He is passionate about service and integrity. A true expert as well as determined to find the issue and actually fix it. Our A/C was cooling intermittently. It's a very long story but I'll try to be brief. Last year our A/C wasn't cooling, it was doing this randomly. We called the first company to come out. He cleaned everything, charged the coolant, changed the filter and it worked for the rest of the season but he said he couldn't find the issue. If it persisted we needed a Bryant expert. So this year during that massive heat wave it started that again, I found a company called On Point came out. So called experts in Bryant. The tech was a very young guy, not that I'm an ageist but experience comes with years. After literally 15 mins he said it's too old and it needs to be replaced, there are no parts anymore and he can't find the issue. I believed him until I got the quote. You could buy a house somewhere in the Midwest for what they wanted. Stating we needed not only the unit but to modify pipes, pour a new pad, all kinds of new wiring, cut a hole in my plaster ceiling to accommodate the new coil on and on. It looked like a scam. Here comes the part about Jay. He had done work for me a few years ago with an issue I had with a wine cellar cooler and heat it was generating. He did an amazing job and so I called him. Not only did HE pick up the phone, but he had a break in his schedule and came out that afternoon. Not a week later, that day. Though that was lucky. He sourced the issue after really deep diving. Found a broken part, ordered it, yes it was available, two days later my A/C was fixed and is working perfectly for a fair price! He's honest, diligent and doesn't gouge because of your address. He offered to do a service on the old furnace or give me a quote for a completely new and upgraded one. I went with the new one. He installed a Bryant heater that was more appropriate for our sized house than the one we had been using ("Should save you about 25% in heating costs.") Additionally, he fabricated an access panel in the unit to enable us to change out the filters much more easily. All included in his very fair price. He was able to come back and install it a few days earlier than originally planned . Arrived on time and finished early. I definitely recommend Felipe and his service! 10/10

The only reason I'm not leaving a full five stars is around billing clarity. I was on-site for over two hours and observed that while the electricians were doing the hands-on work, the owner spent a fair amount of that same on-site time managing--taking calls, quoting other jobs, coordinating with contractors, and scheduling future work. That time was billed at the same rate and duration as the electricians actively working on the project. I fully understand that job management, code compliance, material planning, and coordination are real work and add value. Customers should simply be aware that this supervisory time is billed as on-site labor, at approximately $165/hour, and can equal active labor time. Overall, I'm happy with the outcome and would consider using Craft Electric again, knowing I'm paying a premium. This feedback was shared directly with the business, and I was informed that time is billed accurately. Sharing this here so others know what to expect and can avoid surprises--particularly if they're accustomed to overhead being baked into labor rates rather than billed alongside them.
