Fun, festive, tasty ramen! I really enjoy the food and ambiance. The service is friendly and fast. It is very spacious here. Recommend checking out. They also have a karaoke room!

Busy workday, no time to step out, but I was craving soup. I saw great reviews for KPop Ramen and decided to place an Uber Eats order. I ordered the garlic miso ramen combo with a seasoned egg, fried mandu, garlic pork steamed dumplings, cucumber salad, and a lychee tea. Everything was packaged really well. The fried mandu was still crisp when it arrived, and the ramen was packed smartly in a two-part bowl broth on the bottom, toppings separated on top to keep everything fresh. The ramen broth had a strong, rich flavor with plenty of toppings, and each item had its own distinct taste. Portions were generous - I had plenty left over. The cucumber salad and lychee tea weren't my favorites. The salad had large chunks of garlic that overpowered it, and the tea had a strong unexpected flavor (possibly ginger) that took away from the lychee. I wouldn't order those again. Overall, though, the ramen and dumplings were delicious, and I'd definitely order from here again.

Ordered K Pop Ramen in Dallas through Uber Eats. Delivery was surprisingly fast, got to me in about 20 minutes which honestly was a plus right away. First thing I noticed was the packaging. I actually liked the container setup. The soup was in the bottom and the dry ingredients were separated in a top container that sat right above it. The noodles, corn, bok choy, scallions, garlic bits, and two pieces of pork were all kept dry which helped prevent everything from turning into mush during delivery. The char siu grilled pork was just okay. The cut itself was decent with a mix of lean and fat, so texture wise it had potential. There were visible grill marks which was nice, but the flavor fell short. It didn't feel marinated enough and honestly tasted slightly frozen. It lacked that fresh tender bite you expect from good ramen style pork. The noodles were my biggest disappointment. They were not terrible but definitely not the fresh chewy ramen noodles I am used to. These broke apart very easily and kind of just sat in your mouth instead of having that springy chew. It felt more like packaged noodles than fresh ramen. Scallions were actually fresh and crunchy which I appreciated. The corn was fine, nothing special but it did its job. Now the broth. This really did not taste like a proper tonkotsu style pork bone soup. It lacked that rich milky creamy texture you get from long boiled pork bones. It honestly felt like a powdered base rather than something simmered for hours. It was drinkable but not satisfying if you are looking for an authentic ramen experience. Overall I would give this a solid 3 stars. It felt more like a convenient filling ramen rather than something you order for a true ramen fix. Quick delivery and decent packaging helped, but the noodles and broth really held it back. Fine if you want something fast and warm, just don't expect top tier ramen.

I've been to K Pop Ramen twice, and both times I ordered takeout. Overall, it was a good experience, and I can definitely see the potential. The ramen could have used a bit more flavor, but I suspect that may be because I ordered it to go. I think dining in might make a difference, so that is something I plan to try next time. The ambience was nice. It is a cute, cozy, boutique style spot located in a plaza. That said, it was very cold outside in Dallas when I visited, and the inside of the restaurant also felt quite cold, which was another reason I did not stay to eat. Even so, the space itself felt welcoming, and there seemed to be a steady flow of customers dining in, which is always a good sign. On my first visit, I ordered the spring rolls and really enjoyed them. On my second visit, I tried a combo that included dumplings, which were not my favorite. The beverages, however, were outstanding both times and easily a 10 out of 10. I also tried the ube frozen macaron, which was absolutely delicious and a standout item. The first time I visited, my ramen was missing the egg, but when I called, they handled it well and made it right, which I appreciated. Parking was easy both times, another plus. I also appreciated that they are open late. After a delayed late night flight, this ended up being a great post midnight meal or snack option. Overall, I felt the value for what you get is solid and fairly priced, especially the combo options. If the pricing were higher, I might have been disappointed, but at this price point, the quality and portions felt appropriate. I am looking forward to coming back to dine in, try the ramen again, and definitely get another ube frozen macaron next time I am in Dallas. The lemonade was amazing and the dumplings were disappointing for me. I also don't like that they charge you extra for not getting ice in your beverage.

It's k-pop themed food and ramen and fusion, so good place to stop by the try them out The ramen is tasty, quantity is small, but very juicy and flavorful, and they have other side dishes and more Korean street food also Service can be very slow especially during dinner also definitely remember to take your number, the system does not necessarily remind you to take the number very well Overall, a good chill spot, and in a isolated neighborhood but for sure fun to try out!

