My Shadow had his first ever big boy groom done here! I knocked a star off only because of how long it took... they told me a certain time he'd be ready.. then he wasn't for almost 2 hours after the scheduled pick up time.. that was inconvenient. My baby was matted pretty bad so we opted for a very short cut! As you can tell by the pictures. I left my Shadow and I brought back a literal Shadow, because I don't know where the rest of my dog went. We brought him in on 06/14. It's now 08/13 and his hair is finally growing back and he looks like himself again! I almost was afraid it wouldn't. It was $65 for the whole package but they charged me a $20 extra for him being matted I believe? They gave him treats while he was inside. He seemed happy when I picked him up. They had him in a cage waiting with his little neck scarf. I would definitely bring him back to this location. Its nearby home and staff were friendly. Next time he's just getting a trim though I can't have a naked mole rat in my house lol. read more

Took my Pomeranian to have the nails clip and trim a little hair around the toes...was told it would cost $20... When I went to pick my dog ...was told the cost is $40.00...because it's additional $20 for a muzzle. The muzzle was never explained to me before the service started. Was told the next time I bring him to be groomed. I would have to pay the additional $20 for a muzzle. That's absurd.!!!!! read more

I would leave zero stars if I could .... I took my two miniature Schnauzer's here for grooming. I asked that they shave my boy (Benji) & leave his beard. For my girl (Brooklyn), I asked to have a schnauzer cut. I have an amazing relationship with their old groomer in Long Beach. She always told me how well behaved Benji & Brooklyn are. They are both 3 and have NEVER bitten anyone or anything. I dropped my dogs off at 1:30 & around 4:30 I get a call from an employee saying my boy dog bit the groomer and they don't want to work on my girl. The lady said," I don't know if it's your dogs or if they don't like the groomer"... My mother arrived to pick them up and the unprofessional (male) employee tried to scam my mom out of $100.00 for half way shaving Benji & they didn't touch Brooklyn. They had no other dogs there... no one waiting . My mom said my dogs were shaking like leaves , had no water in the small cages they were in, Brooklyn was yelling so loud & was terrified. Why would they call me at 4:30 if I dropped them off at 1:30 & only shaved Benji half way? Why didn't they cut Brooklyn? How could they try to scam my mom out of $100.00 for doing absolutely NOTHING!?! This is a Horrible place I recommend Happy Paws Pet Grooming on Hammer Lane. Only reason we didn't go there is because they were booked so far out. Steer clear from this place if you care about your dog's safety & being scammed . read more

My doggo did great! Angela was very accommodating knowing that this was Rowdy's first grooming experience. I could tell by explanation of the process that she knew how to handle my dog and make him feel non stressed. She even had my dog come in after hours, which does cost a little more, but to me totally worth it. Rowdy looks great and feels so soft. She did an amazing job. Everyone was friendly and caring. So the issue that this pet groomer business has is they don't know good business ethic. If you have a dissatisfied customer, instantly becoming combative and argumentative is bad for business. That speaks more to the person honestly. If you make a mistake with a customer such as losing a personal item or not performing the service requested, try to make things right in order to keep the business of the customer instead of pushing them away. You'd be surprised how far an apology can go. I've brought my pet here twice but unfortunately I won't be bringing him back. They put a rubber band on his coat by his neck so tightly that the only way I could get it off was to cut it off. They also did not cut his nails on each occasion. It's so hard to find good help. read more

This place is beyond horrible ! The man who works here tried to charge me $100.00 for our two schnauzers and they didn't even cut their hair . My boy dog came home half shaven and my girl dog they said they didn't want to cut. They took over 3 hours to call and say they wouldn't finish their cuts because my boy dog bit the groomer?!?! He has NEVER had any complaints from past groomers and they've been getting groomed for over 2 years with beautiful Schnauzer cuts. They don't know what they are doing here and they are completely unprofessional. Also, my dogs were traumatized when I picked them up, with no water, panting so hard and yelping so loud. They had no other dogs or customers there and had them in cages with no water bowls in sight. This whole situation was a nightmare and I've never experienced anything like this. 100.00 for doing nothing over 3 hours later !?!? And if it's true that my boy dog bit the groomer, why couldn't they cut our girl dog?!? They are lucky I left them $62.00... it was not deserved! read more

This place is horrible! They stole my dogs Seresto flea collar and would not replace it. First time them the haircut they gave her looked silly but worse than that my dog was scratching that's when I noticed that her 2 week old collar was gone. I contacted them they said they had it but gave me some old dingy, waaay too big collar. I told them that wasn't my dogs collar. Then they said they would purchase a new one and call me. They never called. I went back and they said they're not replacing my dog's collar, she would mail me the old dingy one they tried to give me before! First of all, THAT WASN'T MY DOGS COLLAR!, second, why would you mail me anything when I'm standing in front of your face! Dumbest shit I ever heard. I would never patronize this place again and will tell everyone I know to never patronize this place. read more
