This is one of my favorite locations. I have a monthly subscription for the whole wash so it's a decent deal even with the 2026 price increase. The Hilliard-Rome Road location does a good job and an ok job of drying. I wish there was a little more time on drying especially on cold days like today when you don't feel like pulling over to hand dry the rest of the way. I really appreciate the staff here. Any interactions I have had have been friendly, courteous, and always appreciate a smile. Two lines, the member lane and non-member that corral into one wash inference. It's a good layout and even when packed doesn't take too long. They keep you moving. read more

I shouldn't even give it a star to be honest, But my experience was horrible. Not only was the guy in the payment booth at 7:10am this morning rude, but his behavior was unacceptable. I did not catch his name, but after i said no thank you to the unlimited wash program multiple time he continued to try sell it to me. I declined, then goes out saying im just doing my job can i continue, I said no. He then threw the unlimited wash program brochure and my card at my face and then told me to get out of line. Today (07/11/23) I decided to go out with my Acura MDX for some errands. The Acura has been in the garage for the last three weeks and haven't been driven during that time; so, I am positive that the vehicle was in perfect shape for the last days. Firstly, I went to the DMV and the parking lot was almost empty, but I still parked far away for good measure; and spent maybe 45 minutes there. Afterwards, I stopped by at a relatively small mall and went to a "Big Lots" store to buy some stuff; and, as usual, I parked far away from other vehicles, etc, and the mall was kind of slow anyways. Subsequently, I stopped by at local medium size grocery store (Aldi) and same type of situation and scenario as the one at the "Big Lots" store. Once I was done with the groceries, I went to a tunnel car wash nearby -- "Moo Moo" car wash in Pickerington, OH. Apparently, the car washing process went without any incident with one exception (which I did not associate with any possible type of damage to my vehicle): twice the whole car wash tunnel stopped for maybe 1 minutes each time and an alarm sounded off inside the car wash tunnel both times. Once I arrived home, I could not help but notice large and deep scratches (more like grooves really) in the left fender and going all the way to the front fascia/bumper and the deep elongated scratch in the left side of the front fascia/bumper is about 2 feet in length. Those are very large and deep scratches that likely were created by some strong mechanical arm that went around the fender and to the front fascia. The types of mechanical arms that one would find in a tunnel car wash. That is a significant amount of cosmetic damage that one would not expect to take place in a car wash (never going to use tunnel car washes ever again). It significantly tainted and ruined the appearance of an otherwise nice and relatively new vehicle that was in an almost impeccable state and condition. Unneeded to say, that is an extremely distressful and disturbing situation. Really, completely unnecessary and insane amount of headache, hassle, stress and expenditures. Moo Moo car wash must be avoided at all cost, unless you want your vehicle to be cosmetically ruined. read more

Pay very close attention to what they say to you. I asked for a simple one-time car wash, and without my approval or knowledge, they signed my credit card up for a membership. I could not get anyone from their company to answer the phone or respond by chat or text. They charged my card and were planning on charging it monthly without any explanation of their membership to me. This is very odd. Why would someone do something this devious? The person in the booth outright lied to me. This company should reconsider how they do business. I will not go there, and I still have not gotten this canceled. My advice is not go there. Give your money to a reputable company that has integrity and is honest. I will have to go to my credit card company to dispute this. The amount of time I have spent on this, they should reimburse me for my time. If they don't get this figured out, next comes BBB. Curious how many complaints this company has. I do not like how close they pack in cars. When you pay $22 for a wash and the machines have no time to reset in between cars it's an issue. It still doesn't clean off the bug juice on my windshield and my tires are still dirty even though they claim to wash them. read more

I think I found a good carwash. Still important even it Ohio doesn't use as much salt on their roads as Michigan. Bad in same ways like last week's nightmare morning commute that had whole sections of most freeways CLOSED for hours. Good for local fish in the lakes near roads. For 8 bucks got good wash even if it was listed as the low-fat one. Puns on type of milk for type of carwash is SO cute and expected at a place that many won't even use the word Michigan at all. (Call that the team up north. So juvenile isn't it and I grew up near here.) Feed the money into a machine and whole process automated except the lone guy telling you to put it in neutral - maybe worried about reading levels or maybe paying attention in the age of cellphones!! More convenient than washing your car by hand, but that's about as good as it gets. The line seems to run fast, so the car doesn't get incredibly clean and there's always soap residue left behind that I have to wipe off or it leaves marks. There also never seem to be any free vacuums and this location can turn into a cluster**** for traffic very easily. All of this, coupled with the price increase a while back (while also taking away the towel/ freshener bundles) is ultimately why I cancelled my membership. read more

