I love love love love the Boba! it has a very unique taste that no other location i know of, has. I always get the smoothies and occasionally tea. The smoothers taste pretty natural so HECK YEA! I'll admit the wait is a bit long but it's very much worth it. I'm not a patient person at all, but the fact that the Popcorn Chicken Combo is just VERY DELICIOUS despite the wait time, literally says it all because i totally love it!!! :D i would really recommend trying that dish. read more

Came in at 9pm on a Wed night for a smoothie. Nothing fancy, just a popular drink on the menu. The restaurant was not busy, but it took around 25 min for me to get my drink. Now I could understand if it were during a lunch/dinner rush, but not at 9pm on a Wed. The purpose of my review is twofold... this place has great drinks, so much so that we have made a point to support them during the Covid19 pandemic 4 days in a row this week, ordering 6 drinks at a time and spending over $35 dollars a visit. That's brings me to the service, which is beyond BAD and had progressively gotten worse, specifically bringing me today, which was not only terrible, but enough to stop ordering. Now each time we've ordered this week the order and service has progressively gotten worse, but a.we've got a boba addiction in our family b. My kid is obsessed with their mango smoothie and c. We like to support local business wherever possible. And D. We are obviously a glutton for punishment but we are trying to cut everybody some slack during the pandemic... So on Monday they forgot our boba in two drinks even though we were charged, Tuesday we were given the wrong Milk tea, Wednesday we drove 30 minutes out of the way for lunch to be told they wouldn't have teas ready until 11:30 and no boba until 12:00 yet they open at 11am!!?? We let it all slide, and tipped graciously. Today we place our order, same as all 4 days, the guy repeats it back to us to confirm. We pick it up and although as usual we are the only customer there, they have made the order wrong. After having already waited 15 minutes in the car, we wait another 10 minutes for them to make our Iced boba latte, instead of the hot coffee we had been previously given. While waiting on the remake, we then realize we are also missing boba in ALL the other drinks! We let the guy know and he takes the drinks back inside to fix them. Ten more minutes go by and the manager comes outside to the car and sticks her face right in the window to tell us we weren't charged for the boba and do we want it still? If so, she needs a $1 first! We've now waited twenty minutes and paid $35 for a contactless curbside pickup, that the manager has completely shot it to hell over $1 (which we asked for when placing the order) and they have yet again screwed up. On top of all this they decided to dump the hot coffee on top of a cup of ice and bring us out a Luke warm watered down coffee in its place. We've spent over $140 bucks this week at their establishment and they were more concerned about .10 cents of boba then taking caring of their customers and fixing their mistakes. We were shocked and honestly upset by their behavior and will go elsewhere for boba next time. read more

I was really excited to try this place after seeing countless posts from my friends all over the internet. The big kid caprisun concept is very cute and unique but it is very impractical. The drinks are mediocre and the services was very subpar. I only ordered three drinks (green milk tea, Oreo milk tea and passionfruit green tea) but the cashier taking my order had a really hard time getting it right. Only one of the drinks came out right. He also charged me multiple times, telling me the transaction didn't go through even after I pulled up my bank statement, showing that it did indeed go through. There was only one other customer there besides my sister and I (he came in afterwards) and got his drink before us. It took a good 15-20 minutes for us to get our drinks (which came out wrong). It made good pictures but it definitely wasn't worth the drive. I know it's kind of unfair to judge the whole facility based solely off their drinks and customer service without trying out the food, but I had such a bad experience, it's hard to give it a second chance. There are so many better boba options in the area, I can't say that I will be coming back anytime soon. read more

Got give them a 5 out of 5, the atmosphere is beyond my expectation. The moment I walked I know they put a lot of effort in it. On top of that, they have wide variety of entrees that you can choose. Doesn't matter if you feel like eating Thai food, or Japanese poke bowl or Taiwanese popcorn chicken, they got them ALL!! And they also have crepe and rolling ice cream. How cool is that! read more

