The staff are friendly and great. They listen carefully and answer all of my questions. Dr. Haring worked on my tooth today and gave detailed advice. He told me to be careful if I was drinking something hot while I was still numb, and suggested that I touch any liquid with my finger to ensure it wasn't too hot. After all the dental work that I have had, that was the first time anyone had given me that tip. He also reminded me to be careful if I ate anything before the medication wore off, and to chew softly. I appreciated the care from everyone today.

The 40-some-year-old metal filling of an upper molar I had done when I was a kid broke several…read moremonths ago, and the tooth essentially broke in two but stayed in my jaw, requiring it to be pulled and an implant for a replacement to be done. Dr. Gomes got me in right away to perform the removal, and several months later he did the implant for a new crown. He told me the implant wouldn't be as bad as the extraction of the broken tooth. The removal wasn't that bad, but the implant was amazing. I had not a pang of pain, bit of swelling or drop of blood following the implant procedure. Other than now feeling a little bump in the vacant spot where the tooth had been, I can't tell I had an hour-long procedure done. He and his assistant and the staff are always friendly and professional.

Considering the circumstances, the office couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. They make it really easy to schedule and they will update you via your preferred contact method. I was given all pre- and post-op instructions over text, which I much prefer to a phone call. Dr. Patel is amazing--he's funny, efficient, and really makes you comfortable in his care. Love him! The second time he started the visit by reprimanding me for not getting 8 cavities filled at my last visit, again he had mixed up my chart with another patient. The last straw was when at a visit I told him I had been waking up in the morning with a tense jaw and was afraid that I had developed night time grinding and asked for recommendations on how to manage it. He rolled his eyes and said, "just stop". Not exactly the most helpful suggestion for managing an involuntary activity when you're asleep. I switched dentists and discovered that I have a misalignment contributing to night time bruxism which was treated with a bite guard and adjustment.
