They created amazing combinations and introduced me to the popping fruit bubbles as I had only had the tapioca balls before. They created a to-go bubble tea can. So, you can enjoy at home. Unfortunately, they are unavailable in the milk tea flavours. So, while I was in the shop I got a wee milk bubble tea aswell as a couple of cans of the fruit bubble teas to take home. I am sad to see it closing soon after many years of business in the town. They have a good online presence through Instagram. So, give them a wee follow. They will still be selling their teas online but the canned fruit bubble teas only. When they offered the chance to pop in, before they are due to close, to collect your Polaroid photo. These are Polaroids they used to take then pin up their customer's photos up on their wall, I knew I had to pop in. After searching through loads of Polaroids we found it. I can't believe it was from 2014. They have served the town well over the many years. I wish them all the best for their online business.

They have been so accommodating and wonderful. Usually when you mention the word wedding companies try to see how far they can stretch your prices, NONE OF THAT HERE. Transparency from the beginning, generous prices and offers and someone who was genuinely excited to work with me and my vendors. Tempo you have solidified a forever loyal customer in me and i cannot wait to have you apart of our big day!! I will be sure to update this review with loads of amazing photos after the event. If you are thinking of contacting tempo to be apart of any event or special day, or even looking for an ethical company run by some lovely people for your regular dose of boba tea. I headed in to grab a tea - the menus are located on screens above the till and staff can help you out where you need. I love green apple tea so went for a hot green apple, and then added coconut jelly to it. The tea is served up in a plastic cup and sealed with a spill-proof lid. Maybe I ordered badly, but I didn't love the flavour - was coconut a mistake? Maybe it was! Anyway, I didn't end up finishing the drink so that was a shame but I just wasn't enjoying it. I'll give here another go though, just to see whether it was the ordering that made my tea taste a little meh.

So when visiting st enoch's centre I grabbed the opportunity to have one, and ordered a mint chocolate milk tea with classic tapioca topping. While waiting I watched them making the drink, and loved the high tech machine they use to seal each drink individually. However, I really disliked the drink unfortunately!!! I think this is more down to a poor choice on my part so I've reflected that in my rating, but I found the tapioca balls really odd and unpleasant, yeuch! Next time I'll try a fruit based tea with one of the other toppings I think - thank goodness for my husband the eternal dustbin who polished my first one off for me though ;)

I had heard rave reviews about Bubble Tea down in London and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I can't believe we actually have one in Glasgow. It's take away only so all the menus are outside the shop and both in English and in a Chinese language. There is so much choice it's just a list after list of options. So after opting for the Strawberry Pearl Milk Tea with ice, the lady did her magic. It's a tea made with a milk or cream with a flavour of your choice containing the small black tapioca balls which nestle at the bottle of the plastic cup. This is were you get the pearls from, it's all in them special balls. So shaken, sealed and with a lovely big pink straw for me, I was given my first Bubble Tea. The straw is so wide, just enough for you to suck up the balls. Oooft, so much could be said here but keeping it pearly clean. Hehe!! It's such a weird sensation and it's like a wee surprise in your mouth. Steady! They are soft, chewy and taste lovely. My strawberry flavour was delicious, my man got coconut, also very tasty. If you haven't been it's definitely worth departing 3 of your British pounds for something unique with a unusual taste sensation.

Never again did I think that I would find anything like it again, I had out those tapioca balls known in Canada as 'bubbles' being me and gotten back to the life of smoothies and fruit juice. Low and behold! Easy Way Tea exists in the strangest of places, the Savoy Centre!! There has never ever been any reason for me to go i to the Savoy Centre before in my life, but here it was! And no one knows about it? How can this be, these drinks really are a sensation. My first visit I had the Green apple flavoured green tea with the 'bubbles', oh that reminds me of holidays!! It was as good as the Canadian bubble tea as they called it. I think this sort of thing must be very popular in Taiwan, where I think it originated, because I recognised some of the contraptions which squeeze the bubbles into my drink. So refreshing and light, not like a smoothie at all, more like iced tea with little balls in it to suck up through a huge straw.

I'm going to make this clear…read more I love bubble tea ever since my girlfriend introduced me years back in Canada When she was over here the only place I could find at the time to do bbt was in the savoy centre and we all know that place is grim However over the years there has been a trend of new places opening. I first tried tempo at a stall during the merchant city festival, I wasn't blown away however chalked it down to it being a pop up stand Now that I can try tempo at a convenient location in silverburn I'm pained to say again I'm not blown away They use monin syrup as the flavouring which just give the bbt a syrupy taste ..... Nothing refreshing about it, just sickly syrup They also shake it with ice to cool it more which is great however they then throw all the ice away instead of giving a few cubes in the drink to kee it cooler longer I've said it before and I'll say it again..... Scotland doesn't do great bbt, it's ok but not great. If you order watermelon or strawberry etc in Canada .... You get the fresh fruit as part of the drink blended together giving a refreshing taste

Their stall here is nothing like the Queen St stall - it's a stall in the middle of the centre near Paperchase (M&S end) but they still know how to do an amazing bubble tea. I got the season special with passionfruit and added in some strawberry bubbles. Oh yeh. I love that you can get boba to take away too, and apparently it lasts for quite a while in the fridge. Totally doing that for when I get back from holidays and having me some boozy bubble tea at home! Woohoo! Note: they take card + Swipii loyalty card and are on Deliveroo.

However, drinking bubble tea is sort of like tasting wine! It is subjective and everyone has their own opinion about it. I was here for the yelp preview event and got a chance to sample 5 different types of bubble teas. As I am not a big fan of fruit tea, it is a no brainer taro&vanilla milk tea was the winner! Tip: Customise your drinks....Would you like: Less sweet? A stronger tea flavour? To add on another flavour like melon, peach, and even chcoolate? You are allowed to taste your own creation here (~_^) so enjoy it how you like it

Ok, I know that sounds super random, but bare with me. This Is not the easiest beverage to describe I must admit, but whatever flavour combinations you choose I guarantee you with discover happiness in a glass! Tempo Tea have a great little shop in those quirky arches just along the road from Waverley Station. It has a really awesome interior with bubble lights and iPads on the wall (to do selfies on!!), and there is a great playful vibe to match. Super trendy! I'm really happy to hear they support local artists and musicians by getting them to design tee shirts and bags for them and stock their CDs in store. It really doesn't feel like Edinburgh when you come here, it's its own bubble of joy and a great spot to head to when you need cheering up and a change of scene. Although seating is limited inside, this is the perfect place to grab a drink on the go. They have an epic selection of teas, juices and milk drinks to choose from, alongside a lot of different flavoured bubbles, boba and jellies to add to the base. (If you're confused by that last part, essentially I'm saying juicy balls, chewy balls, and Aloe Vera/coconut jelly pieces. They are a taste sensation, promise!!). You can have your drink hot, cold, or iced, caffeinated or caffeine free, and don't even get me started in the vast arrays of tasty juice and flavour combos you can have! I am extremely excited by this place as the possibilities are so endless and they really are very specialist in what they do. Take note that there are not any other bubble tea places in Edinburgh as diverse and fun as this one! Prices are really reasons for what they do, but be prepared to start a bubble tea kitty fund, because you're going to get addicted fast!! Top tip: The watermelon tea with Apple bubbles is super refreshing and tastes like summer and the Tarro Milk Tea with coconut jellies is like drinking a cake! There is literally something for every occasion... Keep your eye out for the star shaped boba too, its ludicrously cute!!