We came here right after landing for some late-night eats and it was exactly what we needed. The spot is small but super trendy with bright colors, fun decor, and K-pop music playing the whole time. Even though it was busy, the vibe was energetic and welcoming. You can order at the counter or through the kiosk and they bring the food out to your table. Service was quick, especially for how packed it was. The ramen and sides were delicious and very affordable for the quality. This place absolutely hits the spot when you want something flavorful and comforting. The broths are rich, toppings are generous, and that it is one of the better late-night food options in the area. It is a reliable place for a good bowl of ramen when everything else is closed. Overall, K-Pop Ramen is a fun, tasty, and convenient stop if you are craving something warm after a long travel day or late night out. I would definitely come back.

Vegan review Just no. I guess I have had amazing ramen elsewhere in Dallas, that this does not compare. Hinodeya and Jinya are amazing and I have them often. We came here as it was close to a yoga class we took and we wanted ramen. I got the vegetarian ramen and it was as plain as can be. It was basically just broth. One piece of tofu, one little green vegetable, and a ton of corn..... disappointing. I asked for no spice, and of course it was spicy. I had to all for plain broth to take the spice away. We also waited 20-30 minutes to get our dishes. The restaurant decor was not great compared to the location they were in. The bathrooms actually looked nicer than the resident dining area. I will not be coming back here.

Super chill vibe / great pricing and a quick easy spot to get ramen! Best thing too is that there is a ton of parking. Note it's so spicy!!! Three levels of spice... we got the lowest one and it was still SO spicy. But it was super good. Loved the dumplings too! The people were all so friendly too and the food came out so fast

We came here with a group of seven after our night market event because we were craving hot food to warm us up since it was cold. We found this place on Google and Yelp, and none of us had ever been there before. Our friends from Fort Worth wanted ramen, so we all decided to give it a shot for the first time. It did not disappoint, and since they close at 2 AM on weekends, it was perfect -- we arrived around 10:30. The food was really good. Inside, you get the vibe of K-pop; there are K-pop bands everywhere, and TVs playing K-pop music, which was fun. The music was great, and the food was very delicious. I had the ramen with pork belly, which was excellent. The flavor was well-balanced, and I liked that the grilled pork belly didn't have a burnt flavor, unlike some other places I've been. I wouldn't say it was the absolute best ramen ever, especially compared to my experiences in Japan, but it was really delicious, and I enjoyed it. I definitely want to go back to try more ramen. I also ordered the pork egg rolls, which were really good and filled with meat, which I liked. My sister had another type of ramen and enjoyed it. Our friends tried a different ramen and loved it. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was on point and delicious. I highly recommend visiting if you want some ramen, especially late at night -- they close at 2 AM. Overall, a great experience, and I will definitely go back. This is a ramen place I'll keep on my list for future cravings.

Texas sized K-Pop Soup Ramen (Spicy)
    David M.

K pop ramen is located in a strip mall in uptown Dallas. They have a lot of various Japanese merch and themed drinks you can buy. You order on a kiosk touch screen and the ordering is fairly easy. The food was delicious and the sizes are very generous. You can upgrade your ramen to Texas sized and it is about double the size of their original ramen size. The broth was very delicious and the Bao buns are a great appetizer to get to supplement your ramen. The ramen isn't too spicy either. This is a pretty popular spot as there were many people coming and going to pickup their take out order. Will definitely go back again.

Ask the Community - K Pop Ramen

Do they have gluten free options?

Does the soup ramen comes with noodles, looking at the online order menu but it's not included in the description. Their is an up charge to add noodles! Wasn't too sure if it's to order noodles or extra noodles on the side?

yeah I think so, when it says extra noodles they just mean for after you finish your first noodles you can add them in your broth

Can I order the burgers or the Fried chicken Sandwhich for Delivery?

Nobody knows what a "sandwhich" is.

