I am fortunate enough to have a laundry area where I live. Not sure what happened that I ended up at a laundrymat. I think I couldn't find the key to the laundry room or something and I had a lot of laundry to do so I wanted to was a bunch of clothes at once to get it done sooner. So I ended up here. Yikes. It was awful. Most of the washing machines were broken. They wouldn't take your money. It was expensive. I had to use a bigger size washing machine than I wanted. The machines only took change. Most places take credit cards or debit cards. There was a meager sign giving silly information for complaints or problems. It was also a bit dirty and grungy of a place. While washing my clothes I chatted with a lady doing a lot of laundry, she said she usually goes to Pacific Grove to a really nice place. Not sure why she was there, except for the larger washing machines were working. Anyway, I would say...do not go here. It is horrible. read more

This place is now my go to laundromat! I went to this place on Easter hoping it was opening because I was having a laundry emergency! I arrived there about 7pm with arms full of laundry and the door was locked! I was bummed but also understood because it was Easter after all! The owner saw me at the front door looking pretty defeated... She smiled at me and opened the door and let me take care of my laundry! She is such a nice woman! As previously stated in other reviews, a lot of the machines are not working, but you don't know which ones until they eat your quarters, and there's no one working here to get your money returned. The change machine is often out of order and cleanliness is definitely not a priority with the operators. read more

I give this place two stars only on the fact that the employee working here is super nice and watches out for you. He immediately came up to me and let me know the change Machine was broken. Owner is not very responsive to issues. I have been here in the past and it was a good place but I has gone down hill. The surrounding business will not give you change not even for a dollar. Sounds like from them the change Machine is always broken. Ths place needs a remodel with card Machines. Customers are nice and willing to help at times if able. read more

No on takes care of this place, Not only is it dirty and half of the machines and dryers don't work but they have turned it into a laundry service here, you can't even do your laundry because they use all of the washers and dryer's and there's no place for regular customers to come in and do their laundry. I believe they have a new contract with a local business and they don't care about the regular customers now so I would not recommend going here read more

I went on Wednesday at 1pm and Coin machine didn't work, nobody working there, and I luckily found someone else doing laundry there that exchanged cash for coins for me. Also, some washers don't work, and they don't take the coins well. I had to keep putting them in for the machine to keep spitting them out. It was frustrating and won't go back. read more

This place is tidy. However, it is also nasty. Mildew, rust, mold. A front load washer cost me about $3 and the dry for an average size load was $6. All of the machines are super old. HERE IS THE WORST PART I washed and dried my stuff. While in the dryer, the clothes heat up and get all steamy. BUT, for the stuff I have that isn't dryer safe, it all smelled like stinky rotten pond water. So, now I have stuff that is ruined with that weird water algae smell. I'll never be back. read more

I believe the last time this place received proper maintenance was during the Bush administration. And by that, I mean the SENIOR Bush administration. You take your chances with every machine... you never know which washers will spin and which dryers will heat. Oh, and the customer service e-mail address? You can use it to brush up on your typing skills, but please don't be so foolish as to expect a reply, let alone actual ACTION taken. It's a trap! read more

I'm not a frequent user of coin laundry, but this one seems fine to me. There are single, triple, and jumbo washers. The jumbo washes 6 loads but takes 22 quarters to start. There were broken machines, but I was able to take my choice when I entered on a Saturday midmorning. The driers are 25-50 cents to start depending on size and each quarter gets you about 7 minutes of drying time. I docked a star because I wouldn't say this is the nicest laundromat, but it suited my needs. Hubby entertained himself looking at the nearby noodle bar menu and getting free samples from the German deli (btw it was bomb!). read more

This laundry mat is horrible there machines are mostly broken and noone is never there and its suppose to be a fluff and fold this place is a straight rip off I lost money and I emailed the man and he never replies so it's like when we lose money there he benefits from it dont go to this place because his machines are always broke and he wont give you a refund I dont recomend this place at all very bad business read more

I will never go back to that laundromat. A lot of machines out of order and the washer I used that cost $4.50 did not even rinse out my load. Left my clothes in water and I had to try and ring them out by hand. I left them a message to call me and will probably not even hear back from them. I thought I would save time going there and it cost me another two hours to try and get my laundry done. I was terrible. read more

