Drew the technician came out for $150 service call listen to what I've already gone through and had done and he knew things just weren't adding up .Well he found the bad limit switch that the other two technicians could not and had my heat back on that day he also took the motherboard that I was told was bad and re installed it and wouldn't you know there was nothing wrong with it. I asked Proline if they were qualified to fix our proprietary NuWater Septic System that was…read morealarming. They said yes and sent a plumber out who said they had never worked on this type of system. Darren was a good plumber, but he did not have the knowledge or expertise to address our proprietary system. He ended up replacing two $500 floats that were not defective. With the alarm still not fixed he said I needed to call an electrician. The problem was lack of training on the control panel. The problem was fixed the next day for no charge over the phone. Our bill for not fixing the system was $1,160. Again, the plumber was honest and meant well. Sending him to work on a system that he was trained to trouble shoot was the root of the our issue. This situation could have been easily avoided with a simple "we recommend you contact a certified NuWater provider". Honesty is the best policy.

At this point they have thousands and thousands of my dollars from work on our old house. My grief is that a finishing part of a project where I misunderstood the scope specifics (admittedly likely due to my fault) now has me searching for a professional plumber to finish. I'm to be left with a "roughed in" half bath addition. My bad that I was not fully clear on that meaning. Their plumber onsite said it'd be relatively quick and easy- under an hour- to finish off. The office bid me 600 more of my dollars. They then came down a bit from that but in my opinion the quote is still crazy high for "about an hour... easy " work, particularly as I am an ongoing customer in an open project. I completely understand I would expect to pay for additional work out of original scope, but seriously? Such a high quote for an hour for what reportedly is a simple job for the plumber? Seems very unreasonable to me. They've now lost a customer and left sourness in the wake. It's a shame. I've learned my lesson.