Not a problem since we enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying our drinks. The bartenders were great, fast and very friendly. I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

I am surprised despite the popularity, the wait was not long at all and we were able to get seat almost immediately. For the first time, we ordered 2 appetizers - shrimp tempura and gyoza, not particularly outstanding, but they came out fast! As we were diving into our appetizers, the ramen was ready for us. I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice. I personally like mine better because it was creamy and super flavorful compared to the Hinodeya special. My boyfriend tends to get stomach ache and fee bloated if he eats too much MSG. But he didn't feel any of those symptoms. To him, it was one of the biggest indicators if that is a good ramen or not. For the second time, we ordered takoyaki and karaage. Again, nothing too outstanding. This time, my boyfriend had what I had last time and I ordered the Tonkatsu special (no pic, sorry!). Maybe because of the lack of spice, I still prefer the Spicy Miso Special over Tonkatsu (Tonkatsu ramen is always my go-to in ramen spots). Regardless, we enjoyed our meals very much in both times. The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. It might be better to retain the crisp and crunch of the gyoza skin with the chilli sauce on the side? On to the ramen -- if you want to know if you're getting a quality bowl, look no further than the preparation of the egg. No respectable ramen shop would serve you well done boiled eggs which was the case here. The tonkatsu had heavy garlic flavor which is good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the abundance of burnt garlic bits. Not much to say about the Dan Dan. Bathroom clean but had a strong smelled. Would not go out of my way nor return with the amount of noodle options in dfw.

Me and few friends needed a hangover lunch and JINYA hit the spot! JINYA Tonkotsu Black ramen…read morelooked like their classic specialty so most of us ordered that and it did not disappoint! The noodles were delightfully chewy and the broth had a rich and full flavor without being overly fatty; I finished every drop of the garlicky goodness. The pork chashu was tender and the egg had a jammy orange yolk. The Birria ramen sounded interesting but a bit gimmicky. They also have chicken ramen for those who cannot appreciate the deliciousness that pork offers. The interior was cozy and upscale for a ramen spot and they have an outdoor patio which is nearly as large as the inside. The service was respectable but not noteworthy. Cons: A little pricey but I guess that's par for the course in Preston Hollow. $23 for my bowl of ramen after tax & tip. Moriya Shokuda is still my current favorite ramen spot but JINYA is very solid! 4.5 stars!

Parking wasn't bad either, there are lots and a garage nearby. However, the food itself fell flat for me. We ordered the crispy chicken happy hour special, which comes with a side salad. The chicken was on the dry side. Whenever I order Kaarage, it usually comes with a dipping sauce, but there was none here and that would've really helped out. The dressing on the side salad was way too acidic, making it hard to eat as well. In addition, we ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer. The takoyaki themselves were pretty solid, but the texture of the mayo was off. I'm not sure if they make their mayo in-house, but i noticed it was curdled. EDIT: after reading the restaurant's response, the texture I noticed was because it's an egg tartar sauce For the ramen, we ordered Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Creamy Veggie Ramen. Pricing is standard for DFW ramen restaurants, although *slightly* higher than some others (by like $1). The base ramen comes with a good variety of toppings! However, the ramen was just okay. The noodles are on the skinnier side, which I prefer thicker, chewier noodles. The pork chashu serving was small, and it tasted kind of old and wasn't that tender nor flavorful. The broth was just alright. I prefer soft-boiled, jammy ramen eggs, but the ajitama here was cooked longer than I would've liked. Ironically, I thought the veggie ramen was *much* better. The broth had better flavor, and they use different noodles than the tonkotsu, which were thicker (and exactly what I like!). Lastly, we had the matcha tiramisu for dessert. On a positive note, the matcha flavor was detectable. However, the tiramisu crème wasn't that fluffy, and there were noticeable amounts of undissolved sugar.

I went the day before Thanksgiving and the japanese chef was a one man show. He was the only one running the establishment because everyone else had left to go to Japan for the holiday. He is so so so so nice. I don't go back to restaurants very often but this place has my heart. This time I got the spicy pork ramen (17), spicy garlic chicken ramen (18), and then got the spicy garlic pork ramen (19) togo. I will say it is a little bit salty, with the garlic ones being more salty than the non garlic ones. However the garlic ones do have more flavor. There's not that much meat/protein either just one piece of meat and an egg. The could be slightly better but it's still good. It also just has bamboo shoots but nothing else. A very simple bowl. Ambiance is nice, it feels upscale but also homey at the same time. They have an open kitchen concept which I like.

I had to dig for it. I know they probably put the meat at the bottom so it'll warm up with the broth, but I prefer it at the top. The egg was whole and cooked so it was a little runny inside, which I liked. I also liked the noodles. Unrelated to the food, I sat on the bench and there was a customer sitting on the bench beside me. She kept shifting around and causing the entire bench to move, which I didn't like.
