Very slow service and only offering take-out, although they do allow diners to eat on the small patio. Overall, my salad tasted good, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We ordered 1 salad, 2 pad thai (identical), a fried rice and a spring roll. Was told 20 minutes. Checked 45m later and was told it was a huge order and it was 70-80% done. What a joke. Huge order. Food here is amazing !! Got the pineapple fried rice with pork . Highly recommend. Locally owned and authentic.

The food was very flavorful and not super expensive but it was SPICY! My friend got a mild and she was not able to eat it because it was so spicy. I got medium because I wasn't in the mood for something spicy (my spice tolerance is pretty high so medium is easy doable), but I was not able to finish it either. If you can't handle spices ask for a spice level 0!! If you are the type of person that loves challenging your taste buds this is the place to go. This your best bet for take out Thai in Durango. It's reliably quick and easy. I prefer the food at the other Thai place to the north, but it's a complete disaster to buy food from them. The one to the South is equally reliable, but I personally prefer Thai Kitchen. We've been patronizing this business since it opened and have noticed since Covid and the discontinuance of in person dining permanently, that their food has gone down hill. Tonight was the final straw. If you remember when your mom used to cut your spaghetti up, that's what their pad Thai was. We took it back and the kid working the "pick up window" was arrogant and disrespectful who hurled insults as if we've never had good pad Thai. This place will be another unfortunate story about good food gone bad and embarrassing ignorant service. Chicken was not grilled & lettuce was floating in dressing. Also both dishes were several dollars more than what was listed on line. Pretty sure I won't order these dishes again. My husband and I stopped here after a day of hiking and enjoying the fall leaves in Durango. It was a lovely treat. Due to Covid they are only doing walk up/carry out service. I ordered the Thai hot (I think that was the designation; whatever the spiciest is), and it was super tasty but it burned my taste buds and entire mouth. I love spicy food but it's not a joke how fiery that level of spice was, so be forewarned when ordering your spice level. My gastritis is wicked inflamed after it and I'm not sure the pain to pleasure ratio was worth it. The red curry was really good (it's just killing my stomach now). Nice assortment of veggies, and they gave plenty of rice with the portion which I find isn't always the case when ordering curry. My dad had the teriyaki chicken and found it was overcooked and lacked flavor. With COVID, there's only take out but you can order at the window of the restaurant. read more

I was so disappointed. I was really looking forward to some creamy, peanut-butter curry, and got spicy water with some undercooked broccoli and carrots with a few pieces of peanuts tossed in. We also had the spring rolls, which were very good, but I do think they were overpriced. They were more expensive than the ones I'm used to getting in Knoxville and those have shrimp whereas these were just veggie. I can't speak to their other dishes. It's solidly middle of the road Thai food at a Durango price. The app is demanding more characters but this place doesn't deserve them.

I just ordered takeout and apparently the menus on Yelp do not reflect the current prices. Like, not at all. I was aiming for a $30 meal and it ended up being $40. What they could do in the future to prevent this situation is to name the price over the phone so I would've known exactly how much in advance. If it were my business I would've given a manager discount or something as a gesture, even if it didn't fully rectify the situation. Instead, I was told that I could just not buy it, when I have a hungry family at home waiting for dinner. I wonder what they would've done with the food if I hadn't bought it? It seems that they could've done something... It just wasn't very effective on their part and I'm really disappointed. read more

I was really disappointed in their service. It doesn't seem like their customers are their top priority. It also just seems like the food is over-priced for what it is. AND they still use styrofoam boxes for take-out, so not environment-friendly. This part I'm just adding now: Their yelp menus are not updated. Friend of mine just ordered for pickup and they didn't tell her the price over the phone, and then the order was $10 more than what the menus on Yelp said it would be. After five days camping we were looking forward to our hotel and a good meal we didn't have to cook:). We ordered beef Panang curry, chicken larb, Tom kha gai soup and a Thai iced tea for a total of $60 odd dollars. The curry had about four pieces of beef and a few measly bits of broccoli in it, the soup was seemingly devoid of coconut milk (regular milk?!) with no real flavor and the chicken larb was so over the top salted we had to add it to the tasteless soup to make it edible -- my boyfriend couldn't even stomach it after a few bites and had stomach issues the entire next day of travel. We ended up throwing it all out after a few bites and eating almond butter sandwiches. Super disappointed as owner seemed nice. read more

I've been going to Thai kitchen ever since they opened years ago. Since Covid they have been only doing takeout. Prices have gone way up and quality has gone way down. On top of that, they try and squeeze you for a 20% tip on a to go order. The quality of food has gone way downhill. Lacking flavor, less ingredients, cheaper rice, chili, and everything. Barely any vegetables or meat in the food. It basically tastes like crappy Chinese food anymore. The only good thing is the Thai basil wings and I'll go back for those, but I'm sure they'll mess those up too at the rate they are going. read more
