So, I was pleasantly surprised when the server turned a fan on us and we were comfortable in the shade. The café is open air and well placed for people watching if you enjoy that sort of thing. While we were seated and elderly local woman who was sweet as can be walked up to us and carried on a very one sided conversation in Spanish without ever entering the restaurant. She said "Llámame 'mamá'." Then walked off. Priceless. The food was surprising and delightful. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak, which seemed risky in Mexico but was spot on. She had the bowtie spinach pasta, which was light, creamy, and flavorful. The garlic bread was generic and a bit over-toasted for my taste. Service was great and prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our choices and would recommend based on that. I can't speak to the pizza or lasagna, about which others have had negative things to say.

Relative to the restaurant itself and the service, the restaurant definitely had a nice dark vibe to it and would be a good spot if you are looking for a more intimate romantic spot to take your significant other too. It also had some outdoor table dining under string lights on the porch adjacent to the restaurant that was very nice as well. Lastly the service was friendly, fast, with great follow up.