The people who work there are indifferent to the problem and when I want to cancel the tell me to go to the website or call. They seem like they're used to complaints. I have been a customer since you built the wash business near Graceland Shopping. It included tire shine. I really liked that and now have three memberships, I have also had my employer who has 8 trucks to get a membership card. Nothing looked better than a clean car and shiny tires. Then the $5.00 went away, then the tire shine went away, the reason I had memberships. I have noticed that the quality of the wash has decreased. Now many people may not notice it but being a car nut, owning many antique cars notices a change in quality. It has changed. Now today at Graceland I noticed the drying system has changed, I have water spots on the front windshield side mirrors and side and back glass. The wheel covers are not as clean and we noticed that on our trucks. At one time your wash system was the best, but now it is nowhere near that. Next, I want to address the cleaning of the windshields. Before when the little feather friends dumped on our vehicle your car wash cleaned the residue off. Not today, Things have changed. Today the droppings were still present on the car and windshield. One of our drivers made the same comment as to the trucks. We are not stupid, as the results of a car wash have changed. read more

Horrible service they damaged my husbands car and will not stand behind it. They gave us garbage excuse the damage was done prior to the wash, which was clearly not true. We just had it appraised at the Mercedes dealer, and it had no damage whatsoever. They are lying about the cameras we were told by the manager that the footage is recorded over every 48 hours. They also said they gave us the opportunity to see the cameras which they did not. They were told they could not let us see the cameras so we are following a suit with our attorney. We have almost $10,000 damage to our Mercedes... If anyone else has damage from this location, please reach out to me and we can include you with our lawsuit and it can become a class action suit against this location read more

May be my favorite car wash ever. What sold me on them for good was one of their rollers snapped off my rear windshield wiper and with no argument, no hassle, they provided me with a new one same day! We try and do touchless washes and ours on Roberts is being remodeled. We had to try and get the trucks washed before the snow hits. First time we came in we had our Yukon with cherry droppings on it. They were on there less than a day and when we went in to get it washed, the wash was not strong enough to take the cherry stains off the hood. We told the staff and went in again and still didnt come off. So we took the towells and removed them ourselves. Now, the second time we had the Dodge 2500 . Only reason why no 5 stars is there should be more power in the water and then... if we had been told that if you have anything in the bed of your truck, even tied down, tie downs etc.... the dryer will not come on. No big deal, but the truck was still dirty and we dried it. No big deal... so on small cars great... but on larger vehicles or very dirty ones , you may want to do it yourself. Otherwise, great service, free vacuum , nice employees and always a line. So, they are doing it right for sure. read more

Since I was in Hilliard for work and my car received bird droppings in the parking lot I decided to take advantage of the membership I have with Moo Moo express. Moo Moo express has multiple locations and offers a membership that allows access to all. I definitely like the layout of this location better and it's easier to get in and out of with one exception I'll explain later. The car wash seemed a little longer and better in some stages of the wash but it is almost 100% the same. The fabric rollers just like in Grove City are very soft and didn't scratch the car but it didn't get all the hard mud or hard bird droppings off so a pro and con. I think the only way around that is presoak and let it sit a minute because the car wash is meant for express and doesn't have time for that. The one problem like others is the presoak at beginning doesn't always spray or is clogged. They need to fix that at every location. The exception I mentioned before traffic doesn't give you a chance to make a left turn. The lot is shared by Target, Chick-fil-a and others and cars take off without following road rules so be careful even if you have the right away. read more

I don't get my car washed that often, but recently there was a tree in the front yard of our complex that splats these terrible small apple-like balls onto the entire ground. I went to Moo Moo to get them off the hood of my car. When I went through the first time, they did not come off even though I paid for a mid-range washing option. I circled back around and the attendant there let me wash my car again and added an additional presoaking to the hood of my car prior to entering the second time. This was all free of charge. That did the job and my car looked cleaner than ever. Really appreciated the amount of attention they provided me. What's the point if you are not going to make sure the customer pulls in right???? The worse wash ever. Soap wasn't rinsed away, and the bird droppings on my truck looked like they hadn't seen one drop of soap and water. My truck look just as bad coming out of the wash as it did going in. Very fast, friendly, and efficient service. I went at a very busy time with about 40+ cars in line, and was still in and out within 15 minutes. I call that a win! Also the attendant was very helpful in her direction. I hope to return to this location soon to keep my truck looking spiffy this summer! Been going here for quite a while but on Saturday we ran the new car through and emerged with a scratch down the entire passenger side. We took it to the body shop and they agreed that the it had to happen at the car wash. I have the timed iPhone photos from a few minutes after my receipt as we dried the car in the Target parking lot. Damage is extensive since it is on all the sheet metal on one side. Filled out an incident report and was offered the cost of the repair in gift cards. Like I would take another car through here. They also suggested I try to get it fixed through the cars warranty. That won't happen. BTW we made one payment on this car. It is really new. They also said there was other damage on the car that they caught on camera before it went through the car wash. We have inspected the car from top to bottom and can only identify the scratch. The car is 6 weeks old. Additionally, I now taking time off work to get estimates and running the car around. I am a little leery of their recommended repair business and will likely use my own. As I have said I have used this car wash and many like it for years but after seeing the damage that can be done and the response from the manager I'll not do it again. Just a warning. This is by far the worst moo moo in the Columbus area which sucks because it is the closest to my house. Their vacuums are never as strong as other locations and during their busy hours the lines are extremely slow because of regular problems at one of the gates. If you do not mind a little drive I strongly suggest visiting West 5th avenue or Henderson road location. read more