This is such a cute place! It's a little overlooked knowing it's next to Normas. However there's so much you can get there from boba tea, rolled ice cream, macarons/desserts, poke bowls, and a variety of Asian cuisines quick eats(Thai/Japanese). My favorite is the oreo black milk tea because I've never tried oreo in a milk tea since I went there and I'm hooked. My go to meal is the fried fish combo which comes with rice and a salad. This place is a hidden gem in Dallas! This place has a little something for everyone. You want boba? They have it. Feeling hungry? They have poke. Want dessert after that poke? They have rolled ice cream and macarons. Oh and if you're looking for a cute picture to post on Instagram, you can get your drink in a creative bag! It's cute for pics, but not very practical to drink out of. The tea is always great and the boba is always fresh. I'd give it 5 Stars, but I sucked up a hair in my drink on a recent stop. Stopped in for an ice cream that cost $5.99 which came out to around $6.50 with tax. I proceeded to pay but the business has decided that $6.50 wasn't worth their time or effort. Low and behold there's an $8 minumum but the cashier was willing to take an extra 50 cents from me and make it $7. How about nothing. I decided nothing works even better for me and took my business elsewhere. I admire the aesthetic of this cafe. Staffs are friendly, cute decorations and they have a lot to offer. I tried Durian smoothie, a more exotic flavor, and it didn't hit my expectation. All I could taste was ice, very faint durian flavor, no certain sweetness was found to my tastebud, as if they blended it with too much ice so the flavor was diluted away. So I have been a loyal customer to this place for more than 3 years, coming every month if not twice a month, and buying takeouts since the pandemic. But today I'm super disappointed. I called in advance to see if it's okay to dine in because I brought my daughter and son who got super wet in the rain and their shoes are worn out too. The boy over the phone said they have tables there, and no restroom and if that's okay with us they are fine. So I went there, ordered the food, and held both kids, (4 & 1 are the ages) all the way without shoes and put them on a couch. As the two set tables are occupied, I took one table from the pile at the corner by myself, and sat there. Nobody stopped me, not even when someone served the drinks, and I didn't have a single clue that it's not cool with them. And we waited for more than half an hour. When food is ready, all of a sudden they started to accuse us of "forcing our way to dine in" and "breaking the rules". Guys, I wouldn't even drive here if I wasn't told it's ok to dine in. And I wasn't told by anyone that setting the table by myself is not okay. I did leave, running three times back and forth to get the kids and food out of the place. I just want to say if you don't allow something, please let everyone know ahead of time instead of letting it happen and then accuse afterwards. I have no single intention in breaking your rules given the fact that many other restaurants are offering dine in options now. It's insulting and disrespectful being accused in front of the public of something I didn't intend to do. I feel hurt even if I am walking in for the first time, nonetheless being a loyal customer for years. I was sharing with my family that this is my favorite restaurant and we have the same printing designer over their menus and my business cards. Good new place that sells boba in Dallas. Seating is quite spacious and conducive for an extended study session. Had a regular milk tea with boba and thought it was well executed. Not too sweet and boba had good consistency. One unique twist at Royal IT is they sell their regular size drinks in a "bag". They also serve a wide variety of hot food as well. read more

I just came here like an hour ago to try them the first time. I ordered Rose Milk Tea with boba. The drink is a little too sweet but the boba is delicious! I have never had better boba any where else. The reason I only give 3 stars is because it took me a total of 25 min from the time I walked in til the time I could leave. I guess I came at a not so good time. The boba ran out and so they had to make it. Also, the staff that took the order was sincere and sweet, but overall I could tell that they need someone to help them learn how to serve customers in a more organized process. It was chaotic! They just need a system to go by to be more efficient. They charge 50 cents on cards if your order is less than $8. I had cash. 50 cents are nothing, but to be honest, hardly nobody does that any where else unless you visit a local shop in a less nice area. Royal IT Cafe is in a rich neighborhood. I don't see a reason why they would do that. A nice cafe overall but there is much needed improvement. I will be back with my friends and family. read more

They provide a variety of tea options and appetizers/small bites. The popcorn chicken was good but it was missing the sweet & sour dip like most other boba places offer. The service is nice and the place definitely is a hole in the wall. I live in this area and I passed by this business multiple times and I never really knew what the restaurant was all about and the signage didn't really appeal to me. To be honest, I thought it would just be another okay Asian cuisine. However, I was in the very wrong and it only taught me to not judge a book by its cover. The place is SUPER adorable and there are multiple places for photo ops! I seriously wish I had brought my camera to just take pictures while sipping on my mango green tea. My husband ordered the rose milk tea which has boba and pudding and he also ordered the pistachio macaroon. I ordered the mango green tea and a Nutella macaroon. My drink was really nothing too special and it was almost a little too sweet (tasted more like mango juice with a hint of green tea rather then green tea with infused mango) and my Nutella macaroon was a bit too soft... kind of like a brownie (the filling had the same consistency/softness as the shell and I like my macaroon with a slight crunch/crispy shell with a soft filling). My husband's drink was so delicious and his macaroon had a better taste and it held a little bit more crunch at the shell... seriously I wish I ordered what he did haha. This place reminds me of those cute carrolton cafes. They have a lot of great options on drinks and food. The food I've yet to try but their teas and milk teas are super delicious. There's a tea with a orange or grapefruit inside that I absolute adoreee. They give a baggie to go option for the drinks that are cute but each time I go it's always sold out.
