I was looking for a new dentist when my co-worker said that her dentist was the best. I was thinking yeah right sure but I made an appointment and everything seemed okay at first. It's been a little while since I been to my last dentist so I definitely needed some work done. Luckily I have insurance so I really didn't have to come out of pocket too much. I had to get a few cavities taken care of and the staff here is very friendly so that helps. Anyway the dentist is SO gentle everytime she works on my teeth. My co-worker just may be right about Monica being the best dentist. Also the lady who I forgot her name that cleans my teeth is wonderful and she is also very gentle!!! I need to get my wisdom teeth pulled but I need to go to a specialist for that. I would rather have the wonderful staff at Monica's do it but she can't do everything unfortunately. Dr. Palusso is very friendly and super accommodating, she has an amazing staff! I couldn't sleep because of the pain I was in from a broken wisdom tooth. I called her office first thing in the morning and made time to see me right away!! They did an X-ray and realized just how bad it was so they quickly got on the phone and made a referral and schedule the next available appt with a Oral surgeon, same day!! Dr. Chapokas has been my dentist since she took over Dr. Smith's practice. All her staff is well trained. They really keep you comfortable and you can trust them with that they need to do to make your teeth healthy. I come from San Diego to go to her practice. You travel whatever it takes to get the best. I've been at this practice for about 12 years. My other dentist retired and was suffering from Cancer. So, it was very sad. This practice is great. Everything went very well for my first visit. Due to a cancellation I got an appointment for the morning after I called them! No waiting time after my arrival. Dr. was very thorough in her exam. My teeth cleaning was probably the best I have had. The hygienist did a great job. My follow-up treatment was clearly explained and reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about this dental office. I've had a lifelong phobia of the dentist thanks to some bad experiences in childhood and adolescence, and the staff here has changed all that. They are kind, patient, and gentle, and most of hygienists are really friendly and funny! I had an appointment yesterday for a cleaning and exam and didn't have childcare - I brought my 3 month old baby and one of the ladies (thanks Lauren!) watched him for the entire 1hr15min appt, which was a Godsend.
