We were looking for something fun to do on a quiet afternoon when most others were either in school or at work, and we happened upon Monster Mini Golf. The location offered a two lane bowling alley with kid-friendly balls, glow-in-the dark mini-golf, two party rooms, and an arcade full of interactive games. In addition to your standard arcade games like driving simulators and shooting missions, they had a giant Pac-Man and amusements, like Skee-Ball, that would reward you with tickets to be exchanged for prizes. We hosted our 5 year olds birthday party here and everything was excellent!! We chose the 10am- noon party so we could have the entire place to ourselves. The party hostesses (Sophia and Madison) were excellent and were engaged with the kids the entire party and did an excellent job setting up all of the food. They allowed us to bring in some of our own food as well. The place is super clean and well maintained and it was a relaxing atmosphere having it to ourselves especially with little ones. My wife found a Groupon of some sort and we piled in with all five of our kids. I love the space, I love the ambiance. I love the challenging course. It was a lot of fun. Part of me did not like that there wasn't much in the way of snacks for the kids or other games for them to try and enjoy, but really the whole point was to come and play mini-golf. Rather, mini-monster golf. I can also understand that snacks would likely end up making a mess everywhere. I still would have liked some sort of food or snacks to eat in some way. They did have a few party spaces on the side. It was overall a fun experience that my kids loved and enjoyed. Unless you are playing multiple rounds, you are funneled right into the play space and then led right through to the end where you finish the tour of the space and are done. I got invited to monster mini golf in Paramus for my buds kids birthday party and I loved it , especially meeting the many single gals who have to babysit these brats. Big place with a monster glow in the dark theme via miniature golf, mini bowling and a bunch of fun arcade games especially air hockey . Place is big enough to get adapted to the semi darkness glow vibe and there are areas to sit if you need a break. It's mostly caters to the little ones which is cool cause they won't get bored and start to act up . Little mini golf , little bowling , little bit of arcade fun and now it's to the birthday room to eat some birthday cake . This was my first time mini-golfing and it was a lot of fun! I really liked that everything was glow in the dark, and all of the monsters everywhere. BF and I came on New Year's Eve at around 3 pm and it wasn't too packed, thankfully. One game, which is 18 holes, costs $10.50 for adults. There's also a small arcade. There aren't that many games but they have most of your classic arcade games - basketball, skee ball, air hockey, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, etc. We got the $15 card (which comes with a $3 bonus) but we went through most of the games we wanted to play. Towards the last few bucks, we started to play games just to use up all of the credit. Tip - if you check in on Yelp, you get a free credit to play the laser game but I think it was kind of broken. So if you don't get to play, you're not missing out on anything. Would definitely recommend this place for kids, or if you're looking for a fun/cute date night idea. read more

I remember going to MMG a lot in high school and having a lot of fun with my friends. The times haven't changed! My partner and I visited on a rainy Wednesday night, luckily, it wasn't too busy. Such a great family activity right in Paramus! Came here around 4:30p and it was rather crowded for a Wednesday. (I would assume because kids are on spring break) Three people for golf & arcade card was a total of $54. I felt that was reasonable for the amount of time we were there. Temperature checks were taken and there was sanitizers all over which definitely came in handy. I did not see any employees cleaning the arcade area, so I do recommend bringing your own wipes. My son loves miniature golf, so adding monsters and glow effects to golf is amazing. The location has video games as well. So it wasn't a surprise that my son wanted to have his birthday party at Monster Mini Golf. I can't rave about how planning a birthday party there is so stress-free for the mom and a ton of fun for a large group of 7-year-old boys. So I got here about 5:30pm, holiday weekend? And completely my fault (I should've known they were closing early), but Victoria was amazing with making sure we still had enough time to do some things. Arcades here are the attraction for Junior and this is a convenient side destination when he's bored and I'm out of clever ideas. $20 gets you $25 on a card that works in all the machines. I have played glow in the dark mini golf before, but I wanted to check out Monster Golf. Obviously, it is intended more for kids, but there is nothing wrong with adults playing glow in the dark mini golf. So for the kids and the young at heart, it is a good time! They are very theme oriented with the Monster/Halloween theme. Art is awesome on the walls, and the holes can be challenging. Suitable music (great playlist actually), fun decor, and friendly staff often approaching us as we played with Monster themed trivia questions for prizes. The mini putt course itself was fun, but compared to others we have done, it was lacking a bit. It is wide open, just separated by ground level barriers. Other places have more separated "rooms", but the result is the same. I think that is my only real strike against it. If it was much busier, I think it would have felt crowded and cramped because of how open it is. There is an arcade that wasn't the worst I've seen. Instead of fumbling around with tokens, you paid at the cashier for a swipe card, which kept track of the tokens spent, and the prize tickets won. read more

