Good quality work. They were too busy? to give me good customer service. I had to call back several…read moretimes to get their attention. The order turned out OK quality wise. I wanted to send them a guide print to serve as a reference but they would not let me do it and no proofing available. It was a large Giclee so I was a little concerned as I have not ever worked with a lab that refused both guide print and proof. It was a reproduction of my wife's oil painting so color matching is important to us. Communication was over the phone and email so I might have gotten better service in person. A bit defensive when answering questions. Maybe it was me? or they are just too busy because they do good work at reasonable prices.

My only suggestion if you are ordering a new one is to take a patience pill. It took much longer than originally quoted from Ries, but c'est la vie.

I was informed by email three different dates that is was shipped. Each time it had not shipped. I wanted it for a road trip up North but that will not happen. Keep in mind two things, one its NOT a custom order. two, nowhere on the website does it say shipping out will take this long. Not to mention that being perhaps the most expensive tripod on the market they still charge a shipping fee. I've asked more then once to just cancel my order and each time I'm told its shipping. Considering its still in the factory and will take 6-8 days more to arrive you would think Ries would offer a discount on expedited shipping but that is not the case. There website should have been a warning to me that perhaps something is wrong. Site was unusable to place an order. Not sure if this is a company or a side job. Obviously, being the only wood tripod manufactory in America there is a lack of competitors and they treat the customer accordingly.

This was for an infant so they made sure they took enough pics to finally get a good click. The entire store gave nostalgic vibes, old photo reels, so many cameras! I've lived all around the country and used labs all around the country, MoonPhoto is by far the most expensive lab I've used. $50 Toal per roll for developing, scans, and prints is pushing double what plenty of others charge. Not only that, when I dropped off my film, the cashier confirmed with me, not once, but twice, that I was getting scans, and prints, and that was over $117. Then to my shock when I was told my order was ready, I didn't see any scans, and upon asking I was told I still needed to purchase scans. This is even after explaining that I was told I was getting scans. That was an additional $80+, so I ended up paying $200 for 4 rolls. I won't be returning. Not even close to worth the cost, for how long it takes and how expensive it is.
