He walked in and stood at the coffee bar and was not greeted, but the people that walked in after were greeted. Then he walked around to try to get someone for help and was ignored until he walked into the wine section thinking it had an exit and suddenly was followed around the store without even receiving a hello from an employee. He walks out upset mentioning that he was not even acknowledged and ignored by the employees and was ready to go to another coffee spot. In an attempt to see if this was true, i walked inside in my injured state. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a man telling me he would be right there with me & then a lady stopped her conversation with her friends to offer me help. Coincidentally, he is a dark skinned Hispanic & I am light skinned which has made a difference in the past in the way we are treated. Is this another one of those instances? It was our first time here and I felt so uncomfortable for my partner who was just trying to get me a coffee and had that experience.

I shop at this store several times a week. There has not been a week that has gone by in the last…read moremonth or more where they were out of the produce I needed or that I had to wait for them to find it in the back and restock. I have run into the same issue in the fish department, where they don't have the fish I came into buy. This past Monday the produce section looked like a going out of business issue. This was after 11am!!!! Once again having to ask someone to check in the back for the produce myself and another customer needed. Then when it was brought out was told not to take it out of the open carton sitting right in front of me, but to wait until it was unloaded, after which the employee used his body to block me from picking up what I needed, while he looked through the other boxes on his cart to restock with. Apparently, he too is frustrated with the process of having to restock in such a manner. I spoke with a manager last week and she said she would look into it, but nothing has changed. Yes, there are more people in town in the summer months, there always is!!!!!!!! This should be planned for.
