Always good service no matter what the type of repair that is needed is. I have had oil changes as well as purchased new tires from them.

STOP TAKING YOUR CAR HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. Went for the first and only time for a simple oil change and tire rotation was free. Anytime I drive above 40 miles an hour my car now sounds like it is going to take flight after the tire rotation. My car had never made a noise before this instance. I went to get another oil change today and a Valvoline like I have in the past and they were unable to change my oil due to the problems cause at my last oil change. They said my oil filter cap was over tightened and rounded out. I now have to replace the cap because of their mistake. The person I spoke to was short with me and unhelpful. I do not recommend going to this place if you want quality honest service. I was met with excuses and rudeness. read more

I went for an oil change and tire rotation yesterday 3-1-25 and I've noticed that they weren't done because I was watching. I ask Mike, the Assistant Manager and he said he did them and I said I was watching the whole time and he didn't, but I 'm not going to argue with you. I was out in 20 minutes. On my receipt, he didn't even put that on the paperwork. I go back today, 3-2-25 and the coupon was for $39.00 oil change and tire rotation. I told Mike that I have the coupon and the make and model of my car. He never said anything to me. I was watching the mechanic and he was putting air in my tires. When Mike came in to do something on the computer, I said how come the mechanic is putting air in my tires and he didn't even rotate them. He answer, I don't know. I said you guys are trying to scam me. I continued watching him and eventually, after 15 minutes he started to rotate the tires. When it was all said and done, it was about an hour, compared to yesterday, so I know the tires were not rotated. Mike said ok, it will be $99 and change and I said no way, I have a coupon and you knew about it. He said it needed special oil or something to that effect and I said you should have to me that the price is going to be different because I would have said, I'll go elsewhere. I said I'm not paying it so I don't know what you're going to do. He got it down to $57 and change. I wasn't going to pay, but I did and said I will call Steve in the morning because I've been coming to him for years. I said I know that he did not recheck my tire pressure, and I was right, he didn't. I had to go back in and Mike adjusted them. Not paying attention, as I was riding home, I don't know what made me look at the sticker they put on the car to tell you when your next appointment is due. The mechanic put today's date 3-2-25 and the mileage was the same as I it was when I bought it in. I called Mike back and told him and he said I can come back and he'll put the correct sticker on it. I said forget it. It's a shame, but they lost me as a customer. I really like Steve, but since he hired a new Assistant Manger, the service has gone down. CUSTOMER'S BEWARE! Make sure you watch everything they do on your car, because they seam to skip over on what you are there to get done! read more

I've been using this shop for all my maintenance for 2 vehicles for about 10 years. The pricing had always been inconsistent for various services, but within $10 of previous charges, so I often overlooked it. Also, if you showed them a previous invoice for the same service, they would usually adjust the price to match their charges from a few months prior. Today, I had the exact same service that I had just 5 months ago, and the charge doubled. When I presented the invoice from 5 months ago, I was told that "corporate" changed their pricing policy and as a result their were several add-on charges that I was never charged for before. End result, the bill was double from what I paid for the same service 5 months ago. Too many games with pricing. Go elsewhere. I'll be looking for a new shop. read more

Stopped in and spoke to Steve about setting an appointment to install a new air conditioner compressor for the climate control system. We were fortunate that they were able to install it that day and picked the car up that evening. Only blip was we did encounter a refrigeration leak about a week later but Nicholas took the car in and solved the issue of the leak, recharged and retested the system at no additional charge. Otherwise this would be a five-star review. Job was done on time, for exactly what they said it would cost. A/C is blowing cold! Thank you. I would recommend this shop. read more

