I had read and heard lots of horror stories about roofing jobs gone bad so I wanted a reliable company and Rabbit Roofing did not disappoint. My existing roof was a second layer put on over 25 years ago and it was starting to show its age. The underlying plywood was soft in many spots and there were some small leaks in the garage during heavy rainstorms. When Alex came by to check out the roof we had a long talk about what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The price he quoted was not the lowest bid but still reasonable and I was more concerned about workmanship than saving a few dollars. There was no hard sell and I really had a good feeling about Rabbit Roofing and was encouraged by all the great reviews. One thing the really impressed me was that Alex did not ask for any money up front even though he had to cover the cost of the materials. He trusted me to pay the entire cost when the job was done, which I did. Dealing with Alex was a pleasure. He was very responsive to all my messages. The crew arrived exactly on time, 7:30 AM. The weather was very hot but no rain. I felt sorry for those guys working in that heat. The crew of 6 men were able to finish the job in one day (almost 12 hours) and Alex was there supervising for almost the entire time. The first thing they did was drape a fine net around the entire house to protect everything on the ground near the house. Then they carefully moved everything off my deck and patio. When they were done putting on the new roof they put everything back exactly the way it was. The cleanup was perfect! Not an easy task since my driveway is gravel. They swept the entire grounds with large magnets to pick up any stray nails. So far I have not found any that they missed. One of the things I wanted was copper flashing (extra cost) around the base of the chimney and I wanted it put on straight and not stepped just to make it a little different from most of the houses on my block. You can see from the photo that it looks really nice. Turns out that my roof was in much worse shape than I thought. They had to replace 19 pieces of plywood so this job was long overdue. Alex took photos of the entire process from start to finish. Heavy rain is expected for the next couple of days and I'm looking forward to not seeing any leaks. A perfect job; can't ask for more than that and I will certainly recommend Rabbit Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof. Thank you Alex and crew for an outstanding job.

Larry, the owner of AllWays, does not take shortcuts and ensures that the work is done properly. He had his crew strip all of the old, shoddy materials from these sections of roof and rebuild them to provide better drainage. The owner Joy originally sent her son to measure/give a written estimate and we shortly after arranged to drop off a deposit and have items ordered. Late evening the day before our scheduled drop off, we were called stating that they were increasing the price as the son had provided a bad quote. After arriving to the store and questioning this we were also told while they were happy to take the deposit that they were no longer sure they could do the job and would have to send a more senior person back to evaluate. When they came back, almost a week later, the actual installer had to remeasure, as the owner's son had measured improperly as well, but said the job was of course doable. At that time the team seemed apologetic for the inconvenience and told us that if we trusted them they would make it right. As such, we decided as we had already invested the time to give the deposit and we were told they would be ready 4 weeks later for install. 2 weeks after, my wife called for an update and we were informed the shades shipped and due in the next day or two, but that since it was their busy season would not be able to schedule install until several weeks later (~5 week since ordering). 1 week prior to install we get a message saying they have to push back the date of install because the blinds weren't actually in/never even shipped. When talking to her son, he blamed a long term employee that "doesn't know how to use the computer" and when talking to Joy the owner, she states the person who originally told us everything was in while admittedly incompetent had worked their forever and allows it cause she is a loyal person. She then verbally berated me over the phone for making them upset! Do yourself a favor and go to a real store. These folks lie, continually change their story and misled us, particularly after taking our money. This experience has been nothing but a headache and a waste of our time.

