trying to help. She said nothing more to me and just cleared my table. It was a very odd exchange. Perhaps it was some sort of communication issue or language issue, but regardless, it left me uncomfortable enough to not want to go back. I went here the other day and got the lomein (not a smart choice) and it tasted like it was tainted and the vegetables in it were all brown or yellow. I also got the crab Rangoons and they tasted like my garbage. If I wanted garbage I could have gone to my neighborhood dumpster.
