Let's be honest... nobody wakes up thinking, "You know what sounds like fun today? A root canal!"…read more I ended up at Apex Endodontics through the VA Community Care program after another dental office in Parker left me in EXCRUCIATING pain. I prayed that God would send me to the right place to fix my tooth, and He absolutely did. The first surprise? Dr. Jack personally called me after receiving my referral. He listened to everything I had been through, scheduled me for the earliest available appointment, and promised to call if a cancellation opened up. A few days later, the phone rang. "We can get you in tomorrow!" Praise God! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredible. Yazmane greeted me with a smile, Teresa took my x-rays, listened patiently to my story, and never once made me feel rushed. Then Dr. Jack came in. Instead of trying to sell me on additional procedures or making me feel like my questions were a burden, he carefully examined my teeth, explained exactly what he found, and gave me options so I could make an informed decision. Now here's the funny part... During the root canal, I actually had tears running down my face. Not because it hurt... Because IT DIDN'T!! After what I had experienced previously, I couldn't believe I wasn't feeling pain. I didn't feel the dentists tool filing into my teeth like I had before. At that moment, I realized I was finally in good hands. Since I couldn't fall asleep, I just sat there watching Dr. Jack and Teresa work together. They barely had to speak. Every instrument he needed was already waiting in her hand before he asked. It was like watching a perfectly choreographed dance or a magic trick they've performed a thousand times. Their teamwork was honestly mesmerizing. Before I knew it, Dr. Jack said, "We're almost done," and then... we WERE done. When I stood up, I cried again. This time because I knew the nightmare was finally over. Today, the numbness is gone, I can finally feel ChapStick on my lips again (which is an underrated blessing ), and while my jaw is a little sore from keeping my mouth open so long, the unbearable pain I had been living with is gone. Even as I was leaving, the ladies at the front desk asked how I was feeling. That simple act spoke volumes. If you need an endodontist, I cannot recommend Dr. Jack, Teresa, Yazmane, and the entire Apex team enough. They treated me with kindness, compassion, professionalism, and respect from beginning to end. Thank you all for reminding me what exceptional patient care looks like. You didn't just fix my tooth, you restored my faith that healthcare can still be compassionate. God truly answered my prayer by sending me to your office.

It was explained to me in great detail what had happened to the tooth and what was going on and why there was not enough bone mass in my jaw to keep the tooth going. Rather than having me make an appointment for another day, they delayed their lunch plans and stayed around and extracted the tooth. Very friendly staff, beautiful facility, and both of the dentists I consulted with were extremely friendly fellows. If I ever have an endodontic need in the future this is where I'm going. Highly recommended .

Very professional and clearly knowledgeable of all things teeth they are smooth and efficient. This instills confidence in the procedures and how they execute them. The infection persisted despite antibiotics, and I remained in severe pain. I had to insist on having the molar pulled. The extraction took over 2.5 hours and was extremely traumatic. It was like the doctor was jack hammering my mouth. I was then charged another $2,000 for a single tooth removal and that added trauma. Afterward, stitches and a plastic membrane caused weeks of pain, and I ended up removing the stitches myself. A month later, the plastic worked its way out of my gum. This was an expensive, painful, and poorly handled experience. Do not see this doctor if you have a previous root canal or crown that needs to be replaced. It's all about the revenue that they want to bring in. I was told payment in full was necessary even when the procedure was not completed. That should be illegal!!!!!

I had a molar that had previously had a root canal and started developing biting/pressure…read moresensitivity. It turned out there was an infection under the tooth and that the prior root canal could be improved. I saw Dr. Machado at Cherry Creek Endodontics, and he did a great job. During the evaluation, he walked me through the 3D X-ray, explained what he was seeing, discussed the infection and the condition of the prior root canal, and laid out my options clearly. I really appreciated that level of transparency and explanation. They were also able to do the retreatment immediately after the evaluation, which I was very grateful for. Dr. Machado took extra steps to help give the tooth the best chance possible, including placing medication/calcium in the tooth before permanently sealing it. They did this twice before the final sealing, which made me feel like they were being thorough and careful rather than rushing the process. It is still too early to know whether the tooth will ultimately make it, but I feel very good about the care I received. They made me as comfortable as possible during each procedure, and the numbing was highly effective every time. My only complaint is that the pain the first night after the initial procedure was unbearable, and I was only advised to take Tylenol and ibuprofen. I got essentially no sleep that night, although it improved after that. I understand this may be standard practice now that stronger pain medication is less commonly prescribed, but I would have really appreciated even a very small short-term option to help me sleep the first night or two. That said, everything else about the experience was excellent, and I do not feel right taking off a star for that. I'm grateful for the care, skill, and responsiveness of Dr. Machado and the team.
