Options were good and burgers were good. Any burger over 13 dollars should include a small fry. That was a let down because the fries were kinda whack and had to be bought seperately. Let me start by saying I love supporting local businesses. Beach Burger is super convenient while enjoying a day at the beach or walking down the boardwalk. They've also got tons of seating. Cute logo and concept too! The rest of this review is not meant to trash the restaurant but to provide honest feedback from a new patron. A little confusing while ordering, "order here" and "pick up here" windows but they have girls bringing out the food to the table. Didn't quite understand if I was supposed to be listening for them to call my number or if my order would be brought to the table. Also, a little off putting when the cashier told us it would be about 15 minutes for our order to be ready. Not the end of the world, but seemed lengthy for a small order. Here's where Beach Burger lost me...... I ordered the "Corndog". Which looking back later I guess is my fault for not understanding what I would be served? When I think Corndog I think of a frank on a stick with fried batter around it. Nope! I was served a hot dog in a bun, with some weird fried corn rounds and cheese thrown on it (see photo). I was instantly annoyed. Looking back it's listed under "hot dogs" but I think it's pretty misleading to use that name especially as just a walk up joint. My friend ordered a burger. Which he said was served cold. I didn't try it so I'm not going to let that influence my review. Here's where Beach Burger won..... the funnel fries! The portion was HUGE. I could only eat half. They were perfectly deep fried with just enough of powdered sugar. Definitely recommend this item! Either a manager or owner approached and asked how everything was. I regret not speaking up about how I really felt but at the end of the day, the "corn dog" IS listed under hot dogs. But it just doesn't sit well with me. This place is new so I'd be willing to try again one day. However, I feel they have a few kinks to work out. read more

Now I always remember where I am, after all this is the boardwalk in a rented concession on the boardwalk with day-trippers as customers. That usually means you'll never see the same customer twice so get them for all you can and serve them garbage. So I ordered $8 french fries. They sucked. Soggy, oily and uncooked. Now how do you mess up french fries? Imagine the $17 burgers? Scares me just to think of them. So see through the elaborate menus and the woke verbiage everywhere, and zero in on the food. Great spot on the boardwalk directly on the beach, I visited on July 4th. Plenty of parking behind. I ordered a Turkey burger, corn fritters and an iced tea. Burger was nice and juicy and fritters were sweet and crispy. Spacious tables on the boardwalk, clean and great hospitality by the cashier and the server who brought over my food. I'm making the boardwalk walkers hungry with my sweet potato waffle fries with cheese. They were my favorite along with the Dr. Pepper float with Vanilla ice cream. Next time I will try a hamburger with bacon cheese and avocado they have everything here. The Beyond burger was good, if you don't eat meat, it's very thick and filling. I would give them 0 stars if I could. They claim to serve gluten free rolls however both myself and my aunt who are celiac requested gluten free rolls and were told we were served them and both got violently ill after consuming them. This is a serious issue and extremely inconsiderate to people with celiac who get violently ill from gluten and cross contamination. Upon checking Yelp, we verified from the images that the roll we were served today was the same exact roll as the non-gluten free ones posted in other reviews. Ate here last night...two burgers (one was the Beyond Burger), one order of large fries, one iced tea and one bottle of water....$70! When the burger arrived it was over cooked, but I was never asked how I wanted it cooked. The owner told me that all burgers were cooked "med well" due to Board of Health regulations unless specifically requested. Perhaps I should have been told that prior to ordering. Honestly expected better for the money. Could've had the same meal AND cocktails at Jimmy Hays for the same money. BUT, the burger was very good, the fries were very good, and the view is unbeatable. Just ate at Beach Burger for breakfast and the east coast egg sandwich was delicious. Classic bacon egg and cheese on a really yummy roll. They also serve cold brew on saturdays and sundays 9-12pm. Much better experience overall this time around as it seems like they've gotten into the swing of things now and worked out the kinks of a newly opened business. My mom has hers without bacon and loved it too. The price of the sandwiches were 8+ each which is a bit pricey but considering the location and how it tasted, I didn't mind that too much. Went to Beach Burger to listen to singer Richard Weinstein perform Frank Sinatra. The food was excellent. The burgers were well cooked and to our preference. The fries were fresh and similar to those available at 5 Guys. However there were 2 major factors that will negatively effect our return. First, the food is grossly overpriced. The check for 2 was $42.00 and consisted of 2 burgers, fries and 2 drinks. This is way out of line as the same meal is available at various local restaurants for less than$30.00. Secondly the service is haphazard. Food is distributed by check number and the servers must go to each table until the diners are located. This resulted in cold food. To prevent this diners should be given a table tent with the order number placed where the customers are sitting. It is a pity that great food is negated by such high prices and poor service. read more

Only three stars as I ordered fries as well (expensive for what they are) and it took 20 minutes for them to come out. We were riding our bikes on the boardwalk and we stopped in for a quick dinner. Even though it is after Labor Day, they were still open and had a full menu. Excellent hamburgers cooked to perfection - they should offer more cheese varieties (maybe they do "in season"). Sweet potato waffle fries were also great. We have eaten here three times since discovering it while riding the boardwalk and it is now our "go to" breakfast destination. The bacon egg & cheese sandwich and caramel french toast are both to die for. We can only imagine what the burgers are like! The quality of the food and service are Zagat level. The proprietors are gracious and what they are doing with this spot should make our community want to root for them.