On the day I did my laundry at this particular location, i had to interact with what seemed to be the owner (Ive seen him at another laundry mat he seems to own in marina) he was very rude when I informed him that the dryer i placed my clothes in was not getting hot, he would hardly acknowledge me and mumbled "yeah we'll figure it out" while never taking his eyes off his phone. His way of figuring it out was rudely ordering the attendant to check the lent trap and add more quarters. We ended up taking our wet clothes and drying them at another laundry mat. Why spend money at an establishment when the owner can clearly give two s**ts about you spending your money there. His laundry mats are run down, there is ALWAYS a large majority of machines that are near broken or out of service. Clearly all the money he earns goes to keeping up a lifestyle, not his business. read more

Horrible! Whoever this owner is should really evaluate their business practices. Dirty EVERYTHING. Bathroom is a disaster even with their no toilet paper policy. About half of the machines are inoperable. Won't be back. read more

I can just say the Marina site of the MBL Co is one of the few easy access, laundromats with giant machines. I had a problem with a couple, called the company and someone was there promptly to take care of things. I hope I never have to was over 300 table linens again, if I do, I'll be back for sure. read more

I never really go here unless its needed asap, due to the lack of personal .. I go in and at least three washers are out of order and or have missing parts like the doors..... The dryers are old and you have to stand and hold it shut..... The bathroom is discusting and not child friendly, i put in a $20 bill in the coin matchine that says it only changes 5, 10 and 20 bills.... The matchine only gave me $10.00 in quarders.... I yes laugh and wait but nothing.... There is a large sign that says if you have problems email us, so I did nothing happened, its been 24 hrs . and i have yet to even have an apology, I'm still at loss of $10.00 due to the machine I go look for change and explain why I need change and they say thats no surprice other customers have had the same issues.... All I can say is I would not go here unless you have quarters and or other laundry mats are busy.... read more

Tonight I was thrown out of this laundromat. AND the man working on the machines, (owner?maintenance man?), called the police on me, or so he told me. Trust me when I say it didn't break my heart. This evening I put 2 loads in two washing machines. I sat in my car to read and came back at 25 minutes as the machines end within 27 minutes. Well, one was done and one had 25 minutes to go. What? I opened the machine it was full of water and I called the maintenance man over and told him it wasn't working. He lifted the lid, closed it and lifted it again. The water began to drip in the drum so he closed it and walked away saying, 'it's working'. Excuse me? This one is done, this is just starting and I started them at the same time. "What do you want me to do about it? It's working." Well, I told him I would just put it in another machine and asked for the $1.75 back I put into this machine. He declined saying, again, it was working. Back and forth it went. He walked over and got in my face and I told him he was being a little s*@t. OOPPSS. I know I shouldn't have said what I was thinking. He then told me to take my clothes right then and there and get out. I told him I would as soon as the drum on the "working" one drained. He then told me he was calling the police and did so in front of me. Really? He then told me again to leave immediately. He said no one calls him names. I agreed and apologized for calling him a little s*@t. He he didn't accept my apologize. REALLY? Let me be clear, I shouldn't have called him a name, but at no time was my voice raised or even in an angry tone. I never got in his face and didn't demand anything from him. I did ask for the $1.75 and did write a note saying the machine was not working properly, that the time it took to wash was off by far. When the machine drained I did take my clothes out, folded them and took them to another laundromat. Being thrown out of this place actually was a blessing in disguise. I ended up at the El Rancho Wash & Dry, It is actually a darling laundromat with cute Hawaiian murals on the wall, new working machines, seating areas, someone there when it's open to help with any problems, and CLEAN. Clearly whoever owns it has pride in it. If you are looking for a nice place, do try El Rancho Wash & Dry on Reservation Rd towards the east end. My advice? Do avoid the Monterey Bay Laundry Company either at the Marina Village Shopping Center or the one by Mcdonald's and Ace Hardward. read more

This place is okay. Semi-clean, well lit, lots of machines. The issue is the lack of fully functional machines. Every time we come here we get stuck with at least one dryer not putting out any heat after we've wasted a couple dollars in quarters, some dryers heating too much because we put them on medium/perm press and things shrink. Well today, UGH. So we went to move a load from wash to dry only to discover the load didn't spin and left soap, so we ran it again without adding any soap, and it was still sopping and clearly didn't have a spin cycle AGAIN. We gad to wring out all the water by hand from each item because they soaked and dripping, would have taken probably 4-5$ worth of drying time... The Laundromat down the street is no better and is run by the same people. read more