One huge issue that I encounter on a regular basis. There are two lanes leading to two pay stations. After the pay stations, gates open and close in order to sort and organize the cars into the wash due to the different car wash options and prices. The problem is. If you and the car next to you pull up to the pay station and pay at the same time, both gates will open at the same time or a split second apart. If you buy the 18 dollar wash and the car next to you buys the 8 dollar wash and the gates open at practically the same time, the car next to you can jump in front of you. This means they get your 18 dollar wash and you get their 8 dollar wash. This happens a lot if you or the other car are slow to pull through when the gate opens. If you or the other car are slow due to maybe putting your credit card back in your wallet or purse. Another issue is if the car behind you stays glued to your bumper, the gate will not close between cars. The gate sees one long car instead of two cars . The car behind does not have to pay. They roll through on your dime getting a free wash. This practice again throws off the sorting and organization of cars and the different washes purchased. You end up again not getting what you payed for. Either avoid getting you car washed here or never ever buy the expensive wash. Because chances are, your not going to get the wash you payed for. read more

I like this new additions to Hilliard as the car wash behind Meijer now has some competition. They sent out free coupons for their opening month and I took advantage of this. The coupon gave me a free top of the line car wash. Nice. This is one of those those places you pull on and put your car in neutral and relax. My car came out shiny and smelling good. The free vacuums enhance this experience as I parked where I could use one on either side of my vehicle. There is no need to haul the vacuum around to the other side. It's $5-15 depending on how much "extras" you want to add to your wash. We got the $10 wash. The wash seemed fine, no scratches to our vehicle or anything. However, the vacuums somehow made the inside of our car smell like pet urine!! It's terrible! Our car is brand new and we've never even had an animal in it before so this is VERY disappointing. I was so excited to try it today for the first time, but I was upset once I saw that the soap had made a sweeping pattern down both sides of my vehicle. I took my car through this car wash three times. The first two, I paid $8 and still had gunk on my car. I let it go, I know dried on bug guts from trips to and from Cleveland can be a bit rough to scrub off. However, I took my car, which I bought new about a month ago, one more time on 9/28/14. When I left, I had two new accessories-identical gouges in both corners of my front bumper. I called the office and Roger, the site manager, told me to bring my car in and fill out a report. I did this the following day. Roger took photos, I filled out an incident report, and Roger stated it would take 48 hours to get back to me. He did call me 48 hours later with a decision. MooMoo Express was not going to take responsibility for the damage because along with the horizontal deep gouges in the paint, there were lighter vertical scratches that he said "no brush would make." Now, no brush would have made the deep gouges in paint either, but they are there. I know nothing else but this car wash caused the damage and I will continue to work with them to correct it. read more

I'm not exactly sure what I just paid for there, but if it was to moisten my car and dump some soap on it, well then I suppose mission accomplished. However, I'm pretty sure the option I chose indicated it was supposed to have come out clean and dry - at minimum. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I purchased the VIP wash, and I must say, there is absolutely NOTHING VIP about it!!! The workers avoided talking to me, they completely ignored my child, and the one basically threw my towel package in my car instead of handing it to me. My car looked WORSE after I left. The backend of my car was filthy, and I ended up having to dry my entire car and wipe off soap that wasn't even rinsed off. Pretty good wash. Drying left a little to be desired, quite a lot of water spots remained. Vacuum could have been a bit stronger. There was only 1 other car using vacuums at the time i was and it did not do very well at cleaning out the crevices in the seat. BEWARE! I went though the car wash today with my Chevy truck. The Ford truck in front of me applied his brakes to avoid hitting the Tesla in front of him that was stopped at the exit with the green light on. The lady in the Tesla could not get her car in drive from neutral is what the manager told me. The manager also said when the Ford truck hit his brakes it caused his vehicle to jump three rollers. My truck hit the black Ford truck in front of me and pushed him though the car wash. The car wash claims they are not liable for any damage and you have to go after the driver of the vehicle that puts their brakes on. She said it is his fault for putting on his brakes. I asked about safety devices that shut the car wash down if cars are piling up inside the car wash (like a sensor that shows the cars not moving and the car wash would stop automatically). She said that there was once one at the exit but it was disabled and never replaced. So beware if using this wash. The manager said that cars going though have to honk their horns for staff to shut the car wash down. She also said to not pull up if you want extra space between your car and the car in front of you and behind you. Let them know that you want more space and they will honor your request. Wish I would have knew this prior to being put in nearly bumper to bumper. I called my insurance company and was told that it was the fault of the lady driving the Tesla and both trucks need to file any claims against her. But I believe that a safety device was disabled and the car wash bears responsibility for doing that. My big sturdy Chevy truck was not damaged but I am sure that some cars would be heavily damaged in this situation. I am writing this review to make others aware that the car wash will not stop automatically if the cars start piling up in it. read more
