Used to enjoy the food when they were actually open and we could get some. Online (Yelp) tells me they're open until 10pm but when I drive down they're closed. This happened three times now. First time we read the sign on the door which stated the restaurant closes at 4 during Winter. I am old but rarely eat dinner before 4. Second and third (yesterday) time we drove down around 5:45-6pm and closed. Stopped in today for take out. Had the grand Moo burger and it was very good. A order of fries on the side also very good. They were offering free soup with every lunch, and that was excellent! Cheap prices make this a very kid friendly place as well as their milkshakes. I ordered a double moo cheese burger, fries, a strawberry milkshake and onion rings. They were out of the strawberry milkshakes and onion rings so I ordered a vanilla instead. Awesome little hole in the wall burger joint! They literally have bar stool seating for maybe 5-6 people, so be flexible when going as you may need to bring your food home or eat in your car if someone beat you to the seating (they do have outdoor seating when the weather allows). The food is total greasy spoon awesomeness. The burgers are very flavorful and taste home made. The baby pigs in a blanket and milk shakes are favorites with the kids and the uncommon (alongside the more traditional) burger varieties allows you to change it up whenever you go. Moo burger can kiss my moo ass. This place blows. First off, the chefs in the back man handled every single ingredient with their fingers, no gloves. When I say man handled, I mean intimately pressed their finger on everything the put on the burger starting with the bun (not even necessary). Let me start by saying I have tried this location once before and the food was decent. Today I placed an order for a plain cheeseburger well done. You would think this is one of the most simple orders to get correct however upon trying the burger it became evident that it was completely inedible unless the person eating it wanted to break a tooth! The bun and cheese were fine but the patty itself came out like a hockey puck! The patty was almost entirely black and was flavorless and tough. Needless to say after two bites( one to try and one to confirm it wasn't just that one area) the entire burger was thrown out as i wasn't looking to eat burnt rubber. I will not be returning again based on the inability of the chef/cook to make even the most basic of orders correctly.
