Perfect pizza!
Jennifer D.

We were in Illinois after my husband had a massive seizure and was hospitalized there. My sister-in-law knew that this has always been my husbands favorite pizza place and she had them deliver a pizza to us at the hotel while he was recovering there. (She lives in the UK and did this for us!) The guy who delivered the pizza was very friendly and professional, it was delivered quickly and it was absolutely delicious! Our daughters also got a kick out of how cute the delivery vehicle was!

I hope you like sitting on ripped seats!

We stopped in here for a late lunch during the businesses slow period around 2 pm. The first thing I noticed was the crumbs and wrappers all over the floors in the dining room. I checked out the restroom which was not exactly what I would call clean. The food did not take very long to be delivered to our table. The overall taste of the food was good. The service was not so great. After the food was delivered to our table, we never saw our waiter again. Before leaving, we had to find our own box to place out left overs in. Needless to say there was no tip left for the horrible service. This restaurant could use some repairs as well. Many of the seats on the booths were ripped. They did not look very comfortable to sit on.

Monical's is a local legend for their pizza. They have the best thin crust pizza you can buy in Illinoi! Love coming here with my family!

Very comfortable place with cozy seating and plenty of room.

This place is under new management and it is awesome!!!! We have been coming here every week for 9 years and have seen great service under the new management! Sam came on less than a year ago and we have seen great changes in service and food quality! We love coming here and the personal attention we get. Definitely recommend!

Great food, fast and friendly service!!! Breadsticks and family pleaser for the win. Can't beat the red sauce either.

Get it to go unless you enjoy sharing your food with flys constantly landing on your food.

It's a Wisconsin cheese burger pizza!!! It has pickles in it... hiding under a ton of oozing cheese (three types of Wisconsin cheese I believe) and burger meat. Sounds weird to you? No... you're weird for not liking delicious things. It is a slice of heaven. The bane of the lactose intolerant and the fear of cholesterol watchers. To sum it up, it is purely delicious. I don't I've four hours to g t this pizza. They open up at 4pm so I had to starve until the next afternoon, but it was worth it. I had this when I was in town back in 2004 and have thought about it for over a decade. I hope some of you yelpers get the chance to have this some day. Lots of TVs tuned into various games. You can get pretty strong drinks and food that's better than it looks. Certainly there's a greasy feeling about it. It's not exactly the cleanest or nicest but it's better than a whole lot of other places in town to go to. This mostly gets crowded on weekends. Actually it's never too crowded. There's happy hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It's about $7 for a basic cocktail. Whiskey and whatever. It's about $7 for most appetizers. The Giant Pretzel is great for sharing. Comes with a beer cheese or something else. The rest of the menu includes things like fish sandwiches. Good place to watch games. It's one of the few places around here that's open on Sundays. That makes sense because races are usually on the weekends.

I heard some good things about the pizza they serve so I figured I would give it a shot for myself. I placed a carry out order over the phone and was told it would be 20 minutes. The place wasn't that busy when I arrived, and it looked just like I remembered. There were two employees working and I spoke with both. They were both very friendly and my pizza was ready as promised. The crust was about par for the course around here. Not much taste outside of flour. The sauce was decent, and the toppings were plentiful. The cheese is the type mozzarella that turns a bit rubbery, but I must admit, I like that. All in all, I enjoyed the pizza, and the service was friendly. Was it my favorite pizza in Pontiac? No. But, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

If there is more than one person in the store you can rest assured that they will be standing in a line together before it is all said and done. I would say each individual transaction averages close to 5 minutes. Now, this isn't to say that she isn't friendly. In fact, she is a very personable and pleasant individual. There is just something that happens when you are looking for a quick in and out experience and Vicky is in charge.

We couldn't have picked a better spot. We were seated immediately and notice the place was filled with mainly locals. Our server stopped by right away to take our drink order and ask us if we had any questions. She was so nice, so friendly, offered great recommendations and was fun to talk to. Mr. Bee ordered the Monte Cristo Wrap and I tried the house made veggie burger. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. The Monte Cristo Wrap was really quite good and had a lot of nice flavors and was seasoned well. My veggie burger was different but delicious. It was also seasoned well and I managed to eat every last bite and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a side of Fried Mac and Cheese and it too was very different than what you would expect. The mac and cheese is not shaped into balls, battered and fried. They take their mac and cheese and smash it down on the grill to cook it. So good. It had lots of crispy bits on it. The food was fresh and really well cooked. The place is like an old fashioned diner and friendly service with a smile. The atmosphere was fun, and everyone seemed friendly and were enjoying their meals. We were full, but when our server came by and said we have fresh made pies, Mr. Bee jumped on that bandwagon. We got a piece of coconut cream pie to go. We stopped in the park in the middle of the square where there are a few benches and picnic tables. We enjoyed our pie, it was scrumptious while enjoying the beautiful sunny day.