What was supposed to be a one-day job took three days. He did request an adjustment to the previously-agreed upon price, and that was fair. He put in a lot of work, staying until 7 pm at night. Cesar did an AMAZING job with the assembly. There were eight boxes of cedar wood, polycarbonate panels, a power port, a hose hookup, windows that open, a vent fan...and all the parts were in different boxes. Cesar opened all the boxes and organized all the pieces before getting started. I will absolutely hire Versatil/Cesar for any and all carpentry. It's rare to find someone who takes pride in doing the best possible job. Cesar is that rare someone. I also cannot overstate my appreciation that they cleaned up EVERY night. Eddie the guy that gave me the estimate called me this morning and apologized for the mistake. Due to the COVID issues, which is like Eddie said is no ones fault everything has gone up tremendously. To their credit, they showed up the very next day and they were on time. Two technicians arrived and immediately got to work. One was on the roof while the other worked in the basement, and it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. They also explained that this is a family owned business, with multiple family members working together on the same jobs, which really showed in how coordinated and invested they were in the work. The scope of work involved installing a stainless steel chimney liner designed to properly vent double gas appliances, upgrading existing connections for safety and code compliance, installing two double tee connections, and finishing everything with a stainless steel top plate and rain cap. They also handled flashing and waterproofing by installing aluminum flashing with ice shield underlayment, carefully removing shingles as needed, and waterproofing the exterior of the chimney to prevent future moisture issues. What stood out most was their professionalism and communication. They explained each step clearly, answered questions without rushing, and made sure I understood why certain upgrades were necessary. The workmanship looks excellent and very clean, especially considering the complexity of the job. Despite the rocky start, they ultimately delivered quality work and followed through when it mattered. The finished product looks great and gives me confidence that the system is safe and properly done.

Ready Roof was the 4th and final estimate I needed. Of the previous 3, the 1st did not even set…read morefoot on the roof (salesman), and their estimate was so high, it was through the roof (no pun intended). The 2nd estimate was reasonable, but not as detailed, and the 3rd was also reasonable, but told me there was an area he could not get to with the soffits against my front cedar panels as he would risk damaging them. (I was getting an estimate for my roof (as well as for the company to build casing/housing unit around my rusty gas chimney), sky light, attic fan, siding, gutters/leaders, and soffits). Once I contacted Ryan (8/2023), we tentatively set up a date for him to come for an estimate, giving me a heads up that him and his wife were expecting a baby any day. Any human being would understand that and agree. He followed up the next day, and we worked it out for him to squeeze me in. Ryan was on time, as per our agreement, polite, and got right to work. He pulled his ladder right off the truck, and made his way up to the roof. In the past (since moving here in 2015), I've been told I have a "few years" left on my roof, but knew since the house was built in 1988, and it is the original roof, that my time has come. Ryan took pictures, did all the measurements, and came down to show me, and discuss. In addition, we walked the perimeter of the house to get an idea of the remainder of the work I wanted done. During this time, with absolutely no pressure, sales pitch, and non-sense add-ons, he offered me many great ideas, as well as opinions, and spent more than enough time with me. He really gave me the comfort level of making an easy decision, and that was to use his company without even seeing the estimate. A few days later, he sent me the estimate, as I had requested it to a specific email account (so it wouldn't go into spam). Very well put together, PDF format, with pictures of all the work that needed to be done: roof, casing/housing around the gas chimney, sky light, attic fan, siding, gutters/leaders, and soffits. It was one of the best estimates I have seen meticulously put together. Ryan had everything itemized, in case I did not want to move forward with the project in its entirety. I did, and thought the price was more than fair for the scope of the work, and lots less than the other 3 companies that were here prior. With our first meeting going so well, and the presentation of the estimate, (price always helps as well, lol), I knew this was a reflection on the quality of work Ryan and his crew would carry out (of course, Ready Roof did NOT disappoint). During the pre-construction phase, we kept in touch, with Ryan quickly answering my calls, texts, and emails, being very communicative. This was necessary, needing samples dropped off (so the wife can approve), paperwork that needed to be signed, or my annoying constant questions on caring for my house as if it was his own. Ryan reiterated to me about how he cares for clients houses as if it is his own, with tarps, and making sure there is no damage. Ryan and his crew have the tools, machinery, and the finesse of true professionals. The roof was ripped and finished in a day, and the rest of the work took a few weeks. Many factors played a role (not Ryan's fault). I had my own personal issues with my dad in the hospital, continuous rainy weather, and me wanting to be home to see the work progress, not to mention I was getting premium siding (special order). During this whole time, Ryan was on the job, making sure I was satisfied, products delivered were of good quality and correct. Ryan did not hesitate with any questions I threw at him, and there were many each day. A true business man, making the customer happy.........EXTREMELY! He followed through after the project was done and sent me pictures from his drone of the before/after. From start to finish, all the work completed was done correctly, professionally, with care for my home, and a success in making my wife and I happy (I/we can be a pain in the a**). I need to uphold a beautiful look of my house, since I am a corner property. I am getting tons of compliments on the work Ryan and his crew did, and all the time they put into it, was well worth it.
