We started at this store in the plumbing section and what a treat it was. We were greeted by Tom, a vet, and the most helpful person I have EVER encountered at Home Depot ANYWHERE. He guided my daughter and I through everything we needed and even got us all the parts. We were able to repair two drain pipes (we found another cracked pipe after we started) and had the best bonding time ever. What an accomplished feeling, all thanks to Tom.

After approx 3 mos (with no contact from Budget Blinds) I called to ask on the status. Hmmmm all the shades were in .... The tech came out to install them and I was a bit disappointed. One shade hangs lower on the right, and a few shades show the rubber banding which hangs below the shade. One shade should really have been two separate shades because of the width of the window. As a result of the wide expanse and weight that shade does not hang evenly either. As a side note, in our previous home the designer installed 2 shades in an expanse the same size. So... why not contact budget blinds back? Because this is only a temporary home and will be selling soon!

There have been several near death experiences and several people have died. I developed a vision of floating star shaped candles, white for those who have died and blue for those who have survived their brush w/ death. I searched for these candles in several stores w/o success, although I did find round floating candles in white at Jo~Ann. I found some star shaped candles on Amazon, white ones, blue and red. I held out hope that I could buy the blue ones. When I attempted to buy them I couldn't find a way to specify color on the Amazon site. I asked Customer Service and they referred me to Crafted Candles, the seller. I called their 800 number (1-800-635-0274) and spoke w/ a very helpful, friendly woman. I decided to buy 5 white and 4 blue. They come in 2" and 3" diameter. I chose the larger. They arrived today and look perfect. It's nice to know the vision I had was not confined to my imagination. They have candles in many different shapes. They have no brick and mortar store, just sell online. I recommend them if you need candles that are out of the ordinary. If, like me, you are mistrustful of products made in China, you will be pleased to know that the ones I bought, at least, are American made. Her eye for color to help match the walls, trim and floors was awesome! We are loving our new shades and blinds and have had so many compliments. I think our favorite are the motorized shades. Our granddaughter loves when the "magic" happens when grandpa raises or lowers them with the remote. Also love our solar honeycomb shades that raise up and down for our sunroom.
