I had a very good experience recently when placing an order for a friend's birthday and this small business came through. I ordered from a local shop due to the funeral home I was sending flowers to location. There were three options for the bouquets in a vase I ordered, I choose the middle deluxe option. The flowers were not full at all, looked nothing like the picture. There were three vases at the wake and my flowers looked insanely sad next to the other two, two people even commented or asked where they were from since they looked so awful. They were delivered on time is the only positive I can give. The bouquet was the only offering that had sunflowers on their website and this is why I choose it, I like to support local so therefore didn't do a 1-800 flowers order, or pro flowers order, the total cost was $84.14 for the vase and flowers and delivery I've had a dozen roses sent that looked better for less. read more

Recieved flowers for Valentine's day as a gift. The flowers were supposed to arrive on Valentine's day and arrived the day after. When I received the flowers the vase was hot and the flowers were wilted. Horrible customer service, poor quality goods, better off going to a grocery store. read more

I called this morning to send flowers to my aunt that turned 90 years old. God Bless her. I live in another state & when I placed my phone order I spoke with a lady named Alicia. She was helpful and very polite. Alicia was able to work with my budget. My aunt received her flowers maybe 3 hours later. Not only was she surprised and is very pleased with her fresh flowers. My son is in the area for training and tomorrow is his birthday, his cards and gifts are home which is a long way from RI. In a last minute move to make sure he had something for his big day, I called the Montville Florist and was very impressed. They happily took my phone order and are delivering his arrangements and balloons today! How's that for service! The ladies here are kind, professional, and accommodating. I've gone in there over the years for flowers for a variety of occasions. Thank you's, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthday's, corsages, etc. The quality is always outstanding. The staff is so friendly and really listens to what you want. In the end the flowers always exceed my expectations. Most recently I thought to seek their guidance in hanging plants, and again I left with exactly what I wanted, as well as beautiful tulips that I just couldn't resist! read more

I ordered flowers for a funeral/wake service this past day and I can not be more disappointed. The arrangement was small with approx 4 of the flowers I asked if they had to use a few but to literally have those and three other flowers with some nonsense bamboo built contraption for $200 was an extreme embarrassment. I love/loved this woman that we just lost and thought by going to a local florist in her town I would have received what I paid for. Such a let down. I wouldn't recommend at all. read more

Where do I begin. This Florist shop and the women that run it are a rarity in this world. From the moment you walk in you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. Not only are the arrangements beautiful but the owners are kind, compassionate and lovely. They even took the time to give my son (who has a rare autoimmune disorder) a field trip style tour of the business and were so kind and patient answering his questions and making him feel a part of it all. Leah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome at her shop (even though at the time we were not high paying customers) and because of that I will forever be a loyal customer and send other's their way. Order flowers through FTD web site. I order the the better. The middle. Flowers were delivered with petals missing and no sunflowers like mentioned. My message was shortened from "Happy Mother's Day! May the sun shine on you even on rainy days. " to just Mother's Day. I payed $75 for this. I was not pleased nor will I ever recommend this florist. Delivery was scheduled for Mother's Day but came the day before. Waste of money. read more

This is the only place I go for any floral arrangements. Their pricing is fair and their flowers, which are always so fresh, last for weeks!! The staff is so friendly and they are always happy to point you in the right direction of whatever you need. Plus they have an adorable little shop kitty! I went to this florist on Friday to get a table display for a dinner party on Saturday night. I asked about the flowers lasting as I felt there were very few flowers in the arrangement for the price they were asking. I was told all the flowers in the display would last awhile, by Monday morning they were dyeing. I would never recommend this florist, can get flowers that die within a couple days from Stop & Shop and there a lot cheaper. read more

The owner comes across like she really knows what she is talking about. She described an incredible arrangement of flowers for my wedding. The day of the wedding she came in and everything that we had talked about AND that was in the contract was completely wrong and was half done. When she walked in to the bridal suite, she was VERY rude while the bridesmaids and bride were getting ready. We were laughing and having a wonderful time and she made a rude face and covered her ears. UH HELLO....its a wedding. Its a time for happiness and celebration. I would NEVER recommend this florist to anyone. Please be warned. read more