I've used this location a few times now and never had issue until today. Your so-called Manager Nicholas was hostile and chose to use vulgar language towards me to a point where another customer in the lobby advised him to drop the language when speaking to me. Nicholas chose not to decease yelling and cursing and continued to berate me and at this point the other customer repeated for him to "lose the language". At this point Nicholas cursed and yelled at him. The gentleman told him to not touch his car and bring it out to him. This whole time, Heather is telling and pushing Nicholas to go back into the bay area. I brought my car in for a charge in the a/c. I was phoned and spoke to Steve who said, "the charge would cost $290.00". I said please go ahead and charge it. We picked up the car at the end of the day and then drove home (3 min ride) and parked it in the driveway overnight. The next day the a/c doesn't feel cool, feels the same way when we dropped it off and noticed a neon green liquid (freon) on the front and side passenger windshields. I called to request we bring it back so that they can re-look at it and see the freon on the windshields. When I walked into drop off the keys, Nicholas comes out and I said "hi, how are you?" and his response was "horrible". He came out to the car and then showed us all of the freon that was on the inside of the car and said the hose(s) had a leak or it could be something else, but he would need to look at it and get some pricing. I said please do and call me. He was quite apparent by his demeanor he was having a bad morning. Received a VM from Nicholas and when I called back to speak to Nicholas, Heather got onto the line. Heather said, "the parts are not available to them, and we would have to take it to the dealership." And they would charge it under their "warranty". When I arrived to get the car, I was told the keys were in the car and it was running. (Why???) I do not understand why the leak wasn't found by them and now we are out $266.55 and have to pay more to go to a dealership. We use Monro and not the dealership to save money. I re-iterated I was not given the scenarios of something else coming up that would be wrong with the unit. I was advised of the cost to charge it, nothing more was said. Why wouldn't they give me the scenarios of what if there was a leak was it would then cost this, this and this and oh by the way we don't have those parts. Why would I pay to charge the unit and risk them not completing the job because they can't get the parts. It's part of their job to educate their consumer. It's also part of their job, and their mission statement, to treat each customer with "professionalism and courtesy". Far from it. I have never been spoken to like that before by a manager, or employee, of any business. I phoned corporate and am expecting a call from their district manager, Jim. read more

I've taken my car here several times over the past year and didn't think I had any problems until recently. The last time I brought my car in it was for an alignment. My car was better but still misaligned. I brought it in two more times to get this problem fixed and each time it seemed like they didn't even try to fix it. I had to pay another 70 dollars to get my alignment fixed. Additionally, I got my tires changed here and I didn't find out until 6 months later that they put a size too small on my car. I spent over 300 dollars on brand new tires and needed to replace all the tires after six months because they wore out more quickly due to being the wrong size. I've also brought my car here for regular oil changes. For a while I thought that my car was leaking oil but when I took it to another mechanic they told me that it wasn't leaking but that the oil was overfilled. Needless to say I won't be returning here and I wouldn't recommend trusting them with your car. read more

I told her to use her 4way flashers and head to the Monro on Kuser Rd. Steve the manager was gracious enough to put the car on the lift while she waited and reattached the heat shield that had come loose. She was back on the road in 15 minutes. In need of an oil change and tire rotation and not wanting to waste my Good Friday holiday I decided to give Monro Muffler a try. It is located right down the street from my gym Body Rehab. I figured, put the bike in the truck, drop off the truck, ride my bike to the gym then when I finish my workout I can go ride back and pickup the truck. So, early morning Friday I went to give it a try. The man at the register asked if I had a reservation which I did not. No problem he says, I can get the truck in and start working on it in fifteen minutes. I return three hours later and I discover that they just started working on the truck. I inquired as to what happened to cause the delay. He informed me that they got busy. I asked what about FIFO (First-In-First-Out)? No reply. I then remarked that it was my first time here and was not having a good experience. Still, no reply. I guess I will not be going back! read more

If you value your car please do not bring it to this shop!!! These people are only oil change mechanics and they cannot actually fix cars! I bought a car to them and paid 8 grand for work. The work was done incorrectly and I have had to bring the car back 7 times over the past 8 months putting my job at jeopardy. In addition, they put incorrect parts (was an engine) in the car and had to order additional/correct parts later on. Those new parts are thousands of dollars less than what the original parts were and they are refusing to refund our money. Steve and the DM Chris just didn't want to be bothered to do the work right and we have recorded calls of them being super unprofessional. Now they are saying the car needs thousands of dollars of other work which makes not sense unless they damaged something because I haven't actually had the car back for more than a week in 7 months. I have been afraid to drive it because it sounds horrible and runs horribly. I am actually speaking to a lawyer today and will be suing these frauds. I am warning you all, please don't being your car here. It will be the biggest mistake you make! read more

