Absolute trash of a company. Car was forced to be towed here after an accident due to the racketeering scheme they have with College Park. When insurance picked up the vehicle for repairs, so parts did not make it. Spoke to a ln employee who told me on the phone I could come look for the missing parts. On arrival, a man told me "they don't keep parts", and would not allow me to look. Mind you, when I came to see the vehicle the day after the accident, the yard is littered with parts and mine were in front of the vehicle. Steer clear. Call any other towing service. read more

If I could give this trash company a 0/5 stars I would. THEY STEAL AND LIE!!! I was involved in an accident and my car was towed to this company. (Biggest mistake ever). The tow lady never asked me if I wanted to get any of my things. She simply took the fob and left while I was in the ambulance. I Spent 30 minutes on the phone with the receptionist who was convinced that my car was not there. After giving a full description and vin number along with the time and day of arrival She was still confused. When she finally found it, that put it in the system wrong which is why she couldn't find it. I went to sign a release form for my insurance to be able to take my car to a body shop, and the cigarette voice lady asked for my registration. I told her it was in the car and she rudely replied why didn't you take it out? They opened the gates for me to go look in my car and it looked like it had been ransacked. Everything was thrown around and it was muddy all over the seats and gear shift and my center console was busted open. I reached in my glove box to get my registration and noticed that my extra magazines for my firearm were missing along with some other things that I put in the glove box. Dropped my car off way in the back behind tow equipment so they could rummage uninterrupted. I went to confront them about it and everyone denied all of it. The cigarette voice lady was very rude and disrespectful and dismissive and told me to call the general manager to tell him about it. Then she gave me a business card with a few numbers on it. None of which was helpful. It was the number to the phone on her desk. I called the police and made a report and all of a sudden they wanted to try and be helpful. Bottom line, they go through your things in your car and steal what they want then lie about it when you find out. They make it extremely difficult to get your car and belongings so they can keep your car longer and then charge you more. STRAIGHT TRASH!! The hood rats that answer the phone need to be trained! They both sounded like they were getting up out of the bed!! I tried them because they were the closest and also hold the contract for the Airport! First I told them I'd meet them there with my keys since my office is just a mile away from where my vehicle stopped, they emphasized that if the driver arrived before I made it, they'd leave! I told them I was right up the street. I get there and wait and wait and wait. Finally I called them and they stated the driver had to get something to eat so he could take his meds.....WHAT??? On today I called to inquire about a tow, the lady was cool in the beginning but then she gave me the quote which was extremely high. I responded whoa let check more places and call back. The resp she gave was "you ain't got to call back" which is poor customer service and igno behavior for someone answering for a business. On Sunday, 10/15/23 I had Moody's wrecker service tow a Tesla I was driving from the side of the highway (because it ran out of battery) to a charge station. Today is day #2 and I am already traumatized and stressed by this company. I should have taken time out to read their reviews because I would have never called this horrible company! The driver whose name is Kale came to my pick-up location and immediately approached me with his credit card machine to collect payment before towing my vehicle which was fine with me. I paid by tapping my phone (apple pay) a total of $170 to go up 6 Miles to a charging station! He then put the vehicle on the bed and we (including my 6-year-old son) rode to the drop off location. The driver backed up into an open parking spot and my son and I left his vehicle so that I can keep an eye on my car. The driver begins to release the car from the tow truck HALFWAY. He told me that he was going to keep the car on halfway so that he can push the car back closer into the parking space. He asked me if my emergency brakes were on because he was afraid the car would roll and slam onto the ground (which should have been the first red flag) but I double checked my brakes for him and moved out the way to let him do his job. I watched the driver push the car back into the parking spot completely and before I can say anything I heard a big smack and so I screamed and ran to the back of the car and told him to stop. Instead of pulling the car off of the curb that he hit he proceeded to drop the car completely on the ground which caused more damage causing the back frame to cracked and break off the bottom of the car. By then the security of the plaza seen all of the commotion and heard the noise so he came and watched the whole thing with me as well. There was nothing that I could have done, I already told him to stop, I already told him he was too close to the curb, I just stood there in disbelief and horror! To make matters worse the driver was upset and was talking out loud saying "now I'm about to lose my job", "I should've left her ass there" just mumbling, cursing and saying all kinds of inappropriate remarks in front of my child and I. He got his phone, took pictures of the damages and left the scene without giving me any closure, information or waiting for the police. The security and I were stunned! I called Mood's to inform them of what happened. I spoke with Maria, and she told me there was nothing that she could do, and I would have to wait until Monday, to speak with the manager. Luckly, I took many pictures and videos of the whole thing before, during and after! I called the police, made the report, collected the security's information since he was a witness, and I went home hoping today would be a better day and we could resolve the issue. I was sick and had lost my voice, so I had my boyfriend call the company (he's also the owner of the vehicle" and