Great, fun place for all ages, especially kids! Use the 3d glasses, it make it more fun. Instructions for laser maze by the staff would have been useful. We had to figure it out by ourselves. I had to do it 4 times instead of 2 because there were no instructions to press the buttons. read more

I visited canner row and I came across the Monterey Mirror Maze. Kiki, the employee was extremely friendly/welcoming. I had a blast playing the lazer tag challenge, mirror maze and miniature golf. I would recommend anyone to go. It's a great place to bring out the inner child in you. read more

This is such a fun place to go to. We tried the Mirror Maze, golf and the laser thing. 1. The Mirror maze is alot of fun- The mirror maze itself is pretty difficult to finish but they give you these glasses that distort everything and makes it all the more harder to get through it. It makes it more fun though. They also played upbeat music to accompany the fun. 2. Glow in the Dark Golf- Also, get some cool glasses. It was a pretty typical mini golf place but still a lot of fun. 3. Laser maze- Super fun!!!! I can do this one over and over again. You can either play it with trying to reach these lighted circles without touching the laser beams or you can break all the beams. I never played the second game but have played the first version of trying to avoid the beams. You have to slink around like you are bank robbers. There is also a two player option where you both have to reach two different lighted circles! Everytime I go to Monterey I try to stop into this fun place. It is a great place for a date or just hanging out with friends. read more

If you make a trip down Cannery Row, The Monterey Bay Aquarium, of course is the number one place to go. But when you get out of the aquarium, on your way to a restaurant to eat, like Bubba Gump shrimp, stop here for this fun and different attraction. It will only take about a half hour or so, the ticket is pretty cheap and once you buy it you get to go all day. We went before and after eating dinner at Bubba Gump shrimp. I think you are really going to get a kick out of this. It's unique and a really colorful. It's kind of a trip. It simply a maze you walk through and it may take a bit to get through it, but it's not too hard. You get turned around a few times. Once I went through and got turned around and came back out the entrance. It's all light up with florescent patterns and neon with black light and strobes. It's really psychedelic, like a trip man. Look at the pictures. That's the only way you can get an idea of what I mean. read more

A little pricey for a quick walk-through of the mirror maze. My daughter (age 10) freaked out and couldn't find her way out. The staff was very kind and cordial and helped her come out safely. I was glad to have a parent bench to rest on while she was in the maze. read more

After spending $30 on the aquarium the $15 price was a relief. My fiancée and I tried it on a whim and had the best time. We went through that maze so many times. Also, the laser challenge was awesome. I had never done anything like that before; and I learned that I should never be a jewel thief. Everyone who comes to Monterey should go here. Do Not Come Here- POOR SERVICE I received from LESLIE the manager it was horrible!!!!! Never been treated so rotten by a manager. The company offers a free wrist band for your birthday if you sign up online. I signed up online for my best friend and never received anything in my email on the process. So prior to driving three hours to get there I contacted them to make sure they would honor this. When I got there and asked to speak to Leslie I explained the situation she had a bit of an attitude. She could not find my info in the system because she could not spell my name right. I offered twice to write it down and she just walked away while I was talking. My son, who is now 3, was born with herbs palsy and has limited supination which means he can't turn his wrist and she made comments when she was trying to place the stamp on his right wrist. I had this event completely planned out. I had a coupon but she said she would not honor it because my friend used a coupon. I explained we are not the same person and she said she does not care she will not honor it! And while we were turning in the tickets LESLIE bumped into me and did not even say excuse me. Hey we all have bad days now and again but this is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They really need better management. read more

Horrible customer service brought the kids and got yelled by this women that looks like its Halloween everyday black hair bangs rude lady and gave me some random looks they rushed our family we came from up north so the experience was OK expect for this particular place with rude employees I would not bring my kids! AWESOME! That's all I can say. I 'm 32 and I had such a great time there. you don't spend a whole lot of time there but the little time that you do is so fun and it's so worth it. The reviews of people saying it's too expensive? Don't get that. So the ony reason I think people say that is cuz they're broke. I'm by no means rich. In fact I'm a student and kinda poor but to me, I had a blast. But i will say, the 3d glasses make the world of a difference. read more

Me and the kids had a great time in the maze! The ticket is for all day so it's a good deal if you go through it at least a couple of times. We paid $12/adult and $8/kids ages 4-6. Wear the glasses... It makes it challenging! Don't be embarrassed when you get through the maze but end up back at the entrance... It happened to us twice! Overall I thought it was worth it. Didn't do the laser challenge... I'm not a fan of letting the kids rub against a dirty floor. But we would probably go back and do the maze again! read more

