You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Bui is hands down one of the best in the business. It's no surprise he's consistently recognized as a top dentist in New Jersey. He's also an incredible artist--the office is beautifully decorated with his drawings, and my personal favorite is the Bruce Lee piece. The entire staff is wonderful as well. Eve, Marilyn, and Shanty are always so helpful with appointments, insurance questions, or anything else you may need. You're always greeted with a smile, which makes such a difference. She was very gentle with the numbing needle, rubbed my cheek while she was injecting the numbing needle. Better than most dentists I've been to where they really PRICK you. The dental assistant was also very quick and got all the water so I wasn't choking. The dentist was extremely fast and didn't ask me a bunch of questions, she knew exactly what to do-- It is her job... But still. So impressed and pleased !! Everyone was very friendly no attitude or " I hate my job tone" Only lost one star because it could of been a little cleaner and less clutter in the office. I feel like the office is really old.. I've had the most complicated dental history in the world - overcrowding, crooked teeth, a missing tooth and lack of teeth falling out when I was younger. I had to go for several extractions but they were painless and easy - and I was 10!!!! I feel like getting your teeth pulled out is a huge reason to avoid a dentist at a young age but I didn't even care - and I was a wimp as a kid... I still am. The dental aides are a bit timid, but they're also learning. Whichever aides I've met were students in dental school, or someone looking to gain experience in the field. Also - I have a small mouth and tend not to bite the way I should for a proper x-ray...that's not always the aide's fault - it's mine so I'm sure other patients don't bite the way they should, which results in poor X-rays. As for print outs, just ask. When I had my braces, dr. Jhaveri was in constant contact with my orthodontist to make sure my teeth were straightening themselves out, and making room for an implant. I needed oral surgery for a dental implant, and the surgeon I originally went to wasn't able to confidently say he'd do the surgery. When I came back to my dentist to let him know, he immediately gave me 2-3 other oral surgeons (mostly in queens) and told me if I'd have to pay out of pocket for all/some depending on the doctor. The surgeon he recommended me to did a great job and then Dr. Jhaveri was able to create my crown and match it with my teeth.

I first met Dr. Douglas Kase on the phone in the mid-1990s when I was experiencing terrible pain in a tooth that was supposed to be "dead," given that a general practice dentist had already performed a root canal on it. Dr. Kase listened to my story, vetted my worries, asked questions, speculated aloud as to what the problem might be, advised me on what to do right now, and told me what my options were going forward. He closed by encouraging me to phone again if I had any further questions. In other words, even before I became his patient, he was open and generous, dealing with me like the intelligent human being I am, and answering my questions freely. He was fast, but humane. He was articulate and smart, but never dismissive or peremptory or anything else negative. Just the fact that Dr. Kase had the professional confidence to speculate aloud inspired my confidence in him. It turned out that the root canal needed to be redone. What a revelation to have a root canal procedure performed by Dr. Kase, compared to the original work that had gone wrong. Dr. Kase's was a finely-tuned, sharply-focused, extra-high-standards procedure involving an ultra-efficient interaction between him and his assisting technician. I sensed that I'd been lucky enough to discover a true expert, a master endodontist. My experiences w/ Dr. Kase since then -- unfortunately, I've had to have a few more root canals -- have solidified that extremely positive first impression. As of this writing, my most recent experience was in the summer of 2011. A tooth was acting up, there was a crack in it, and the question was whether or not it was a candidate for root canal. Dr. Kase was as frank and open as ever in sharing his assessment and advice. The forecast for success was low, in this case. In the end, I decided to have the tooth pulled. I knew I'd spring for an implant by Dr. Jutkowitz, an implant specialist whom I cannot recommend too highly. I also dealt in 2011 (and once before that) with another fantastic Musikant and Deutsch doc, Dr. Bui. In closing I'll say that the whole office is fantastic. As a group, the administrative staffers at the front desk are efficient and personable, and seem proud to represent the work of this fine dental practice. The practice at large, with its focus on endodontics, seems to offer the highest level of expertise in this field. A word about cost. I've never had enough cash to pay off the cost of any of Dr. Kase's root canals in full. I've usually paid by credit card. Once, I asked about, and they gave me, a monthly payment plan. I have no regrets about paying top dollar for top dental care, but I think dental insurance should be a LOT better in this country.

I had an appointment the day before my birthday this year and as I was getting out of the chair to leave I see the entire staff walking towards me with candles in a cake singing me happy birthday!! Dr. Weitzer was my fourth interview, and I needed to go no further. I asked lots of questions and he was very precise and clear when describing what I needed. He told me specifically what will be happening in stages and how long I needed to recuperate. We worked out a budget that was very agreeable to us both. He performed the work, and I have not had a bit of trouble since. I am very grateful to Dr. Weitzer for my very healthy mouth!
