The Thai iced tea was very sweet even for my taste, but I still enjoyed it and expect it would be more refreshing if the weather wasn't so cold as it is now. The wait time was maybe 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all, and the cashier was very cheerful and pleasant. The food cart is in the back of a fairly vacant lot, so there's not much to comment on when it comes to ambiance. Overall, it's an excellent choice for takeout that I recommend enthusiastically, and I hope I get to try more of their food next time I'm in the area. :-]

Unfortunately, I came away pretty disappointed. Everything except the pork belly was actually really good. The rice had a good texture and separate grains. The fried egg was crispy and had a nice runny yolk. The cucumbers had a nice thickness and crunch to them (could been colder though). The prik nam pla (fish sauce, chiles, maybe a little lime?) was really great -- something about the flavor really popped for me and was tasty. And everything was served hot and fresh. But the pork belly sucked, and that kinda ruined the dish for me. The fatty parts weren't melt-in-your-mouth at all. They were just chewy. The skin wasn't crispy, it also was chewy. The meaty parts weren't juicy at all, they were tough. I dunno, everything about it seemed wrong. And getting the pork belly right seems like a crucial part of the overall dish. After eating maybe 1/3 of the pieces of pork belly, hoping each time that the bad pieces were just outliers, I gave up and just pushed the rest of them to the side while I ate the rest of the dish. The redemption was definitely the biscuit! Wow! One of the best biscuits I've ever had, buttery and moist. The jam selections seemed impressive. The blueberry vanilla basil jam was delightful though a bit on the sweet side. All in all, I would definitely come back but would probably not get a breakfast sandwich. Honestly, I think of this quiche often. For starters, crust was so buttery and flakey. I love a little roasted corn moment. The green chiles + pepper jack cheese create an underlying layer of heat. Perfect to balance out the sweetness. The quiche is substantial enough to share, though I admit, I could have demolished the whole thing. Catch them if you can because a personal quiche is the most perfect farmer's market treat.
