I love this groomer!! It's an amazing family owned shop that does an incredible job. This is my first experience having a small long haired dog, and the owner has made it so easy. Every time he goes in, he comes out looking so handsome. He's a brindle Scottie, and she does such an amazing job of trimming his coat, it's always so even, I don't know how she does it. What is the most important thing to you when you drop you're dog off at the groomers? That you can trust the person to not hurt or lose your dog right? Yes, we want them to get a great cut and come home smelling like a fresh bouquet of flowers, but when it really comes down to it we really just want our dog to be safe and not traumatized. My mom has been taking her dogs to Monique's for years and my own dog has been coming here for about two. They are trustworthy, care about dogs and my dog comes out looking great! Greetings to all my doggy friends! I have to yelp about this place. My "Parents" have been bringing me here ever since I was adopted 4 yrs ago. Before my "Older Brother" went to Doggy Heaven, he came here too! So let's just say that our family has been coming here for quite some time and are extremely happy with Monique's Paw! I have a standing appointment every three weeks for my spa treatment. I'm a Pom, so I have standards. High standards. This is a busy parlour for sure, but the owners (I call them "Auntie Laura and Uncle Rich") are wonderful! My parents know that when they drop me off I am going to be in a clean and safe environment. That is very important to them and to me too! They are always so pleased when they pick me up after my transformation. Voila! They rave about how fabulous I smell and how soft my beautiful flowing locks are (don't be a hater Fabio). And once again, I leave feeling and looking like a Million Bucks! Called for an appointment, was recommended by several people arrived at 8:00 as requested brought in my 2 Poodle Mixes explained how I wanted them groomed. Requested Poodle cut with High Waters on the legs with clean toes, pads, face, ears and anal area. When I picked them up to my shock and surprise they were shaved, unevenly, they looked nothing like poodles they looked like skinny rats. Hair still between toes and pads, no high Waters not brushed out, to makes matters worse I was quoted $35.00 for each dog was charged $40.00 per dog and for what? The worst grooming that was done to my dogs In the 11 years that I have had them. Nothing was done that I had requested. I will never take them back to this place or recommend it. Only putting 1 star because they were nice. read more

Hello, I have been bringing my Bentley to Monique's paws for 9 yrs. They always do such a great job on him. I decided to change up his doo & showed them a picture they did it just like I wanted him he always comes home smelling clean. They are the friendliest people & hard workers. Monique's Paw is a must stop when in Lodi. They always make time for my little guy to be groomed. Their prices are fantastic and they are very sweet. I think that if you live here, you should set up regular appointments because I get the impression that they book up & are not usually able to take last minute appointments. read more

We have taken our dogs to Monique's for over 18 years now and they have always been excellent! Our first pet was a poodle named "Willie" and in his latter years he was a bit grumpy. They handled him kindly and he never complained. Now we have a 2 year old Bichon-Maltese mix named Charley that is "special-needs" and they just love him and treat him so well. Never the less, we highly recommend this groomer and so do our dogs. read more

I called to make an appt. Told the person answering I was looking for a new groomer for my 2 shin tzus. She asked if I had been there before, and I responded no. She stated she would have to put me on her cancellation list then, because she was booked out pretty far. Does that mean if you have been there before you get in sooner? The cancellation list was never really offered either. She didn't ask me if her time frame was acceptable. I guess this business has their fill and needs no new business - so no need to call if your not already doing business with them. read more

I've been bringing my dog here for a couple years now. Super friendly and professional. My shitzu terrier always looks and smells great!

I had been going here for a couple of years and never had any issues. However come spring of 2015 after taking my dog there she developed itching. Went on for couple of weeks. Next visit 3 months later the same thing happened but more intense. After 2 vet visits and $$ of antibiotics I discontinued using Monique's. Have been taking my pet to a different groomer since with no problems. read more

I took my Australian Shepherd, Miss Wilbur, to at least three different places. She suffered from heat stroke so I had her shaved every 3-4 months. Every time I picker her up, I would ask for kisses and she would snub me! Took her to Monique's and she was so happy when I picked her up - she gave me kisses!!! I knew this was the place for her!