I'd like to start of my warning all adults coming here (with no kids) that this place resembles a chuck e cheese destination but with mini golf and yes there's a mini arcade as well. You'll see swarms of kids and toddlers running around especially if you happen to go during one of their birthday party events. There was no other group I saw that didn't have at-least one toddler with them. What really attracted me to this location was it's unique aesthetic decoration. Dark light was also a plus. The 18 hole course looked small but you'd actually spend maybe 45 mins to complete the course if you go at a moderate pace. One thing that was annoying was the wait time between each hole for one party to clear before going. The arcade itself had a few good machines. Reminds me of Dave and busters. The basketball game was probably my favorite. For $15 bucks we got around 240 points. To put it in perspective that's enough for a couple small prizes. read more

Always great for the kids. The way how this place is decked out in glow-in-the-dark is awesome. The kids love the decor and the mini golf is great for them keep them entertained for hours. And if you don't want to do minigolf there's a ton of arcade games for them as well but trust me the mini golf is where it's at. There's also a lot of interactive things going on within the meaning of some of the monsters move and the minigolf is not easy it is extremely difficult at times. This place is good for groupsParties adults and the whole family. I went during the day and when you go inside and come back outside you really can't believe it's daylight outside because inside is so dark and everything close and it's just awesome. I cannot express how much fun my boyfriend and I had! Spoiler alert: we'll be back again! 1) The mini golf course was a lot of fun. The course was had a good number of holes; challenging but not overly so. They also have arcade games like air hockey and video games. It's not a huge number of games, but certainly a good variety of new and classic stuff. You pay by scanning a game card, and some games give you tickets which can be exchanged for prizes. And the party rooms are big and nicely decorated. 2) The monster theme and décor is really cool, especially the murals on the walls. Yes, there are monsters, bats, skulls, etc., but by no means is it scary. Some stuff is pretty subtle while other things are cartoonish, so still very family friendly. It can be loud and a lot of flashing lights though, so be prepared for the increased stimuli. 3) The staff was very nice and friendly. Everything was neat and clean. The store locates in a one floor plaza. The entrance is actually in the back. There are plenty of parking spot. The front half is the gaming area. There are two dinging rooms in the back, easily hosting a party of 40. Further back is a mini golf in the dark. Clubs, balls, and all monsters gloom in the reverse black light. All the 18 holes are on the floor level and easy to handle, EXCEPT hole 6. It is an impossible par one, even for professionals. I like the hygiene hand wash located at the course exit. The staffs are funny and can make lots of noise over the loud music. It is tricky for using the bathroom. Unlike the normal men-left rule, the lady's locates on the left. The doors were painted with witch for girl and monster for guys. One more thing. They do not have staff to hold you coat/jacket. Everyone have to hang their jackets on the hook next to the dining room. It is very easy to grab the wrong ones in the dark. As a direct result, my wife lost her expensive winter coat. My boyfriend and I came here WITHOUT kids and had a blast. I'm not sure if that's a reflection of the place or us but either way I'd recommend a visit. It has a fun atmosphere - who doesn't like glow in the dark? - and there are also arcade games to play. There aren't as many as I would've liked but it's still a good time. I was torn between a 4-star and 5-star but after thinking about to past birthday parties for my kids - it was easy to give this a stellar rating. (And all the kids and their parents couldn't help but rave about how much fun they had.) We'd gotten the VIP package (a 10am start-time proved a bit of a challenge for more than a few of our family and friends) and there's really nothing better than having the entire place to yourself (minus a few people coming in accidentally because they meant to hit the Monster Golf on Rt. 46). And the staff - all younger kids - were beyond helpful and cool and kept the party smoothly moving from one activity to the next. While it's not much to look out from the outside - you can't help but be impressed when you're inside. The devil (monster pun!) is in the details and it's really a nice touch that not only is the mini-golf course loaded with cool artwork and scary features (a few of the younger kids at our party came away scared/crying) but the party room was completely done up with the whole monster/goth motif (if you've ever been to the countless "Jump On It/Bounce U" type of places - where the kids congregate for food and cake is usually a very bland/boring/hospital-like - but not here). Even the cheesy prizes at the end of the day after your kids have amassed countless tickets from the dozen or so arcade games are a step-up from the down-the-shore-made-in-China items you're probably used to. Monster Mini Golf has one of the best looking mini golf courses i have ever seen! They house a full 18 hole mini golf course that's completely glow in the dark. All the holes, the balls, clubs, and majority of the course glows under all the black lights on the ceiling. They have some really cool props and murals painted that really make everything about the environment pop. They usually have a DJ playing some music which is awesome.They have a small arcade consisting of your basic video games, basketball hoops, ski-ball, air hockey and all that good stuff. In the back there are 2 nice party rooms for birthdays and special events. Finding the place could be a little tricky but just use a GPS; parking is abundant. By far the most fun outing you can have for any age group!! The arcade games are fun and the credits are added using a card which you would load with money and avoid the hassle of quarters and change etc. My two year old had a blast playing air hockey with has those cams that show winning goals each time someone scores! He loved looking at himself and they have the little step stools to help the little guys reach! The golf itself was fun too since there are dark (but still friendly) decorations and you golf in dimly lit areas throughout. Very very fun! I highly recommend you visit.