Really fun experience. I'll admit I started to freak out halfway through the maze. The kaleidoscope glasses made it hard to decipher walkways and mirrors. The strobe lights occasionally blacked out and then there were mannequins that convinced me I didn't want to take certain paths. It was still a fun maze and the laser challenge is fun too. I recommend doing the laser challenge with two people. It's very entertaining. read more

My 2 y/o was having a challenging Saturday and by the time we got to the mirror maze we had been through 4 hours of him alternately screaming with laughter and anger. We had pulled him away from the toys Bubba Gump's puts out to entertain the kiddos and he was not happy. So daddy decided that this mirror thing would be a good idea. I had no idea what we were in for since my head was still reeling from the kid's incessant whining. I did hear the guy say 1500 sq ft of mirrors, so I guess I figured we'd be on the 25 min side of the 5 -25 min. he said it could take to get thru this thing. So we pick up the beast and start walking........into mirrors! LMAO I, of course, have to go in front because daddy is holding the baby so he gets to watch me walk into myself. Ya, did I mention I was out of it? It took me a good 5 minutes to realize I should stay away from my reflection. Then a big 12 year old starts trying to help us out of the maze and proceeds to piss daddy off. LOL He basically ruined the mirror maze for us because even though we told him we were good he kept pointing the way out to us. Anyway, it got the beast's mind off the toys he had left behind and we were able to move along to the aquarium in time to realize it was 5pm and there was no way we were paying to get in at that point. May I just say that I'd love to own 1500 sq ft of mirrors on Cannery Row and charge $12 per person to walk into them all day! It's good for a distraction from the shopping but $12 is a lot for what took us 8 min. to get through. It's pretty small. read more

It was the best! You occasionally bumped into the mirror but it was definitely worth $15 for the maze and the laser room.

Kids just loved this place! They must have gone in and out at least 25 times. You get an all-day pass for $12 a day. We arrived in the afternoon, left to go to the beach and watched a spectacular sunset at Asilomar State Beach, and the kids insisted on going back for half an hour more in the evening before we leave Monterey. This (along with the beach) was the highlight of their day! I, on the other hand, couldn't stand the flashing, strobing lights, the lost feeling, and the occasional darkness inside the maze. So if you're like me, skip the place. But if you have kids who like this type of adventure, definitely come here! read more

My daughter and I left the aquarium and headed to cannery row. I saw the sign "mirror maze" and decided to check it out. For one adult, and one child, total was $20. I walked in thinking it would be easy and no biggie, but WRONG. I think we got lost in there for a good 20-30 minutes lol. Those minutes honestly felt like hours! We had a good time, but the strobe lights that constantly blinked on & off gave me a huge headache when we left. We'll definitely come again one day! read more

Did the mirror maze and mini golf and lazer maze. The maze was fun, the mini golf was a little weak and the lazer game was pretty weak. Had it not been almost $60 for the 3 of us to do it all i would have given them another star. The maze was funny as i tried to find my kids but after 4-5 times, i was getting bored. The mini golf was pretty sad but the combination of the three was entertaining for an hour or two. Well, I've been there 3 times already, and it's not a waste of money when I see how much fun everyone has. The last time we went (just 3 days ago), the girl working was so helpful and friendly. And patient. We had 8 kids running around like little heathens and she took it in stride and didn't get that annoyed look that a lot of people get. The adults have fun also, but the adults in our group only went through once or twice, so I really did think it was a waste of money for them, lol. This was definitely worth doing with a coupon but it didn't feel worth full price. Mirror maze was worth doing once or twice and the laser maze was fun. They did have problems with their software but they did the right thing. One person ordered the video but they couldn't deliver so they refunded the money and said they would still try to send them the video. The laser maze is a one or two person activity. Both the maze and the laser maze seem right for 8 and up. read more

Kids love this place and will spend hours here if allowed to, with the unlimited maze ticket. It also means you can get your money's worth if you have the time. Saw some little kids (mostly girls under 6) frightened, however. It is a bit panic inducing when you realize it isn't that easy to find your way out, but that isn't a problem for most of the kids because they don't necessarily want to come out. Bonus: The young adults selling the tickets are very patient with confused tourists & haggard parents. read more