they immediately made up various of lies and tried to shift the blame on me. I am guessing the driver lied to cover his own back. The first lie was about him having difficulty of collection my payment which was false because I tapped my phone and paid with apple pay right away. Then he claimed it was my fault because I asked him to put it into the parking space which was also a lie, the driver made that decision on his own. They also claimed the car wasn't on the bed when the damages happened, but I have a video and picture saying otherwise! How unprofessional do you have to be to only hear one side and to accuse and harass paying customers is beyond me! They told us they will pay half, but we have to go to three different auto shops and provide three different quotes first. Now with the little voice I had left in me I tried to explain to the manager my side of the story and how I was violated and cursed out and he cut me off and pretty much told me it was irrelevant and that he didn't believe my story. It's only been day two, TWO and it has been a complete nightmare. I hope we resolve this matter and fix my vehicle in FULL. If we have to take it to court, I have no problem in doing so but this place needs to be shut down ASAP! I read through the reviews, and everyone is saying the same thing over and over again! I believe documentation beats conversation! My vehicle was towed on 3/29/24 around 4pm. My vehicle was picked up on 3/31/24 at 6:30. My vehicle was just released from the body shop (was rear ended previously) to me on 3/27/24 with a new bumper, new paint, new trunk, and before/after pictures. Noticed damage under rear bumper on 3/31/24 on the impound lot. Noticed odd charges on invoice that same day. Was told to talk to Mr. Kevin Green. This morning I spoke to the ladies in the office who very respectful and we agreed that some on the charges were incorrect. She then proceeded to address Mr. Green then he eventually addressed me. I asked him were chains used to pull my vehicle and he said cables were used, no problem. I asked was my vehicle pulled from the rear he said yes. I offered for him to take pictures he declined. He wanted me to get 3 estimates and bring them to him no problem. He refuses to refund me what's owed to me unless I get 3 estimates and let him get a copy of my ID. He stated a copy of my ID is needed so I won't come back in 30 day to dispute the charges from a credit card that may or may not have been used (iykyk)(wink wink)! My ID was provided in order to retrieve my vehicle. I would never bash his business privately or publicly, but his business practices are definitely sketchy. I would like to address Mr. Kevin directly since on here I can actually get a word in and not have a man yelling and being belligerent to me. The condescending manner in which our brief interaction I got to see for myself was not needed. Leadership starts from the top down. The lady in the office was fair and understanding contrary to some of the previous negative reviews. Mr. Green everyone that addresses you with (legitimate) concerns is not trying to scam or squeeze money out of you. I know you would try to respond to this review with the blame game, the denial of wrongdoing, etc but this is not a blame or accountability post. My car was taken here after a wreck. I was rushed to the hospital from the scene so unfortunately I could not have anyone to pickup my things until the very next day. When they arrived, my brand new $260 Sony headphones that were still in the box were REMOVED from the box and they left it empty. Horrible service. If I could not give a start at all that would sum up exactly how I feel about these incompetent crooks! An old high school classmate works for Moody Wrecking, he came and towed my car. A week later I went to sign the release form for the insurance company to pick up the car, I went to check on the car and noticed they'd scratched and dented the bumper of my car and messed up my axle towing the car. When I asked what happened to my car nobody seemed to know anything. And, not only that, they had the nerve to send me a bill for over $500. After the second time, I get a message that they won't release my vehicle to my insurance without a copy of the registration too. Helloooo! Why wasn't that said the first TWO times I was there? Horrible service. They put a dent in the bumper of my car and messed up my axel towing the car. When told about what happened Kevin Green(the GM) got very upset and condescending saying they didn't do it but they'd pay for it if it cost around $30-$40. Why offer to pay for it if you didn't damage it and not to mention before walking back to the car I was asked to sign a damage waiver which I said no until I see my car wonder why. And I have video of one of their staff attempting to fix my bumper(which he didn't) but they didn't damage it. Never ever use this company. You ask for a manger and they hang up on you. Immediately after the auction, someone comes up to me and says that the owner was at the auction and was bidding the car up on me to make more money.... The vehicle I purchased had been reported stolen (Moody's failed to run the VIN properly before auctioning) and the police returned the vehicle to the owner!!! They picked me up drove me 15 miles charged me almost $500, I paid them over half the money and they took the truck with them until I could get someone to bring me money the next day to pay them and then they charged me another $700 the next day to bring the truck to me. I am a disabled Army Veteran that had a appointment for my VA rating evaluation. I parked next to the building where I had my appointment. I even used Google maps street view to make sure that I didn't Park in a location that my car would be towed. This company illegally towed my car from the side of the building and then lied saying I was parked across the street. I have very limited income because I am totally dependent on what I receive from the VA. It cost me nearly everything I have for the entire month to get my car out. I am contacting serveral veteran groups and have this company investigated for illegal actions. I am also in contact with several media organisations about this companies despicable actions. I hope the $175 dollars they got out of this was worth it! I have thousands of people that will be helping me spread this information too.