I don't even think I should give this place a star , my warranty come gave them as a in network shop , so I call them to drop my truck off . My check engine light was on , went there told them what the problem was they call me after a few phone calls to my warranty company, was told that the work wasn't covered ok was told it would be $1300 + I told the shop owner that it was time for my truck to be inspected , and what work could be done to have my truck pass inspection, he told me 700$+ so I was ok don't matter I will have to get the work done told him to go a head and fix it all 14060+ got the truck and next day the light was on call them he said bring it back , New flash he call me told me that my sensors are bad and the company recommends that after 100 thousands miles they should be change didn't he have the truck there with over 100 thousands miles now he want me to pay to have them done , what he didn't know is that I already took the truck to auto zone a few days before and that was the report so he should have known this , charge me for a bunch of other things but the problem thanks you sir guess because I am a woman I don't know a dam thing I will be taking my truck to some where that I won't get ripped off read more

Beware for taking your car here for a simple oil change. Took my car in and the oil change only took 20 mins from the time I drove in to the time they were done--I should have known something was up since it was done so quickly... The next day I drive to the supermarket and come home to find a leak under my car and when I had someone check where the leak was coming from come to find out Monroe only hand tightened the oil pan bolt so my oil was all leaking out. Its a good thing I noticed this right away only because if all the oil would have leaked out my engine could have ceased and really caused a serious problem! It's sad that I have to leave a bad review only because I've been going to this place for years and never had a problem--I think now they just don't have pride in their work and take on too many jobs. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I should never have returned to Monro after my first horrible experience. But, it's close to my home. And, somehow I found myself there on three separate occasions. I must be a glutton for punishment, as each visit was worse than the last. I first stopped in for an oil change. Within a couple of days, I began to notice the smell of what I thought was gasoline. I took the car to another local automotive place where they discovered that Monro had failed to replace my oil cap. As a result, oil had spewed all over my engine...hence the odor. Simple mishap? Perhaps. So, when I found I had a slow leak in one of my tires, I gave Monro another chance. They were to patch the tire. Change the oil & rotate the tires. When I picked it up, everything looked to be in order. However, on closer inspection, I found that the tires had not been rotated. I swore I'd never return to Monro. But, a few months later, I decided to give them one last chance, and stopped in for an oil change. Less than 2 months later, my "check engine" light came on. I took it to the shop I had taken it to when the oil cap was left off. They asked me when I last had my oil changed. I told them it hadn't been that long...a couple of months maybe. Their response? Monro must have forgotten to change it, because I only had about a quart of oil in there, and it was black! Needless to say, I will not be returning to Monro for anymore shoddy or nonexistent work. Our family has a total of five vehicles, the oldest being a 1984 Chevy and Monro is the ONLY place we take our vehicles to for anything. The manager is very friendly, knowledgable and professional who takes the time to listen to my concerns and answers all my questions. All our repairs we have had done were done in a timely professional manner and ALWAYS fixed right the first time. The staff all seem to be very knowledgable and very thorough when the are doing a job. There is no "garage attitude" there, I never feel like a number, it's almost like family. Prior to finding Monro, we always went to the dealer for all routine things as well as any repairs that needed to be made. The charges we paid to the dealer verses what Monro charge are amazing, it is so hard to believe I paid a dealer all that money all these years!! I would high recommend Monro to anyone looking for something as quick as an oil change or even something as big as a new motor installed. I would never go anywhere else!! read more

never expeirianced that before went in 8/10/2016 to do alignment for my car simple basic mechanic can do it in 30 min dropped the car they called me after an hour to tell me my rear brake pads 100$ need to be changed I said OK another hour to tell me my rear left brake caliper is seized and they have to changed it too how much 45 ok they called last time to tell me to pick it up the bill is 613$ and some change because they changed the the back rotors which is 311$ no body said anything about rotors any way I was in hurry driving it realize the car is not aligned but I have to go to work at night next day after finishing my shift I waited until they opened told them the car is worst then before they told my they are booked so i have to come next day which I couldn't instead I told them I will come Monday when Im off dropped the car monday after 2 hours the called me to tell me car is ready, went he told me I aligned your car but because your car is 2001 so the pushing is bad and need to change or the alignment will go off again !!!!! so why you charged me for alignment if my car can't be aligned ???? and aligned it again you just discovered that now I paid $613 just to fix my alignment was it more sensible to fix the pushing and leave the f-brake alone anyway again left the shop very mad driving the car I discovered new sound swerving I couldn't drive I stopped and called another mechanic to check it left it on jack 2min he told me your balljoint was about to fell from the car no pushing problems , the first thing you check when you do alignment in the whole world is ball joint they didn't check any thing , he was just trying to raise the bill with jobs he can do and may be the ball joint is above his level or experties ,don't recommend going there read more
