Now, I'm not a local and I don't usually go to bars that allow smoking inside, but I was pleasantly surprised after walking into the front door of Montana's. The atmosphere is very surprising inside with neat lighting around the bars, tons of seating, dance floor, and clean clean bathrooms. I went for karaoke night and to catch up with some friends and I had a great time and met some fun, polite new people. The smoking inside is almost unnoticeable and my clothes didn't even smell like smoke when I left. Drinks are inexpensive and very tasty. There are defiantly some people in the bar who have sour faces and obviously want to say some things to the newcomers frequenting the place, but they are pretty easy to ignore. Go if you're in the area and have a pleasant time in a country bar with great karaoke. read more

Good service, but few food options. Either pizza or chips. Mike (Bouncer and manager at this location) is an a-hole sometimes, but usually tolerable. There's karaoke Wednesday through Saturday with Tracy, who is awesome, but the music hasn't been updated in a couple of years. As for the drinks, the selection is fair and the prices are low. They have specials all the time too. Also, Korra is an awesome bartender. Side note: The place is usually kinda dead, but some Fridays and Saturdays it's busy. You never know here. read more

So popped back in a few weeks ago on a Thursday and they had $5 shot and a beer which is pretty amazing but they also brought steak night back into the mix and it was delicious! $12 for a steak with a salad and potato on the side. read more

Montana ' s if they are in business a year from now it will be a god given miracle. Me and a friend of mine went into Montana ' s on 1/20/15 @ about 11:30 pm and ordered drinks and they were having Karaoke and the music was pretty loud to where it was difficult to talk and hear each other. Having started in the music industry in 1963 and then went on to become an audio engineer. I thought I would lend a helping hand to the girl working the mixing board. She stated she didn't know much about that system ( which was a very poor set up) and I asked if I could help her, she was sweet and good with customers and she said sure....so I did and the next thing I know a fellow by the name Mike shows up looking like he just got out of bed and ask the girl behind the board if someone had messed with the board. She told him yes that was me, he asked and I told him yes I did, his next reply in a very rude tone told me to get out!!! So my friend had to go with me. I explained to him that is not the way you treat customers that were referred by others to check this place out. Little does Mike know he now has lost 12 customers in one night. And we didn't get our money back for our drinks we had to leave there! So I will be contacting the owner to see if he or she has a business attitude or one like Mikes. Went with a crowd of 10 for my birthday to do karaoke with the beautiful Ms Tracy and were met with "We no longer do karaoke on Saturday night because no one dances". The bartender Chris asked us to tell him why they should but as each of us explained we were met with rude remarks and even as far as Chris and a patron cussing half of our group! Even after Chris admitted we were ALWAYS the biggest crowd they ever got.....needless to say...WE ALL WALKED OUT!! read more

I would not recommend this place of business to anyone. The public records show the owner to be Tina McMahan and if she cared at all about this place she would make many changes. I think she doesn't care and is using this hole in the wall as a tax write off. The night I went the bar manager Big Mike was in a fist fight at the front door with his female bar tender and was screaming at a guy that was trying to break it up they he better get the f*** away or he would beat his a**.The bartender drove off with blood on her from the fight. He told the gentleman that was trying to help the woman I'm the f****ING bar manager I'll do whatever I want. The place is dark and if you don't smoke, don't go in. That night was karaoke night and the woman doing the music was announcing drink specials. She said Rolling Rock for 2 bucks, so I went to order a Rolling Rock only to be told after standing there for 10 minutes and oh BTW the bar had 10 people in it, we don't have any. I approached Mike and told him I had an issue with being told you had rolling rock on special and you don't please ask the lady to stop saying you havevit. He was very rude and said we have Heineken for 2 bucks and if I didn't like it I could f***in leave his bar. Not what you say to a person with money in their pocket to spend. If something doesn't change, which truly the owners don't care someone will get killed as this is not the first time so I heard from the few regulars there talked about. A bar manager works with the bar customers, doesn't fight with a female bartender and should not be walking around with a beer in his hand.. Find another place to spend your money. I will never go there again and advise people to do the same. The police should have been called but they handle it in house. In fear of Mike. I would of picked no stars at all, but had to put at least 1 to write this review, but it doesn't deserve any at all. read more

Popped back into this place after months of avoiding it due to issues with management, and lucky me, they have new employees and a new manager! Much more relaxed, much less drama as a result. Will definitely visit more frequently again. read more
