Although they only have a few reviews on Yelp, but all are great reviews. We decided to try their service since when we first met Isaiah and Salvador, right away we feel comfortable with them. Their price is very decent and their service is great. Isaiah is quick to reply on our queries. Very professional, explains the issues and solutions, and he is not pushy. They (Isaiah, Salvador and Reuben) installed an a/c condensing unit outside our house, and coil in our attic. They also checked our heating system. They were very careful with their work, and not messy, in other words, considerate with the homeowner's property. All done in a day. Our old gas heater got a cracked heat exchanger so we needed a replacement. While we were at it, the gas hot water heater was over 15 years old we opted to replace that too with a heat pump water heater. Those replacements triggered an electric panel upgrade so we also added a level 2 electric vehicle charger. Isaiah and his crew were great! The bid was quick and fair even with replacing the ducts. The rebates for the equipment and panel upgrades lowered the cost a lot and they handled the paperwork for us. Communication was great so we knew what to expect. They were on time, courteous, and clean even with crawling around the crawlspace under the house and the attic. With so few reviews I'll admit I was a little concerned about hiring Monterey Bay Heating and Cooling to install a new furnace and AC system. However, I'm very happy that we selected this company and highly recommend their service. The first thing that sold me was Isaiah's responsiveness - he was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and came the same day I called to provide a quote. His quote ended up being exactly the same as another local company that took a week to get back to me, and I ended up selecting Isaiah for my business because he was a better communicator and could get the job done more quickly. The project took about a day and a half to dismantle the old furnace and install our first AC system as well as a new, high efficiency furnace. Isaiah and his crew were very professional, efficient, and completely cleaned up everything after they were done. Isaiah even asked if I had leftover paint to touch up the wall after installing a new thermostat which he touched up as a final nice touch to completing the job.
