I generally like the Monroe Superstore it's close and convenient. Jeremy Jenning's is a friend of mine and is a great new car salesperson. I would recommend seeing him, and if you think about it tell him, I recommended you. Get a lot of my work done on my Jeep Wrangler there but sometimes it is pricier to get dealership work, and when that's the case I go elsewhere. I just had some recall work done on my Jeep and the service guy quoted me 2-5 hours to get the job done. I thought that was a big-time gap and thought it should have been more precise but to top it off it took 7 hours. I had to call them three times to find out when it was going to be done. I think the guy I was dealing with was new or something. I wanted to be kept up to date on my vehicle as that affects my plans. So for the service department, I give them two stars rating and say they need to keep their customers up to date and call them back promptly. They do offer shuttle service which I think is nice and important to me as I could need this service. Lol glad I didn't decide to wait there for this last job, ie, the 7-hour job. I also rate their parts department only two stars. I called about a part for my Jeep that they did not have in stock and they refused to give me the part number. When asked why I couldn't get the part number they said because then you will find the part online for cheaper and we lose business. Won't be buying parts here anymore! Called another Jeep dealership in Toledo and they gave me the part number and was fine with me ordering the part online somewhere else. read more

This place is a joke. The service manager is a joke. Do not waste your time or money going to Monroe Dodge. They are scammers and it's sickening. They claim they don't accept the tire and wheel protection that I have through Dodge. Patched my tires without making sure with me first, resulting in my warranty being voided on two of my tires and they don't care to try to resolve the issue. They continue to lie. If you like being lied to and having the run around then this is the place for you. read more

I give this place a zero. Scheduled first appointment online for a Saturday and then was informed they only do oil changes on Saturday. Rescheduled and took my vehicle in for a 7:30 am appointment. No call by 11 am so I called and was informed the tech was looking at it right now. Husband called again at 2 pm and left a message. Was told someone would call in 15-20 minutes. At 4 pm I went to pick up my car. No one had looked at it. Went to speak to the manager and was met with defensiveness and rudeness. No apologies. Just excuses. She treated me and my husband terribly. One phone call to explain the delay would have made this a much better situation. Instead, I was lied to and treated terribly. I guess when we go to buy a new truck, it won't be here! read more

The latest incident - they replaced the engine about three months ago. Work requirements meant I had to leave the vehicle parked for about a third of the time. Eventually, the engine coolant level dropped. So, I took her in to see what was going wrong. Turns out, one of the cooling hoses was too short to fit the new engine properly. But, since they didn't replace the hoses during the engine change (when they should have), I was charged for the diagnosis and repair. I protested to no avail. This is the second time they've burned me - there will not be a third. I will go to the next closest dealership (about 25 miles further) in hopes of finding someone who stands behind their work. read more

The sales department is awesome, however, the service department, not so much. They are the rudest I have ever encountered. They are rude and then deny it when called out on it. Had I known this I would never have bought this vehicle from them at all. I work hard for my money and its disheartening to be treated like this. bought a used 2010 Jeep Patriot at the end of August... it's currently in the shop already after breaking down on the side of the road. it needs a new clutch (which was already replaced once... 2 clutches in a vehicle with 51,000 miles???) Throw out baring and slave cylinder, and 2output seals, + 6hrs labor. I took it to another dealership that was closer to where it was broke down and was told that this was something that could have been seen with a proper inspection. I have only made my 3 car payments!! I will never buy a car from this place or have my vehicle serviced there. I do not trust them at all. There goes my Christmas money because surprise surprise NONE of the things wrong are covered under the warranty. I even asked about the sound it was making within a week of purchase and I was literally told "that's just what Jeeps sound like" I should have taken it in right then but I thought I could trust their word. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere!!! **update July 6th 2016** since my initial review I had to replace the entire transmission, if that's not enough, the oil pump, the oil pan, and all the struts... oh and some mystery issue that NO ONE can figure out (I even called Chrysler directly and was told they didn't know what to tell me) -- the vehicle just shuts off while driving. It's as if I pulled the keys out... sits for an hour and starts up. Battery and starter and alternator are all fine. I had them inspected by 3 places. Super safe huh?! I haven't owned this vehicle for a year yet! This place sold me a vehicle with more issues than its even worth! I paid $11,000 for it and have paid more in repairs than actual car payments. I can't get rid of it because I'm not far enough into the loan. It's been a constant worry and stress in my life. You want to be able to trust your vehicle (and the people who sell it to you), not cross your fingers that it won't break down AGAIN... read more

I had been a customer of Monroe Dodge, then I had a tuneup that wound up at $1,200.00. They replaced an EGR as part of it, that was 2009, now that EGR is faulting, now they said the repair would be up to $450.00. An Ohio competitor said it would cost $180.09 COMPLETE. Monroe Dodge almost made me swear off Chrysler, then I called their competitor and may have changed my mind. read more
