The biggest issue was the complete lack of consistency and professionalism regarding our contract. In my experience, the owner was very quick to enforce the contract when a term benefited her, but when it came to honoring terms and expectations that benefited me as the paying customer, suddenly that same contract did not seem to matter. Even worse, the owner TURNED OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR EVENT. My guests were left uncomfortable during a celebration that I paid good money to host. There is absolutely no reason paying customers and their guests should have to deal with something like that during an event. Her attitude toward my guests was also unacceptable. She was rude and made people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Instead of enjoying my event and spending time with my family and guests, I was forced to deal with unnecessary stress and tension caused by the person who was supposed to be providing the venue and service. You only get ONE opportunity to celebrate certain milestones. I cannot get that time back. After all the money, planning, preparation, and effort that went into this event, I should have been able to actually enjoy it--not spend it dealing with an owner who made both me and my guests uncomfortable. If you are considering booking this venue, READ EVERY SINGLE LINE OF YOUR CONTRACT and get absolutely everything in writing. Do not assume that because something was discussed or agreed upon that it will be handled professionally on the day of your event. I paid to enjoy my celebration, not to be stressed out, uncomfortable, or made to feel like an inconvenience at a venue I PAID FOR. I would never book this venue again, and based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend it to anyone planning an important event.

The venue provided so many items- plates, utensils, tables, chairs and linens- which is great- a few less things to think of! They also provided a vendor list in which I used 2 vendors from - great experience with both! On the day of , the staff was ready and professional at all times. I had to move out the start time by an hour and they were quick to adjust. Throughout the night they cleaned up and were ready for the next item- cake cutting- late night snack. Ultimately, we paid far too much for food that was removed HOURS before the party was over (I found the staff helping themselves with no intention of bringing it back out), we paid for double protein servings for 55 and barely fed 35 before it all disappeared, we prepaid for alcohol (or they charge you $500 for use of the bar AND for the individual drinks), and someone took off with the birthday cake and that had to be tracked down. My mom had a good time, but it's hard not to feel completely ripped off by this process. Next time, it'll be anywhere but here. Very pretty venue, but the service just wasn't what we paid for at all.
