This is by far the BIGGEST RIP-OFF in the Hamptons. Under the guise of professionalism, the…read moremanager, Steve Cummings, demonstrates a flagrant disregard for honesty and integrity, making him nothing short of a scammer. Engaging with this company is akin to willingly subjecting oneself to notoriously getting "Hamped" (overpaying because you live here). Steve brazenly alters contract terms midstream, leading to exorbitant unexpected charges. Call is company if you wish to drastically overpay for plumbing or HVAC services. Their lack of internal communication between the HVAC and plumbing divisions is appalling. Their work ethic is marred by a series of blunders, which they subsequently exploit by overcharging to rectify their own mistakes. Initial promises are deceitfully simplistic, only to be arbitrarily amended once the fifty percent deposit is paid before the work begins. Look at your proposal and agreement closely because they intentionally leave out details they previously claim will be included in the price. There is no benefit to being loyal to this company and no price break for being a long time customer. I would rather drown in my house than call this company to fix a leak. This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.
